Beautiful oceanfront property! It was a very effortless stay, staff was helpful, dining options associated with the Breakers were nice and convenient. Only 2 knock I have is initial check in can be a little confusing only because the 3 buildings on the beach are split up due to a Marriot in between and parking is a bit spread out but still close to the resort. All and all Great stay!

Check in and check out not so good, only one person at the counter checking in 4 buildings! waited 43 minutes to get checked in! Stayed in the Palms, room was clean, good view to ocean and pools. Not so good for room service, called for more towels, never answered, had to walk over to registration building to get towels every day, stayed 5 days! staff was nice once you found one! Would stay here again, just need to up the customer service end!

The only thing you ple hav told us about the 3location for the breaker site

The family suit was very satisfying. The suit was very nice and clean. The ocean view was amazing we couldn't ask for more.

This was an alright hotel I was expecting it to be bigger but it was nice. I’m OCD so I never stepped barefoot in this hotel although it was relatively clean. Um you need to ask for housekeeping the day prior for them to take ur trash out/bring new towels. What else , oh yeah the elevator took forever while we were checking out cuz of every floor stop/ full elevator. We waited over 10 minutes for an empty elevator.. I also thought this had breakfast but no.

We have stayed here before and usually have a great experience. This time, it was a nightmare and we won’t be returning. After traveling for 13 hours and arriving at 1am, we were given a room that was already occupied. We had to walk back in the rain to the check-in, and wait again for the front desk to sort out a new room. The next room didn’t have blankets for the second bedroom or hand soap and we had to call maintenance to have the shower fixed.
Very poor experience.

There are a few different buildings in this resort, which I was not aware of. Unfortunately we got the Dunes across the street. It's a small, older, outdated hotel. Beds are uncomfortable and floors are dirty. Room services was always on point though. The plus side was you still get access to the resorts pools and slides, which are really nice.

The Sailfish Bldg has ROACHES! This room details that is is newly renovated when booking, this is untrue. At some point maybe the room was painted but that novelty has since worn off. Room is dirty. Hairs found throughout the suite. Multiple pre existing linens stained. Paint is chipped throughout the room, cabinetry is chipped. Roaches came out at night on day 2 from the bedroom night stand/behind beds. Every curtain, bedpost, lamp, pull out coach, wall coach/behind has a film of dust. The only plus is the view of the ocean and location convenience. We have stayed in the Paradise Bldg. over 6 times with no issues which is why we always returned to this result. Not sure what happened but this resort has gone down hill. Everyone has different standards, ROACHES are a big NO for us. Day 2, we requested with guest services to switch rooms due to the roaches and other room issues. The only solution guest services provided was to send an exterminator to the room the next day while we still stay there or we could go find and stay at a different hotel. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
SafetyRoom lock not bolted to wall upon our arrival. Lock hanging on to a thread. Staff was aware, no fix for 2 days. Staff stated they have security cameras on-site security so we should have nothing to worry about. This was a huge safety concern for our family of 5 with 3 being children.

The staff was very accommodating.

The oceanfront was lovely. The pools were great. The shower was good. Beds were comfortable. The only downside was a very loud air conditioner that woke us frequently whenever it came on.

This place for what the money was was OK but it is on the verge of being extremely rundown. There is a communication on exactly where you are staying at in the three or four properties they have surrounding the resort. They came in and changed our trash bag every day, but didn’t really do anything to clean the rooms

All was good

First time staying at the breakers resort. Family loved their stay. Overall the place was very clean besides the frame on the fold down bed . Visually can see remnants of kids snacks wedged between the matress and the bed frame. Needs to be addressed. I have a phobia staying in hotels, this one was very good to me . Bedroom and bathroom was very pleasant. Stayed at the Paradise bulding. Will stay there again next year.

We spent a week with a family of four at this hotel. Overall a decent experience, we were there for a peak busy season week.
Here is my honest opinions
Room was fine. Bed and bedding was average quality. Space was adequate for a family of 4. But simple things like only 2 chairs on balcony, or 3 full size towels in the bathroom was an indication they are trying to supply the minimum. If you called and asked for more they were happy to help. But it is a minimalistic mentality that you would like to see the other way.
The fitness center is undersized for a facility this big. Again minimalistic, 4 treadmills, 1 all in one machine with missing pins.
Bar areas are adequate, not extravagant but effective. Service is friendly and good. Didn't eat in the facility to review.
Pool areas are adequate and cleaned daily. Grass areas have weeds and bald spots, so its not meticulous but fine. Not all the showers work. Slides are an excellent feature and very nice for a hotel, kids and dad loved. Lazy river didn't have enough rafts again little things.
Access to beach, shops, and things to do is excellent. Parking access is excellent and never hard to find a spot. Starbucks literally across street as well as ice cream, candy, burger place (excellent) and other restaurants.
Elevators are average, we used stairs primarily (3rd floor). Door regulators are all old so every door slams, so it is a loud hotel.
Overall, you won't be disappointed but you also won't be blown away.

Outside location was good including pools and beach but our dunes building was very old. Elevator had very bad urine smell. There was no exhaust in the bathroom, no mirror in the bedroom and no air conditioner on the other bed.
Our microwave and coffe maker were broken.
So for the bedroom we stayed, I can say it was 2 or less stars property.

Nice stay

Buyer beware. The Dunes building of this property should be condemned. Dirty, old, dangerous and just a horrible horrible hotel. The other buildings belonging to the resort located across the street seemed nice, but we weren't booked there. No indication on the website that the building we were booking was an abomination. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but we left after first night.....Staff was nice though
3.8
Stayed at the palms building and was nice but the room needed some maintenance to be fully ready for guests. Laminate floor has decent gaps in it and the ceiling needed a specific cleaning. We didn’t use the oven but it needed to be replaced.
3.8
Perfert location! Clean pool and dining area. Music during the day by the pool. Room clean and perfert view on the balcony. Staff great and friendly. Will book again!
3.8
The hotel would be wonderful if not surrounded by partying and homeless people on the streets. Also smelled like sewer outside of the hotel due to the manholes that are literally where you unload your luggage
3.8
I like that it was very quiet. The property was very old. The rooms were cleaned well. The air conditioners were leaking. The hotel employees were very nice.

Apartment was good. Clan and very large for a family of 4. Good location if you like being close to shops, restaurants and lots of people. We stayed here for 1 night because our apartment up north was not ready unil the next day. Area up north is much more quiet, relaxing and enjoyable for us. Others may prefer this area. Pool was not great but we used it and it was good enough. Obviously close to the beach :) I recommend the place for the most part, the area a little less.

Best place!

Me and my family had such a beautiful vacation. This hotel had something for all ages and was close to the beach. 3 minutes drive to broadway on thr beach and 14 min walk to boardwalk
3.8
Convenient and ideal location. Friendly staff. Kid friendly and no issues
3.8
Staff, location and room were wonderful. The room was minimal on supplies this time and almost no cookware. Easy to get to all of our favorite places to see and eat. This was our 4th stay and we will continue to stay here when we come to Myrtle Beach.

Very clean place. Really enjoyed my stay. The staff were really helpful and attentive will book again!!

Twas a good time for me and me family

Family of 6 with kids ranging from 8-16. The 1 bedroom in paradise tower was perfect size. Everything we needed at the hotel or in walking distance. Perfect location. Amenities were great. Room was great
3.8
All around to staff and surroundings. Excellent enjoyed every bit of our stay
3.8
Check in sucks. Parking garage is tiny and hard to get by all the soccers mom’s Escalades. Requested towels twice a day because they only give you a few. Property is continently located. Very busy elevators during peak times. About the basic normal overpriced resort stay. Rooms were updated but the facilities are clearly dated. I would stay again if it were about half what we paid.
3.8
I had a roach in my room & that wasn't the room i would like to have I won't the oceanfront I waa looking at the street all week end not happy
3.8
Our stay was amazing! Only issue was the elevator kept being out of service and caused a big crowd to wait for one to come. But eventually we started using the stairs which wasn’t too bad. Pool, lazy river, beach front, and parking was smooth! My family had a blast
3.8
Food was right outside of the resort
3.8
Guests should be warned of the amount of cars and trucks that race up and down with sport mufflers and loud music. It is constant. Even running a fan on high or keeping the TV on was not enough to cover it up. It sounded like the cars were reving up in the apartment next door. It didn’t stop until 2:45 AM
