Very mediocre and not recommended unless its your last option. When checking in the person at the front desk took my ID then left for 5 minutes to go outside with me standing there without an explanation, which was very sketchy. People at the neighboring Red Roof Inn, despite signs saying otherwise, will come in and grab free breakfast. There was clearly an 'effort' to upgrade the facilities, but it is all surface level and the details are ignored. Molding around the room is cracked and my room had part of the ceiling cracking and mold spots. Its just not maintained and there seems to be little effort to improve it. I wouldn't be surprised if you stayed during spring and summer if insects were an issue.

The hotel itself is not too bad, though the location is not the safest. I was extremely disturb to find that this hotel is welcoming prostitution and drug dealing. Could not sleep all night because of the loud noises and fights.

I was hoping for something clean and without cockroaches was the first thing I found and then the service is terrible they don't have towels you have to go out and ask for them for the price you're paying I don't think it's a new occupation

First of all, when I got there there was no one at the front desk. The gentleman waiting in the lobby before me said he had been waiting for 20 minutes. After sitting for another 10 minutes the clerk finally showed ip and took care of us. The room was surface clean but very much in need of deep cleaning and repairs. The bathroom especially needed an overhaul which they seemed to be doing in other rooms as the clerk made me aware. There were also little things like paint peeling and loose baseboards in the room. Fortunately, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet; two major requirements for my trip. So all and all, I give them a 6.5!

Total of 5 nights. The room was not cleaned once even upon request. Had to ask; well BEG for towels, toilet paper, and other essentials expected of any stay multiple times. Staff DO NOT follow through on empty promises to correct concerns. The staff from check-in to check-out was not friendly or professional, nor did they have any decorum of customer service. The staff is downright rude and annoyed at times. The HOT breakfast was way overexaggerated... prepackaged grits and oatmeal. Yogurt that customers had to fight over because of the limited amount, of apples that were old and mushy. They did offer make your own waffles but there was no one supervising and guests made a terrible mess which begs to question the cleanliness of the station. The juice and coffee were dispensed and watered down. There were also weekly/monthly renters who obviously had some form of mental health or social issues that frequented the breakfast daily and scared other guests. So I would skip this motel and go elsewhere.

The location of the motel (more Langley than Takoma Park) and the run down condition of both area and motel may put some off. Booked this in a hurry and thought I was staying more west, closer to Silver Spring. The area is quite busy, and has several options for food, like McD and Chipotle, and some ethnic small restaurants. The rooms and beds were quite clean, though very run down. It was fully booked in early October, as was the motel next door. I booked two rooms under my name, and though it asked for the name of the person who would stay in the other room, the reservation was split into two when I arrived, and they told me that I had only booked one room. I had to look elsewhere last minute. Thought it was a fluke, but same thing happened at the next hotel, where the attendant found the second room under the other person's name. I have always had my reservation show up in it's entirety under my name. Must be something new with hotels.com (they kept telling me Expedia). Created unnecessary confusion.

While this is clearly not a newer building, it could use a lot more TLC. Tiny bathroom featuring a door that can’t be fully opened since it hits the tub. Toilet fit in against the tub and door. Floor needs to be thoroughly mopped.

All surfaces and floor were sticky. Most furniture was broken including vents of ac. Once we got into our room and checked around, commotion and arguing was happening outside our door so we did not feel safe to ask for a different available room. Woke up feeling sick.

This is one of the most worst inn I have ever lived. AC has huge noise initially I think I live in a some mechanic area. Nothing is available even a vendor machine. I have to drive 10 minutes to get a bottle of water. Nothing for the breakfast , only milk and juice, no bread, bagel, eggs, whatever make it look like a breakfast. Don’t go!

The lady at the desk was VERY rude! The TV has HORRIBLE reception so can't watch that. No wifi! The only ice machine accessable is down stairs by the office. You see two woman by themselves so you put them in a room at the back of the hotel and upstairs. We don't safe here but reservation made and already paid for. We use Choice Hotels a lot but will definitely be second guessing after this stay.

The positives: price was right. Room was clean. Tv had a sleep timer, lots of parking, breakfast, next door to ihop The negatives: bed was rock hard. Bathroom and toilet were tiny. Could hear noises in neighboring rooms and people hanging around outside their rooms. Fortunately they all went to bed when I did. Pool was closed. Check-in was painful. The kid at the counter did his best but had to reboot the computer in between check ins. I was #3 in line and took 25 minutes to get my key.
