Price was very reasonable, bedding and mattress were great! Staff was very friendly and informative.

Room are spacious for the price. The rooms lacks a sitting chair, other wise I would have given 4 stars for comfort. A good location as the plaza is a few blocks away. The on site Asian is very good.

This hotel was extremely basic and quite depressing. Shoddy repair in the rooms was evident. Bed was clean, as was the bathroom.

We were on the top (2nd floor) The top step is higher by
1 1/2 inches than the rest with no caution tape or at the very least a strip of reflective tape. I tripped on the top step and went down, After a week all the bruises are coming out :( As I stated, at least a warning. Our minds are conditioned to a gait with steps that are up to code :( Sorry but the girl at the front desk at check-in needs to work on her people skills and maybe smile a little :(

Lovely clean pillows and sheets. Missed a microwave for leftovers. Shower was a trickle. Won’t come back.

El Sendero Inn was an amazing experience. Very professional staff and the room had everything and more. I will rent a room here again.

This hotel is walking distance from the square! You have to pay for the parking, but that is better than trying to find a parking place downtown. The meters cost a lot! If you can find one, you have to walk farther than you would from this hotel. Lo

Still the best value and location of any downtown Santa Fe hotel. Easy walk to the plaza, restaurants, museums, Canyon Road, etc. El Sendero provides a very basic room, but the rooms are safe and clean, the price can't be beat, and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Santa Fe.

Great little motel in THE premium
Location to old Sante fe
Rooms were clean spacious, and the staff was absolutely amazing

It was a great central location, but inside of the hotel was so generic & cold, considering area is filled with art & colors. The young women at the reception were also less than enthusiastic. Would not stay again if had to choose.

The hotel is close, easy walking, to the Santa Fe Plaza area, reasonably priced and plenty of parking ($10/night).

Very nice, clean, safe venue with free parking in its own restricted lot.
One block from Loretto Chapel, TWO blocks from Plaza. Very walkable for 3 couples in our 70s.
Chinese restaurant is inside of check-in office - very good food, large menu and inexpensive!
Only downsides: 1) Two floors - no elevators. 2) Shower soap tubes very hard to get contents out.

Conveniently located. Clean room.

Sant Fe said is very bougie, I get enough of that at home. Go to Flagstaff for more fun and charm.

It was great only there for one night very nice and clean room. I was wondering why parking doesn’t come with it free like most hotels since I didn’t see much parking on the street. Other than that it was great. Thank You

Ideal locale! Accessible by walking - lots of dining, shopping and historical sites. The only two negatives - the walls(and adjoining doors that stayed locked) are thin. Guests next to oyr room were a bit noisy. And...the on-site breakfast place was a great disappointment, and not worth the price.

It was a perfect one night stay! The location was convenient and very close to many shops and restaurants! We loved all the beautiful flowers placed throughout the place.

Best place to stay to walk the downtown area with yummy restaurants just down the street.

A charming older property that has been updated. Love the flower baskets and plantings. Easy 2 block walk to old Santa Fe, restaurants and Governor's square.

I loved this little hotel. It is so close to the Santa Fe Square but with out the high prices of hotels 1/2 block away. I arrived in the morning and was able to pay the $10 parking fee to park my car and walk around the downtown area. I can also highly recommend 315 Restaurant and Bar which is basically in the parking lot. I had a delicious dinner there. I enjoyed having a little quiet time after a busy girls weekend by sitting by the pool. I only wish the pool was heated - it was freezing! (I stayed right after labor day so would expect the pool to be warmer - lol)

This was a great surprise! Right next to walkable historic district with shopping and dining options. Please was very clean and well maintained. Great value

Very pleased with the room and the location. Addressing the noise level: we definitely heard the person walking above us, but were already awake.

Excellent budget friendly option. Location is fantastic. Room could use a sofa or comfy chair. There was only one office chair in the room. Nowhere to sit and relax. Pool was clean. Property is well maintained. Walking distance to the square for dining and shopping.

Great stay. Only issue was that I had to pay for parking with a Visa card. My work card is a Mastercard. So I had to pay out pocket for parking when my room was booked with a Mastercard.

I had previously stayed several times at this property, when it was a different brand hotel, and it was OK - just a little dated. The whole property has been recently renovated and it is a very nice place to stay. It is very clean, with modern rooms, and the great proximity to Santa Fe Plaza and all the many enjoyable things to do there. The staff was friendly and helpful I will definitely stay at El Sendero again.

Ease of checking in, parking. Clean rooms. Coffee.
5.0 / 5.0
Easy checkin and checkout.
Room was serviced each day.
It was quiet. Staff was nice.
My only criticism is that the door to my room needed refurbished, because it was scratched up. The drapes needed to be replaced.

I didn’t realize this was a motel. The pictures made it look like each room had a balcony. During our stay when we were in the room in the afternoon a maintenance worker walked by and tried our door knob, which was concerning. The first night we were woken up at 5:30 to the fire alarm going off.

Should have assigned parking for the rooms

We were told complementary breakfast to find out after grabbing coffee it would be $8 per person. Front office indifferent. Breakfast run by next door restaurant. Just be aware not part of the hotel but it seems like it.
A bit pricey per night for a motel but comfy beds and clean.

Stay was nice but I can’t believe how awful the swimming lounge chair cushions were.
All torn and worn.
Shame! Shame! Shame

Centrally located. Accessible by Uber and Lyft. Parking is cheap and a plenty. Free colored and tea 24 hours. Chinese restaurant next door is good. Front desk staff are awesome, only downside is that housekeeping staff dont speak English.
3.0 / 5.0
Great location but facility is just slightly below average
No elevator!
Bedroom in the suites in the on the second floor has no air containing and the king bed touches the wall on one side, so difficult to get in and out!
The bed linen old and the comforter a little smelly
Bathroom shower floor slippery floor and in order to turn the water on in the shower, one has to get in, turn on cold cold water before it swings to warm!
Price for room very on each day with Friday teaching $420 during the peak season!
