Everything was wonderful, location, room, service. What was missing was an international tv channel - which in my opinion is standard for a 4* hotel. Breakfast eggs would have been nice as well. Other than that all great.

Hotel Goya is very typical in design for an Italian seaside hotel. Think “old world” charm. What sets it apart is the very accommodating staff and excellent location.

We just went to Forte dei Marmi and it was not too busy, it was actually very quiet which was great for us. The hotel location was perfect, so close to the beach and the town center. They also give you bikes to ride around the town for free with your stay which is a really amazing. Rooms and bathrooms are bit small but this is typical of Italy. The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I highly recommend it.

The Hotel Goya is not only perfectly situated near the center of town and the beaches, it offers the true flavor of Forte Dei Marmi—without being guilty of what most of the local businesses suffer from: pandering to the deep pockets of Forte Dei Marmis tourists and/or wanna-be (weekend) celebrities. Charming, elegant, clean, and professional: the Goya is the best value for my money.

The Hotel Goya was a very memorable place to stay. We were greeted by Emanuele when we checked in and he was very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Our room was very clean and cozy and we had a balcony which gave us a wonderful view of the sea. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the beach was within walking distance. The city was very clean and on Wednesday we discovered a flea market right down the street from the hotel. It was an exceptional trip and I would definitely return to Forte dei Marmi and stay at the Hotel Goya.

Hotel is quaint, but limited outlets,I have a cpap machine and it made things difficult. Thank heaven I brought a extension cord. The hot tub was broken and that was the main reason we booked the hotel. The hair dryer when I turned it on flamed red hot and sparked. The other couple we traveled with had issue with room. It smelled like a skunk and had to change rooms. The staff person said we can fix tomorrow but we were leaving next day and they couldnt sleep with the smell . Hotel is close to shops ,restaurants and the beach.

Hot tub broken. This was a whirlwind visit to Italy and, knowing that we would need to wind-down at this point, the hot tub was the reason that we chose this hotel. I also question the location of the hot tub as guests must parade through the dining room (where people are dining) to access the location. We know this because we were allowed to have a few drinks on the roof top where the broken hot tub is located. We also had a very strong, foul odor in our room when we turned on the air conditioner. The windows had been open when we arrived. I thought that airing the room might be hotel policy but, we were vacationing with another couple and their windows were closed on arrival and their room had no odor. When we reported the odor, we were told that someone would fix the air conditioning in the morning. It took a bit to get the staff to understand that we were leaving in the morning and to not move us was NOT a solution. We were finally moved to another room.Although the staff seemed courteous on the surface, I suspect that someone knew about the faulty air conditioner before our arrival. Some things to note: An extension cord is advised for people requiring machines for apnea. Of the several hotels that we stayed in while in Italy, only one had convenient outlets on both sides of the bed for such machines.Parking is on the street. A parking pass is given to hotel guests, but availability can vary.Local shopping & dining closed in afternoon until 7pm.

From the minute we walked in we felt welcome and every member of staff we had contact with just reenforced that feeling. The Goya may not be new and modern but it is charming, quite comfortable and wonderfully located for Forte dei Marmi.

Lovely, intimate Italian hotel. The staff is wonderful. The only change I would make is the pillows. They are way to hard.

The hotel is located just a few blocks off the main drag. Easy to walk to restaurants and shopping, the pier too.
We enjoyed the partially covered patio for drinks after a day of exploring the area.

Fab location and lovely staff. As you need a bike to be able to get around it was handy that you can rent them at the hotel.the only down was the breakfast as the out door dinning area was perfect we felt that there was not a big selection of pastries or even boiled eggs available but that would not stop us going again.

This hotel is good for its location, building is very old, but the people are nice compared to other places. Room comfort is acceptable.

The hotel is an older quaint hotel that is typical of the area. The older style rooms are clean but lack the modern fixtures and conveniences we have become accostomed these days. However the hotel is conveniently located and the staff is very friendly and attentive.
