Excellent hotel, in the centre of Florence, looks out over the river, & next to Ponte Vechio. Staff are superb, we were upgraded to a suite, which was excellent. Breakfast amazing, plenty of choices, we will definitely return to this wonderful hotel

If you want to visit Florence's historic sites, you cannot do better than to stay in this hotel. It is located between the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio on the Arno river. They have a rooftop bar with stunning views of the river on one side and the Duomo on the other. And just have a look at the amazing breakfast area! This hotel used to be a monastery, and has been renovated beautifully into a modern hotel with historic touches.

Location was perfect. Steps from the square where all the action takes place including museums and good restaurants. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I had to leave 4:30AM to catch an early flight and there was a box breakfast waiting for me at checkout.

The property seemed a bit dated. I understand that Venice is an old, traditional area but some updating would be nice. The bar tender was very nice and front desk help was good. Th room was a bit small but it worked for us.

This was a last minute booking and I didn’t have much time there due to an early morning flight. But the service was excellent, room clean and had all the amenities needed. Rooftop bar was a bonus with great views and of course an Aperativo. Would def recommend

Yards from the Vecchio bridge. Room was massive, staff were very attentive and the scenery from the the roof top bar was incredable

The staff was so friendly here and the room was amazing. This was a wonderful hotel and I wish we stayed longer. It was a perfect location. If we had a higher floor we would have been able to see the Ponte Vecchio, however we were only on floor 2 so we had a view of the structure that ran along the walkway instead, but it's ok. The complimentary breakfast was great, a large spread and tons of options. We would definitely stay here again.

The location could not be better to get around Florence. The staff very friendly specially Mirko who made our visit the best. The only thing is that parking is not a hotel one but the service is good and you have to know the cost would not be less than 35euros per day

Cute little hotel in the best location possible. Friendly staff, clean and not very pricey. The only downturn was water temperature wasn’t as hot as it should be for shower.

Location!! Location!! Location!! Can not beat this hotel for being close to everything in Florence. There is an attendant at night by the door to monitor which made me feel very good. Check in went well. We were upgraded to connecting suites. Rooms were clean with nice amenities-shower gel, shampoo, cream, robes. Water in the mini fridge. Breakfast offers a nice variety with good service. Staff is wonderful!! Bar upstairs on roof has good drinks -expensive. Lots of good things to say. Cons: the rooms are very odd. We were in their new section which required two elevators. Limited storage in the room -no drawers and on closet with attached hangers. Odd. Bed is HARD as are the pillows-sleeping on bricks!! Staff in bar is professional but not friendly. There is a feeling of trying to be a 5 star but not knowing what that really means in terms of service so it comes off as cold. Saw the head of the restaurant only one time during our 4 day stay. Food is tasty and pretty but not hot. Walking to the room is a struggle after a long day.

A fantastic hotel, located right where you need to be. Having evening drinks upstairs on level 5 and breakfast in the dining room on level 1 will stay in our memories.

It was a great place, they upgraded us for free and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable.

Fantastic location! A bit busy with Ponte Vecchio right outside the door, but being able to enjoy the bridge or historic skyline at any time stepping right outside the front door, or from the restaurant, or from the rooftop bar, was spectacularly convenient.
Easy access to sights and neighborhoods on either side of the Arno was wonderful and we especially loved the feel of Piazza della Passera where a trip down an alleyway just off the main roads (Borgo S. Jacopo or Via de' Guicciardini) seemed to teleport us to a different place!
We were unaware that this was the actual property featured in the movie, A Room with a View, and that was a very cool connection. Maybe we will stay in that room next time around!
Grazie mille!

Location was amazing! Very close to Ponte Vecchio and steps away from the Uffizi museum. But, was a bit aged and smelled musty. The worst part was the bed. That was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. It was lumpy in appearance and was hard as a rock. My hips still hurt. Also walls are thin and was kept awake by people coming and going all hours. All fixable things I hope they fix because the location is incredible!

Absolutely spectacular hotel! Location was great. I travelled alone with my 2 kids and felt very safe!
The rooftop terrace bar is a hidden gem and the breakfast, which was included, was superb! Very happy with this stay. We will definitely stay here next time we go to Florence!

The hotel was delightful in its proximity to the historic city center. We upgraded the room to a suite which gave us a living room for relaxation. The hotel's roof top bar had great views of the city and was a welcome respite for a glass of wine and beautiful antipasto. Breakfast buffet was offering was abundant and served in a grand dining room. All staff were cheerful and accommodating. We were very happy with our choice of the Hoel della Orafi for our stay in Florence.
