Arrived and was not initially told the property was under construction. I was also told the price but could do better online so I did. Once I made the reservation I was told the next morning someone would need to enter my room to set up a new WiFi router. I said no way. The very rude and unhelpful lady at the front desk said well then I can’t stay there. THIS WAS AFTER I MADE A HOTELS.COM RESERVATION IN FROMT OF HER. She made zero effort to tell me these things upfront. Construction said it was from 8am-5pm. Under my room at 5:15pm there is loud banging. I went down to reception and ordered them to refund my money. This is not the product advertised and I did not stay there. I need to get my money back from Hotels.com now.

The Holiday Inn was okay. However, my issue is with HOTELS. COM. Somehow the date was changed. I was scheduling to stay from Wednesday to Thursday, but the HOTELS.COM app changed it to Thursday to Friday. So when we arrived, I had to pay for a night to stay on Wednesday to Thursday. Thank you HOTELS.COM for making me pay for 2 nights. Please note: Due to this situation, I will never use or recommend HOTELS.COM again. Again thank you HOTELS.COM.

The hotel is under construction and loud banging, jackhammers can be heard the floor below. The toilet didnt flush right, and the pool was closed. I had to find another room down the street. Couldnt get out fast enough.

In the email to me, it said that the pool was available: one of the main reasons we chose it hotel. However, when we arrived, the desk manager failed to mention that the pool and hot tub were closed. The pool and hot tub remained closed during our entire stay due to a city ordinance violation. I would like a refund for false advertising and misleading expectations. Also, none of the info was posted on the booking page about the laundry facility being out of commission and the building being under renovations. I want made aware of this until after booking the non-refundable booking. Very dishonest. I would have chosen a different hotel had I known these things. Completely took the fun out of what would have otherwise been an enjoyable vacation. Refund requested emphatically.

This was a bit of a disaster if we would have know there was this much Renovation going on we would have canceled and stayed else where. But to give them some credit it will be nice when they are done but I am assuming so will the price$ but a great view. Just a tip I would have your Construction Manager check room 432 closet doors are not hung properly. Again great views, but check w Property regardless of how you booked your room. Nice Try !!!

The property is undergoing significant refurbishing but nonetheless is suffering from shortcomings—no working phone in the room, noisy air conditioning unit, mysterious water faucet. Probably better to wait for the construction to conclude.

Beautiful grounds. Loved the room with the balcony/ patio to sit out on and have my coffee in the morning with my Pup. Dog friendly. . They are remodeling now. Beautiful pool wish I had time to use it since I was just passing through I did use workout out room. Nice breakfast in morning. Would like to request bacon next time instead of sausage.

The hotel is under construction. We arrived very late like after 1230am. We got to our room, it was nice and clean. At 644 in the morning on a Saturday morning they started doing construction in the room right above us. Specifically drilling and hammering which was very very loud. I went to talk to the front desk who called maintenance who said there was no one there. So basically they gaslighted me. I went back to my room hoping since we complained they would stop- no such luck. So we left. A colossal waste of money. If I had known the hotel would wake me up after five hours I would have just driven the additional five hours home and saved myself 150 dollars. We specifically stayed here because we thought it would be quieter and is smoke free. No such luck. If you intend on sleeping in at all do not stay here.

Jeremy at the front desk was extremely helpful switching my rooms and very considerate when I was sick and ordered take out to the room. Highly recommend staying in their beautifully renovated rooms with incredible staff and sensational pricing.

The property is going through a remodel, and there is dust and supplies everywhere. The room we are in is in need of a serious remodel. We have a pet and they charge $75 for a pet fee per night, when most other hotels charge $25.

Checked in. Very nice and easy. Got to the room. TV did not work. Checked a different room, TV did not work. Turned down the bed to go to sleep and behind the pillows, the headboard in room 304 was all torn up. Very embarrassing for a hotel to have that. Both woke up with sore backs, so seems like the mattress should be replaced. So, on the whole very disappointing. Not really expected. All we needed was a bed and a tv and neither were very good.

This was your average American Hotel and room. It seemed like everything was average or fair. The price $130.00 is too much for what you get but it seems to be the same everywhere. The thing that bothered me the very most was they advertised themselves as being pl”Pet Friendly”. A sign on the front desk stated that there was a $70.00 fee per pet…not a deposit but a Fee. The front desk clerk was not happy with being there but I took a shot anyway and asked why if they were “Pet Friendly” was the fee so high. She stated that very few hotels in Mesquite even allowed pets so they could charge this amount and feel accommodating. I said boy that’s Big of you guys …please tell your Managers how little I think of their philosophy. I would never stay here again. What you get is average…except the Pet gouging which is so below average.

People who are complaining about the renovations need to chill out. I almost canceled my reservation because of reviews like that but truly beautiful hotel. Yes, it’s a work in progress, but that swimming pool and Are impossible to beat! Very quiet and comfortable beds… Felt very safe and enjoyed the Contin breakfast
