Lovely place could do with a bar at night tho for a night cap on the way back from the hustle and bustle of Prague. I enjoyed the walk to and from the centre
4.8
Very cute hotel in a beautiful location and with friendly staff.
I can strongly recommend it. It can however, be good to know that it's on a hill, so the walk from the city center to the hotel can be a little hard if you have problem walking. There is however a tram stop really close that's go directly to and from the city center.

When our taxi driver dropped us off he said “This is the best hotel in town.” While we haven’t stayed elsewhere in Prague, we think he’s probably right. Fabulous views, great area away from the madness (but near the Castle) and right next to the monastery and all it has to offer. Our room was a standard one, but very well appointed. The breakfast was lovely. A great value and unique property.
4.8
If you want a quiet and comfortable sleep, this hotel is your place. Next to the monastery and a park with a cafe that has a grand view of the city. Fresh air. Walk downhill to the bridge. #22 tram back if walking up undesired. Very helpful and professional staffs. Highly recommended.

I really liked the location, great view and very relaxing . Would recommend and Peter who welcomed us could not have been nicer.

Wonderful old building and a comfortable and spacious room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location… walking distance to the Castle, Old Prague. Small grocery store across the street, restaurants nearby. Great views behind the hotel or from its terrace of the City.

The staff was very helpful. Very clean rooms. Reasonably priced for the location. Loved the property and the overall experience.

The entrance to the hotel left us a bit nervous about our booking choice, but once we were inside we were warmly welcomed by Peter who offered us Prosecco while he walked us through check in and gave us helpful information about the property. Thank you Peter! The property is beautiful, and part of a monastery complex with extensive grounds which include vineyards, restaurants and beer gardens. You have the best view over the city and the river! There are bakeries and coffee shops right next door and the neighborhood has a lovely feel. The monastery complex is very historic and you can pay a small entrance fee to visit the world famous Strahov library and the beautiful Abbey. We walked from there all over town including to Wenceslas Square and the castle. We had an exceptionally delicious breakfast. The staff were all efficient, helpful and friendly. We loved our stay and would highly recommmend staying at this lovely gem of a property.
4.8
In the heart of the historic Prague castle complex. Only 5 minute walk to Charles bridge and 1 minute to the historic tram 42 route. Lovely place with modern equipment and room set up while you are actually staying in a former monastery.

The staff and breakfast were wonderful.

Good location, great service and wonderful breakfast.

Great place to stay in Prague, wonderful view from the breakfast room. Spacious rooms and really wonderful service all around. Highly recommended.

We fou d out that tge hotel was part of a monastry so on the last day we visitrd the monastry compound. The walk from the compound down to the streets has one of the best views of the city. The monastry library is great! There are books of 1200 years old, and I learned that scholars were experimenting electrical effects way before Edison and Tesla. Plenty of unplanned incidental findings since staying at the Questernberg. Final point, there slippers are made of valvet kind of material in roral purple, and come in various sizes. I couldn't resist so I took 2 pairs home as sovenirs.

We stay here about 10 years ago and had a wonderful stay so we did it again. The hotel was under new management, but still very nice, although previously breakfast was included.
The location is excellent and the staff was very nice, especially Peter who check us in and actually walked us to a wonderful restaurant for dinner our first night. What service!
4.8
Great stay and affordable for the area.

The hotel is clean, quiet yet only 5 minute from the castle and from a tram stop. Ideal if you don't want to be directly in the city centre but you still want to be in a convenient location. The staff we always helpful and polite and overall our stay was pleasant and good value for money.

What's not to like about this place!! My wife and I visited Prague for our anniversary. Since several days before our arrival, the staff was already in touch ensuring that our accomodation was one to remember, and so it was! Both Mari and Andrew were extremely helpful and met every request we had. The hotel has so much history to tell and it is very cozy. Public transport is only a block away, but I'd recommend to just walk as the scenery is beautiful! This would be our hotel by default when visiting Prague again!

This is a very comfortable, very clean hotel with fabulous service in a terrific location! Located seconds from the tram that takes you to the center of old town and with the most amazing views of Prague. The breakfast is expensive but worth every penny!

I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Questenberg in Prague.
The room was on the smaller size but very clean. The king bed was very comfortable though the pillows less so. There weren’t any personalized touches added, but the staff were very quick to respond to my correspondence prior to my arrival. The room had a smart tv with all streaming apps and there was a decent amount of storage space.
The hotel is located at the top of a picturesque hill close to Prague Castle and about a 15 minute walk from the Charles Bridge. It is a bit of a farther walk to the Old Town Square accros the river where many tourist attractions and restaurant options are located, but I really enjoyed walking to and from the hotel everyday as it is so incredibly picturesque and the area near the hotel and nearby monastery are a lot more quiet. It is near a couple of tram stops as well which is very convenient.
I would recommend the Questenberg if you are looking for a more traditional, historical feel to your hotel and room.

Normally when I stay in a hotel there is always something left to be desired, even if just something small, but at Hotel Questenberg I can honestly say everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, the service a class above, tiny details were just at the right level to make it a special couple of days and the breakfast was excellent. The location is ideal and the view spectacular. We were genuinely sorry we only had two days here and this is one of the few hotels that I would actively seek out to stay at again.
4.8
The attention was amazing, the hotel is so wonderful, great location because you can buy a ticket from the local transportation and move around with it, the employees of the hotel where so helpful and have great recommendations, the breakfast was wonderful, FOR SURE staying there if I go again to Prague.
4.8
One of the best places out of the whole three week trip! Our room was so beautiful!! The hotel is convenient to most of the sights. You do have to walk a bit or there is a tram you can take. I would definitely stay there again.
4.8
Like the location amazing view from hotel. Property and room was very nice. Utilized private parking spot around 20 euro a night very convenient. Didn’t have any food at the property. We took the 22 tram up to Brusnice one stop past the castle and walk down via Novy Svet several times. The walk up Wasn’t bad good for us to get steps in. We stayed three nights and will definitely consider again next year.

Hotel Questenberg is a quiet, elegant small hotel in a beautiful area of Prague, within easy walking distance of the Castle and various other attractions. Breakfast was delicious, the staff was dedicated, friendly, and professional, and our stay was perfection.
4.8
Our stay at Hotel Questenberg was fabulous! Such a lovely location on top of the hill overlooking the old town, especially with the gardens and monastery next door. The room was well appointed and the breakfast (including the view) was 6 star! All of the staff were very welcoming. A highly recommended place to stay!

Elegant and historic without being stuffy. Highly recommend.
4.8
The property itself is a heritage site, whereby the neighborhood is full of attractions and friendly shops and cafes

Excellent hotel and location

Great stay!

The room has the unexpected dips and steps under the carpet, Beth room is sink one inch under the main room which makes you trip and fall. At the checkout you being asked for additional 50 krone per day for some kind of city tax that wasn’t informed.
4.8
Terrible customer service. Do not stay here.
4.8
Andrea and Sergei at reception we're both really great. They treated us with the upmost respect and professionalism. Breakfast was really great, super service and many choices from ala carte and buffet. I highly recommend.
4.8
Great staff, very good value.
Not the view we expected, but... that was ok.
4.8
Wonderful hotel, one of the most comfortable which I have been, safe, kindest, gentle, high quality experience, For sure I will come back if come to Prague.
4.8
All of the people associated with the hotel were fantastically warm and helpful. The building itself was charming and felt secure, though we never felt that we needed the security, per se. The neighborhood in Hradcany was very nice, and the hotel was very close to a tram stop, making use of the already great public transportation system in Prague that much easier. The rooms were very reasonably priced by American standards. The view in the adjacent Perrin park was splendid. It was easy to acccess not only the park and the metro system, but walking to the city center was also easy. It was far enough out of the way to not be in the middle of the main tourist throngs, but close enough that you didn’t feel like you were in the suburbs. All in all, a great place, and I’d easily recommend it.
4.8
Very nice hotel. Quiet location up the hill a bit. Nice views of the city outside the hotel. Loud monastery bells early in the morning.
4.8
Sergei was very accommodating!!! He welcomed us like family and answered any questions. We ate at three places he recommended and all were exceptional.
4.8
Like the old charm of the rooms and the history of the building. The best breakfast and view of any hotel in Prague. The friendliest staff to be found in any hotel. Not overbearing, but there when you need them most. We have been staying at this hotel for several years now whenever we visit Prague. A bit out of the way of the center of town, but the pluses of this hotel far outweigh this one and only negative. And besides there is a tram stop only 100 meters distance from the hotel. Very convenient.
