Poor service, rude staff, better options for the price in gillette

The hotel is clean but and the counter lady that checked us in was polite the only reason we gave it 2 stars . However we did have to wait at the front desk for 30 minutes until we were checked in with no one there. The rooms are new and clean. No amenities ~ such as coffee, or mini fridge. It’s bare bones.
Check out is at 11am, some aggressive angry woman starts pounding on your door before 10am. My kid spilled a bit of juice on the bed skirt. We tried to inform the front counter as we left but again there was no one there. They charged me $75 for the bed skit and lied and said we got it on the mattress when we slept with our own blankets and never even unmade the beds. I called twice to rectify the situation and the manager said she would call back which she never did.
Shady hotel ran by even shadier people that definitely need a nap ~ if you catch my drift.

Baseboards were falling off. Mold around tap for tub. Water was turned off without warning. Could draw in dust on aircon. Stain on sheets. Noisy fridge. Receptionist had "I hate everyone" t-shirt. Heater had bad smell. No extra toilet paper and we ran out. Ran out of food for breakfast. I would never stay here again, especially for the price we were charged.

There’s a bad smell in the hallway. Bathroom and sink are too small. You can hear the noise from the other room. The dryer is not working properly in the laundry room. The dining room is also way too small. The customer service is just Ok. There’s one time you can’t find the person in charge in the front. It took a long call to get my refund for my unused one night stay. Aside from that, the hotel is just ok.

This place is the worse. They took advantage that the Camporee was being held here and they increased their prices to an outrageous price. The place was so filthy. Bed sheets dirty, bath tub dirty, washer and dryer were broken, refused to refund the money. It was one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in.

**A Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Hotel**
I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. My experience was nothing short of terrible, and I would urge potential guests to think twice before booking.
Upon arrival, it became clear that the staff at this hotel lacked professionalism. We discovered that the bathtub in our room was dirty, with visible mud, which was extremely off-putting. When we informed the front desk and requested cleaning supplies to address the issue ourselves, they shockingly admitted that they had none available.
The situation worsened when we noticed the refrigerator was also filthy, containing hair and other debris. Although we reported this to the front desk, it took them an entire day to send someone to clean it. Such a delay in addressing basic hygiene concerns is completely unacceptable.
Our troubles didn’t end there. Due to an impending storm, our event was canceled, and we decided to check out early. I informed the manager of our early departure and explained the situation, but I was met with further disappointment. After returning from an errand, I was told that I had missed the check-out time by a few minutes, and they insisted on charging me for the additional night, despite the circumstances and the issues we had encountered during our stay.

When I got to the property, they told me my Expedia reservation was cancelled, and wanted to up-charge me after agreeing for a more reasonable rate on Expedia.

When we arrived at 4:30pm the rooms had not yet been cleaned. We waited until 5pm when we were told our room was read. We found a used bar of soap and shampoo container in the shower. A hair was on the toilet. The free breakfast the next morning was a joke, not nearly enough food for the customers. Waffle mix was empty. Eggs and potatoes disappeared in 60 seconds then people waited for 15 minutes for another batch that disappeared again in under a minutes, consumed by just the first few in line. There is no breakfast room. You eat in the lobby.

The sleeping area of the room was clean but the bathroom was dirty. Didn’t even use the shower due to the ugly stains. Needed maintenance to come look at toilet. He was efficient and friendly. Very uncomfortable with area and other people in the area. Erratic behaviors left a feeling that illegal actions were occurring.

One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The fridge was not working, had old food in it and some pink liquid dripping from the door when I opened it. The bed sheets had multiple stains all over them!! We were in shock at this. Needless to say we slept on top of the covers, using our own blankets and even put what we hoped were clean bath towels over the pillows. We had planned on showering but when we saw the condition of the place, we skipped it. The floor was sticky too. We couldn't wait to leave the next morning.

Front desk staff were quite helpful at check in.
Room smelled musty and bathroom lights strobed for a bit when tuened on. Faucet handle for the sink came off in my hand when turned on. Bathtub had a weird ring, almost like something caustic that took the finish off the plastic insert, did not scrub off. Shower drain exceptionally slow, water over my ankles by the end of a short shower.
Bed was very uncomfortable.
Coffee was very weak for breakfast.

Decent bang for your buck. The staff was awsome. The lobby was incredibly clean the guy cleaning it was doing a great job. Room was clean bed was comfy. Bathroom needed a deep clean tho there was hair and black dota on the shower that as soo as we scrubed it with our finger it came off. It wasnt fully as described but sufficient for a grab ans go with an egg dish thing and hashbrowns. The sauna wasnt working but the gym seemed clean. Good selection of toats and yogurts with a waffel maker and juices. All in all we would absoloutly stay jere again.

Staff were friendly and quick in was easy. Room was clean. Have had a poor experience here with room being dirty in March 2024 but this time there were no issues besides food left in the fridge.

Nice friendly staff at check in. Weather was not so good though since it just hailed when we arrived. Room was overall comfy and clean and the AC worked! I stay at the Baymont every time I’m in Denver so my hope for this location were high, and I am happy with the chain overall.

The room was supposed to have a king bed with a couch. No couch. And no other rooms available in the whole city. Anyway the lady at the front calls “the manager” this manager says there’s nothing they can do go buy an air mattress. Then proceeds to put me on a guilt trip saying “look my daughter was just killed and her 3 month old baby”. That got me thinking……She then talks to the lady up front again and I guess there is a room that has a broken door so they say we can have a mattress from that room. They did end up getting us rhat mattress for the floor. She probably said the thing about her daughter cuz I said “would you seriously let you child just sleep on the floor when she is playing softball in the heat all day tomorrow” (The floors are hard wood). It do know for fact it has been 2 years. I can’t imagine what she is going through with her child and grandchild being killed no matter the years that go by but in no way would I ever exploit my deceased family members to justify bad customer service at my job. I understand she isn’t the owner but this issue still needs to be fixed. In no way when I select 4 people for a room. Children or not should those rooms be an option. The owner needs to fix this issue ASAP

I booked through Hotels.com when I arrive around 9 o’clock the evening of my reservation I was told that my reservation was canceled because they overbooked and they had to cancel five other rooms as well. I was not notified of any changes as I would’ve chose a different hotel among the way to stay, every hotel in this time was sold out . I’m not sure how they picked and choose who was going to get a room I do know my reservation was well over 24 hours in advance and pay for. I had no other funds to get another hotel for the night and my refund was gonna take 7 to 10 business days, I sleeping in my car with my children. My youngest son ended up having a seizure and we had to be to Denver Children’s Hospital. That was the main reason I needed a hotel for medical reasons and I could be able to assist my son as possible if anything occurred unfortunately I did not have that opportunity as I was turned away, and my reservation was booked without notice , I will be seeking a lawyer at this time to cover all medical expenses due to Negligence of the hotel
