Enjoyed our stay, very clean room and comfortable bed.

Overall, it was good. We couldn't get in to our room as we were 15 minutes early, and the restaurant was closed for dinners. Also, it's only plastic cups in our room, but the bar was helpful. I would definitely stay here again..

Found a coach roach in room. Moved to different room found coach roach shell and very dirty heating thing didn’t seem like they swept. No immediate resolution till Wednesday to see what they say

Pool is in poor condition and was filthy with black dirt on the deck

The hotel is close to restaurants and main shopping mall. Room was dated but was very clean. Hallways look dated and carpet needs to be cleaned and walls repaired. Service at the front desk was okay. Service at their restaurant was excellent (friendly/helpful) and food okay. In the day, was most likely a beautiful hotel.

Very clean and neat, But had no warm water for a shower for 4 dats, they tired hard with maintenance and they came but in the morning for 4 days no warm water, they offered to move me a few times which was fine.

The bed was old and lumpy. The bathroom fan was moldy and dusty, the toilet was leaking so it ran all night. We tried to have a friend come up for drinks as we were visiting the city and they don’t let visitors in after 11pm and were quite rude about us trying to bring our friend in. We were quiet and respectful but we are a young couple who live outside the city so finding time to see our friends is a juggle.
The pool area is awesome for an older hotel. The slide is lots of fun, the pool water is a very comfortable temperature. This is a great spot for a young family or even young couples just looking for a getaway but maybe splurge for a better room? I’m not sure.
The evening staff seemed grouchy/tired but the day staff were lovely.

Nice having a restaurant and lounge on site. Another plus....next to Red Lobster and Olive Garden.
Polo park mall is across the street.
Jets game was a 15 dollar cab ride or dame for Uber.

The front desk personal in the evening when I checked in and when I left in the morning were very helpful and informative. I ordered room service and the lounge worker Robin was also very helpful and kind. I stayed in a king size bed room which was huge however the electrical outlets need to be updated to accommodate USB function. The room was a little dated but very clean.

Floors were ultra dirty.
Paid extra for Executive suite and it was no different than a standard room.

The hallways were filthy room was not very clean windows were all full of fingerprints, bathroom was old and not clean, there was a hanger under the sheets in one of the beds, fridge and microwave were dirty and all lopsided

The hotels quality is very run down, it was however very clean, but door handles were off kilter, with a big hole around the handle for the bathroom. Bed was very uncomfortable and caved in the middle, very springy. When I rent a hotel I want a comfortable bed, the rest doesn’t really matter, for that reason alone I will not be going back.
The hot tub jets were mostly all plugged and only 3 out of the 7-8 were working. But at least it was very clean

We have stayed on numerous occasions in the past with this hotel. This time our 1989 esque mattress rendered both of us with back pain as a daily occurrence. The lady who checked us in wiped down our cards with cleaner prior to touching them. She also wore gloves and did not inform me that I was allowing a 200$ deposit that would be returned when my room was declared damage free upon checking out. I found her inability to communicate rather distressing. The pool and hot tub are very nice and warm. Someone needs to clean the darn walls as they are very dusty and look very poorly like the storage room you see informally thrown along the side of the third floor pool. It looked messy. I think there are some upgrades to your beds would be nice. Dont tell you renovated when you have had the same damn mattresses since Bon Jovi did the New Jersey tour in 1992. Wont be staying again until they do something with their sleep comforts.

Didn’t sleep at all, highway and air traffic is loud

Room was clean and spacious but view was of a storage hallway. I could not open my blinds or see outside (view was old mattress, furniture and storage).

I booked a room for a return to Winnipeg and chose to prepaid the room rather than pay on arrival. This was to insure the room was available after being 12 hours in transit. Our flight was arriving late. We arrived at the hotel to find out the manager had canceled my reservation. This was just before 1 am. I was told to contact Expedia for the reason. The hotel did not offer an explabation or an apology for the inconvenience. As the room was already paid for it is my position it should have been availabe until check out time at 11 am. We left the hotel at this point. They did not offer another room. I contacted Expedia who contacted the hotel and obtained my refund. I will never book at the Viscount Gort again. The service at the front desk is terrible. I will continue to use Expedia partners as their service has always been great.

Beds are lumpy, had problems with the toilet the entire stay, the carpet in the hallway smells.

Booked through Expedia/Hotels.com. Chose Hotel as stayed there in the past and was able to leave car parked for two weeks as I was also booked at the hotel on return. At check-in, I was informed this courtesy was not extended to those who book through Expedia. I was also told that this service had not been available for four years. This was not true as I had accessed this option previously. I was finally offered the option to park at $15/night. Chose to go to Park and Fly. Cheaper and reliable.

They put me In a room with a pool view to start with . I asked to change rooms because of the view then a couple of nights later there was fruit flys in the bathroom so they finally switched me room to another room with no view at all what so every and it turned out there was more flys in that bathroom also . So I just checkout late at night

The lobby looked very nice but the first room was given to us was dirty, the bathroom floor was sticky. I asked for a new room and they moved us to a nicer room but the bed was so uncomfortable and the noise from the traffic and the plans I don’t think we slept very much. The staff was very nice.

Stayed here for one night, room was adequate although the traffic noise was a little loud. Average hotel, decent value.

Not clean, outdated and high 'damage deposit'.

Love the stay but didn’t sleep well since people were screaming in hallway but the staff were exceptional with service

Dirty stained chair in room, lack of furniture! Small room odd room with vinyl flooring.Child size desk holding up a small tv. The view from our pool balcony looked down onto a hallway below of old furniture storage and throw away stuff, an awful eye sight! If it wasn’t so late when I got there I would’ve run I did not feel safe in this hotel at all with the bar and lots of creepy drunk people out the doors.
2.0
Very dirty everything, the only advantage is being closer to Polo Park mall

I do like the flooring in rooms…cleaner than carpets..good choice

The indoor pool and hot tub were very warm. I really enjoyed them. The pool was like swimming in a bath tub, it required no getting used to, and I was in for quite a while with no chills. If I go back it will be for the pool.
2.0
Front desk staff were not friendly or helpful in the slightest, they were actually rude when I called to inquire about a receipt. Hallways smelled like pee. And pool was very warm and disgusting.

Didn’t expect my credit card, but they charged for my booking and didn’t get a refund!
