That was the scariest experience of my life

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms. There was stains all around including what looked like bloodstain on the lamp also just the whole hotel was dirty and loud. It felt pretty unsafe and just not a comfortable place to stay.

The room was clean. The property and front area were disgusting. Front doors were locked open and in morning they were smashed all up. It was 8 am and no cleaner expected till 10. The front desk clerk was awesome but I feared for her. If your importing in staff which they are then brin in enough to staff properly. One employee should not be alone at anytime which was visible to the eye with many street people hanging around, which I understand them being there due to our government and their need to starve us out but at least have security to guard the staff. The hotel 2 doors down does not have this issue. We were i the back corner ground floor and the grounds were covered in glass.
Honestly the one gal at desk was awesome and understanding and the room was for sure good and clean.
Would I recommend for a wearly string male traveller its okay BUT A FAMILY ABSOLUTELY NOT

Wrote wrong room number .. people were already in that room …

Not clean, the furnitures need to follow safety standards. The room I stayed had sharp edges due to different size of mattress and base. I asked for an extra pillow but they could not/ did not provide after frequent asks. I won’t suggest families to stay there as it has a pub and kids will see a lot of drank people around.

The parking lot is littered with garbage from the homeless drug addicts that are everywhere, inside and outside the building. The door safety locks are falling off the door. The room smelled horrible, it was a smoking room, i booked a non smoking room. The furniture was very old worn out/broken. The tv image had a cloud that covered a quarter of the screen. The toilet seat was almost completely unbolted. The shower curtain had holes in it and was not long enough for the shower rod that was ready to fall off the wall. The suites plumbing above leaked into my bathroom. They only provided one bath towel and one face towel that were so old you could almost see through them. They did provide a complimentary breakfast if you don't mind that your breakfast ambiance is comprised of previously mentioned vagrant drug addicts, i chose to every meal off property. My rating would be 0 stars if it were possible.

Overall stay is good. The only concern I had is there are too many homeless people around the property and sometimes knock the door. Rest, in queen bedroom there is plenty of space.

We stayed one night at this motel. It is conveniently located and the price was right. Bonus was a free breakfast. Staff was helpful when needed. Sheets were clean and bed was reasonably comfortable. Room was fairly clean as was bathroom. That's being said, there were lots of areas where maintenance and extra cleaning would make this a better place to stay. For example, the air conditioner was working but wasn't making the room cold, So I pulled out the filter and it was caked in 1/4" of dust. There are a lot of people who are not staying at the motel frequenting the parking lot, and I would say that it did not feel particularly safe as a result.

This property is beyond terrible. We got out of the vehicle and 7 people were smoking in the entrance way....should be many metres farther away. An undesirable male sitting on the other door entrance begging for money, food or whatever you could give him. Very scary moment!!!
We went into the building and the front end staff sit in a plexi for their safety. I mentioned to the girl at the front desk and she said security would be starting soon.
We went up to our assigned room and immediately felt so ill at ease. The pictures on the walls were ripped down and only had one towel offered in the room. My husband immediately said we couldn't stay for our own safety and the shear neglect to the rooms. IT WAS SCARY!!!!
i WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. THE PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED. SHAME ON EXPEDIA RECOMMENDING THE PLACE AND SHAME ON THE SITE FOR CHARGING ME MONEY.

The area around the hotel had a very unsafe feel to it. No hotel service to clean our room and change the towels during the day. While we were sleeping, people kept trying to open our door, but beds were ok.

We did not stay a single night at this hotel. We checked out immediately

The property itself was not great… my original room smelt like dog, staff upgraded me to a suite with a jacuzzi tub and the tub leaked and wouldn’t fill, moved me to a 3rd room and that room was good! Property itself is in disrepair and needs to be tended to…. The front desk staff did everything he could to rectify the issues. Great work by him!

This was a disgusting hotel, right from the start of walking in there was people drinking mouth wash outside the door. Then as I check in at my designated time I was told my room wasn’t ready and that I would be offered an upgrade. The upgrade was a jacuzzi suite that didn’t have a plug nor was it cleaned out. I felt the room they gave me should have been out of order .. yet they gave it to me anyways. The door didn’t lock and I had to have maintenance come up to help make it lock again.. there was no working phone to call down to front desk. I had to use my personal phone, which the front desk never picked up anyways. The shower barely worked and it didn’t drain.. I felt that previous guests bath water or plumbing was coming back up .. needless to say a shower was less than 2 min. Room itself was completely dirty and had dirty bedsheets.. I slept in my cloths on top of the bed. The solutions made by the hotel was to offer a room not at the same value and on another floor.
After seeing the full conditions on this stay you would have better conditions in a homeless shelter than paying $100/ night at this place. If I could offer .005 of a star I would. No compensation has been offered.
Hotels.com was USELESS to also deal with on this matter. I went through 4 different staff on a chat who stated everything from wanting to call me to ensure a solution was made to not doing that to saying there is nothing they can do as it’s all now at a hotel level .. be aware on using this app

First impression when we walked in: sketchy. There was security in the lobby and for good reason. The hotel has a loud bar in it which we could hear clearly from our room. We could also hear the people passing gas in the bathroom below ours and doors slamming in the hallway all night long. (The doors are very noisy) Our room was very warm but turning down the thermostat did nothing. I think it was broken. When I called the front desk all they could suggest was to open the window. However, our window seemed to be directly above the bar entrance, so the loud music and various types of smoke just wafted in. We actually ended up running the air conditioner all night—in December!—just to battle the relentless heater. At shortly after 3am a loud knock at the door had me out of bed and when I poked my head out a security guard knocking at another door down the hall said “Sorry, wrong room.”
But it wasn’t all bad: The bed, while initially seeming unimpressive, turned out to provide a relatively comfortable rest. When we weren’t being woken up of course. And whatever staff we dealt with directly were very friendly, if not always helpful. The “continental” breakfast, meanwhile, was actually a menu of full breakfasts. Good news if you’re a big breakfast eater like me, but you might be disappointed if you’re looking forward to something lighter.

Everything was fine

I liked the location, staff were friendly
But, the room was very dirty, the keylock on one access did not function because the doorframe was damaged, was unable to get facecloths for the entire stay, very noisy both from guests and the poor soundproofing in an older building.

I was at hotel on businesses . Average 3 star accommodation. Room furnishings were newer with LCD TV with good cable TV selection. Carpet had stains. Need carpet steamcleaner on call. Had undisturbed sleep can't say that will be everyones experience.
Nearby access to multiple restaurants, pubs, stores, theater.

Check-in was difficult. Many people were standing at the entrance, loitering. They were not checking in. The staff behind the desk seemed to struggle with the English language; therefore, requests seemed to be challenging to understand. No quiet hours at this hotel. Clearly, they were not observed or enforced if they had quiet hours. Rooms were below average for cleanliness. The shower head leaked excessively, the linen was like using sandpaper, and the toilet paper was "paper" thin. Food was acceptable at the local establishment that is/was attached to the hotel. The fixtures were dirty in the main part of the room and in the bathroom. The beds were quite uncomfortable and I wonder if the pillows could be any smaller. The TV was ready to fall over as the bolts for securing it to the mount had fallen out, the lamps by the bed were clearly broken for some time with no attempt to repair. The deadbolt did not want to engage as the holes did not line up. Needed to lift up with great force on the door handle to get the deadbolt to engage. The curtains were dirty and literally hanging on by a thread. Had I known this is what I was paying for, I would have made arrangements to stay somewhere else. The only positive thing I have to say is that there are plenty of places well within walking distance to eat.

The room was supposed to be non smoking but smelled like smoke.had to febreeze and burn candles to cover the smell. The sheets had blood stains on them. Didn’t notice until the morning or wouldn’t have stayed. The furniture was flimsy, coffee tables in suite room shook. The bathing towels were no bigger than hand towels. Will never stay here again. Was written up as a king size bed ended up a queen. Top 3 of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in.
2.0 / 10.0
The first room was dirty. Toilet was running, sink was clogged with what looks like puke. Washed hands and it started to float up into the sink. Floor was sticky. Windowsill was full of dirt. Box spring mattress had dirt on the top under the main mattress. We went back to the front desk and were given another room. The second room was a lot better but had its issues as well. The shower curtain rod had screws missing from the top which allowed the rod to tilt down. Not a big deal unless you took a shower, you had to keep closing the curtain as it would slide open every 10 seconds. Toilet paper rod was missing, but there were toilet paper rolls there to use. Location of this Hotel was questionable. Had to keep looking out the window to check on our car because off all the bums in the area. When we checked in, the cops were just arriving to arrest a guy that was covered in blood with no shirt or shoes. Then another woman was being kicked out and making a huge spectacle as she was being escorted out of the building. The hotel can't do anything about the people in the area or the people that cause trouble in their building. I see now why they had 3 security guards on site. They do however have the responsibility to keep their room Maintenace up and clean. We won't be staying here again. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. I thought the Ramada had a standard to live up to, but I guess that's not the case in Prince Albert. Staff was great and helped out when we needed it.

Do not book or stay at this hotel unless you smoke a pack a day and frankly don’t care if there is old rotting food on the carpet, and flies in your room, and zero screen on large parking lot window. This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever walked into. Thankfully the staff at the front asked me to view room before paying! Do not book this hotel.
