Reception staff are fantastic. Alwsys a smile, torally professional and very helpful. There is no orher hotel in Spain with such amazing Receptionists. Room was immaculately clean. Everything is 200% and more. Thank you David and Ruthie.

This is a lovely hotel, we usually stay at the Meliá but checked this one out on our last visit. We were very disappointed to have been put in an attic type room on the 4th floor, we asked to move and were given a better room but still on the 4th floor. The issue is that you have to get the elevator to the third floor, then quite a walk to a staircase where you have to heave your luggage up and down a flight of stairs. The pool and bar are on the 4th floor but cannot be accessed from the rooms, you have to go down the stairs to the third floor, then get the elevator up to the pool on the 4th. Finally, the maid kept taking my wife’s key that we left in the room card slot, also turned off the AC, and did a very poor job of making up the room. We were really looking forward to this hotel but I’m afraid it’s back to the Meliá for me.

Wasn’t offered my upgrade for being a gold member of hotels.com but was given the smallest room. No view, tiny basic room, little storage, bathroom shower has been used and not cleaned. Toilet tool wasn’t new roll, had used tube of conditioner opened and left on side. Towels were thin and bad quality, and I can’t be certain but I found hairs in my bed and don’t think it had fresh sheets on. They were wrinkled and looked slept in. Not impressed at all. I booked another night on check in and now regret it. Also no VIP axels voucher offered or any perks ,, really wanted to love this place. But at over €330.00 a night for a tiny basis room I’m very very disappointed. Air conditioning wast up to the job and the the gentleman they sent to replace the shower gell didn’t speak English so I couldn’t explain the problem. Finally the phone by the bed kept beeping on and off all night to a stage I just had to unplug it. Noise from sweet steepers at 5 am also just made it worse. So so sorry but this isn’t a 5 star room or service. I travel the world in 5 star hotels. This except from the lobby. Wasn’t one

Nice location, design is cool. Bathroom wasn’t clean when we checked in, there was black hair on the shower walls and in the bidet. AC could only do -5 of 5 degrees C and not a specific temperature, and it wouldn’t go below 23 degrees during our stay. Sunbeds at the pool could be improved, very uncomfortable with no cusions. Service was good. Room service quick. Very good breakfast.

Reception is on the ball. Nice touch for a glass of cava and thank you for upgrade.Room was very nice , comfortable and modern. Linen and towels top grade. Rooms need a bit more thourough inspection by management. As toilet door was out of the guide rail , wires hanging out of television. Settee faces away from television seems odd. On our floor there was sand outside the lift for 2 days. All little things but for 5 star needs more attention. The water as a leaving gift especially eco friendly was a very nice touch. Thank you to all the staff we know hotel work is tough.

A modern hotel in a perfect location of Allicante, helpful staff, spacious and well designed rooms. We enjoyed our stay and liked everything about this hotel except that the air conditioning is centrally controlled so you cannot adjust the temperature in your room.

DO NOT STAY DURING THE SUMMER! What a really lovely hotel. Stay is good. The location is second to none. Bed is cozy. Love the shower/bath combo. However, they do not allow you to cool the room lower than 24° which is ridiculous. You have to keep the curtains closed at all times - even if you have a view - to try to keep the room as cool as possible. (24°C=75.2°F) So, it is not good for cooling off from the outside heat and humidity and it is not good for sleeping. I checked twice with the hotel and both times was told that it won’t go lower, but that it might cool down more at night. It doesn’t! Absolutely ludicrous to restrict your guests from having a cool room when on summer holiday.

Rooms on fourth floor do not have elevator access, and require a climb up a long flight of stairs, which I found problematic. Service at front desk is spotty, and check in is estraordinarily slow. Tiny pool. Otherwise the hotel is an nice area.

Beautiful room, very big. Lovely big and comfortable bed. We had some black hairs in the room, who were not ours and the sink of the bathtub did not work as it should. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace is wonderful, with a great view, great spot to catch some sun out of the wind. Sauna is separated for men and women but nice and clean. Most off the time you have a ‘private’ sauna.

Everything good except the bath/shower. To get in and out of the bath to have a shower was far too dangerous and difficult for a person in their 70s. This needs an urgent redesign. Less important -was enormous chairs taking up too much space in small bedroom. But overall we loved this hotel.

Had to ask twice for coffee pods, and the staff were very apologetic. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms were delightful. We had a couple back masage andbit was superb. Locality of the hotel was excellent.

We stayed for 4 nights in a suite at this lovely hotel in Alicate. This was soon after our hire car had been broken into and all our stuff stolen. The staff were very helpful and sympathetic, and we appreciated leaving our car in their secure garage. The suite was very clean , with lovely sofas and comfortable beds. The hotel is very central in the old town, well placed to visit the castle and churches.

This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Alicante’s “old town” the staff is welcoming, professional, and helpful. Our room was nice and comfortable, but had a couple quirks. It was up a winding stairway, with a shower whose temp regulator had a mind of its own, and where the frosted glass door to the toilet was hard to close. But these are really not-picky details that do not diminish the overall quality of the place. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very convenient and walkable to shops, dining, sightseeing and the beach. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. The one issue I had with the room was when you are wearing the hotel slippers the bathroom floor can be very slippery so you have to be careful. The buffet breakfast has many offerings and was very good. I was very comfortable here and felt safe. We were not prepared to be told when we arrived that the hotel parking was full which at first was inconvenient but the staff quickly directed us to a public parking garage that was a quick 5 minutes walk and half the cost so in the end it was better for us.
