First of all I made reservations and they canceled my reservation as I got into town, then they downsized my room and charge me more money than what I had in my reservation and they inconvenienced my guest causing three to one bed had to go through construction area no elevator and the dust triggered my asthma

I rented three rooms for business. 2 of the suites were fine, one of the suites had a pedestal sink and that didn't go over well for the guy who was staying in it. I didn't know some of the rooms had pedestal sinks otherwise I would have requested not to have one. This should have been made clearer.

Ran out of food at breakfast at 830 .Hotel had no hot water ,no one could take a shower that morning .Hotels response was sorry nothing we can do .Have stayed here many times but this was my last one.

From the time I first arrived at mu room there was disturbance upstairs above me, bumping, knocking, and heavy moving. I ask the front desk for another room because of the noise and I was informed that they (contractors ) are working on the whole third floor. This information should have been provided prior to my stay and I would have chosen another hotel

All in all our stay was pretty amazing. The hotel check in process was quick and easy, the staff was cheerful and friendly, helpful and amazing, the room was clean and well maintained, breakfast was served and was great. There was a LOT of furniture trash stored outside around the pool, but they were very clearly doing some upgrades which were occurring during our time there. I stayed with one other adult, four kids and a dog, we had no issues with their pet policies or coming and going BUT, I strongly suspect they have an infestation of bedbugs as we all left with bites covering our whole bodies. These happened during sleep not while out and about. All six people are covered in the same bites.

There is a cleanliness issue. We found hair in the bathroom sink. The mattress pads weee dirty. We also had roaches. The staff was ok. The were polite but it wasnt genuine. The breakfast options were good.

The room was quiet , temperature was perfect and bed was so comfortable not firm like most hotels. The room didn't have a bathtub but shower was nice. Breakfast was very good had many things to choose from. Hotel is not fair from the beaches, shopping or tours. The people that worked there were friendly and knowledgeable. The parking lot was clean and well lit Felt safe inside and out. I would recommend this hotel and the price was reasonable too. Next visit I'd like to try out the pool. the

When asked about room service not being done the first evening, we were told you had to request service. Made the request and still no service the next two days. Most unfriendly, surly staff I have ever experienced! No one at the front desk smiled or said hello at anytime after we checked in. Also upsetting is the fact that Platinum Members have parking spaces closer to the entrance than the Handicapped!

For a one night stay on the eve of an extended vacation on HHI, this hotel serves the purpose. I don’t understand the relatively low reviews. There is nothing special about it, but it’s not bad either. At $188 a night, it would be overpriced if at a different location, but this was Bluffton in the middle of the summer where people from all over are coming to vacation. Prices are at a premium. The breakfast was “meh”, but the hotel is conveniently located, the service was good and friendly and the rooms were clean. That’s all we wanted.

Great people and not bad of a location but the room we got was very humid and muggy, AC took all night to cool and due to this it was very difficult to sleep and get rest. Fridge leaked and stopped working then started working again in the morning only after food got warm.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the accommodations. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was pretty good. And the hotel is located in a very convenient location with pretty much everything you need is within 10 minutes. However, I have a 3 out of 5 stars for two reasons. 1. As others have stated, my room had a very damp, musty smell. By day 2, I had a migraine that just would not go away. And 2. If a coin operated washer and dryer is available, it would seem fitting to supply your staff with quarters or have a coin machine. I drove around for a half hour trying to exchange my bills for quarters. Finally, I ended up at a laundromat and used the coin machine there. Had I known that that was what I would have to do, I would have taken my dirty clothes with me and just washed them there.

Hotel was fine, the lady at the front desk was WONDERFUL and extremely attentive when we asked to move rooms due to the couch in the old room being wet still from cleaning. She was great with our kids and friendly even at checkout in the morning. Good for a night before checking into beach house the next day.

This is a really noce hotel. Ducked off in the corner and lots of shopping and eating in the joining parkkng lots, staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! The room was very clean and comfortable! Will definitely visit again!

We booked 1 night at this hotel and it was awful. We are a family of 5 so this room was suggested by Hotels.com because it had a sleeper sofa and therefore, could accommodate our family. Upon arriving for check-in, we were gteeted by the employee, who was friendly and given two room keys. When we first entered our room, we wete greeting by a combination of a damp, moldy smell mixed with a strong Marijuana smell. We had some body spray so we sprayed the room in hopes of making it smell tolerable. When we went to get the sleeper sofa ready, we noticed the sofa was heavily stained and had dirt/debris on it and the cushions were not fitting the sofa properly, indicating the couch mat be broken. We went ahead and attempted to open the sofa bed. What we saw next, was absolutely disgusting and appalling. The mattress was completely missing and the sofa bed was covered in heavy, crusty stains ALL OVER! By this time, it was almost midnight so we were stuck and out of options. We got very minimal sleep due to the people in the room directly above us, stomping and running back and forth across their floor (our ceiling). When we woke up this morning, there was a water leak and paint was bubbling/peeling. We paid $300 for this room and it was absolutely not worth it. Very disappointed!

The room was not a suite with a king bed sofa bed. Area completely empty where sofa was pictured. Pool area did not have any lounge chairs as pictured. There were "stools" we were told to use instead. Big water leak from room above us where the shower or tub was overflowing. We could see a ceiling repair had been done in the past. Housekeeping blamed all on the renovation, but was nasty when we asked for a different room, as we were not confident the water leaking would not return. Housekeeping was rude and said there was not a single unoccupied room in the entire hotel and got in my face demanding to see confirmation that we had reserved a suite. We agreed to stay the 2nd night as it was Sat. and we were unsure how long it would take to secure another room. Later in the day, I looked online and saw availability in EVERY level for this hotel. Not once did she say SORRY. Later, I asked the front desk if there were available rooms for Sat. night and he said yes. I was late in the day and we had been working on the island all day and just were not going to start the process. When we checked out the following morning, I inquired about a price concession for all of the above reasons. The front desk person, Edwin, was very polite, but said we would need to speak with the GM, who was not there. He also said Expedia would need to make any adjustments to the bill. I find it frustration that there is no phone number to reach Expedia. VERY disappointed in so many ways. Pls call me.
