We use this hotel as a stop over when we use the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff. This is the second time we have stayed here and it is an ideal overnight stay. It is only a short drive from the terminal, parking is available (best to book in advance to guarantee a space and there is a charge), rooms are nice albeit on the small size and the breakfast option is nice. Very short walk to the centre of Saint-Pol-de-Leon with restaurants and bars.

Beautiful hotel, perfect for our short stay. Warm welcome, super comfy beds and a beautiful room which let us all stay as a family without compromising privacy

Wonderful room, hotel and staff, in a beautiful area. Would certainly visit again.

We had a brilliant one night stay here before our ferry to Roscoff. The hotel has some limited parking which we were able to book in advance, and was handy knowing we had a space secure before turning up - however there is also some limited parking on road outside the hotel and plenty of car parks a short walk away.
The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant upon arrival. Our room was clean and very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bedding smelt lovely and all of the party had a good nights sleep.
In the room there was a handwritten booklet including things to do in the area, WiFi code, and local restaurants which was useful. The WiFi was quite slow but passable for basics.
The hotel feels safe and secure and is very quiet, no road noise. It is a short walk away from the town and restaurants - however going in April on a Tuesday night there were a lot of restaurants closed so food options were limited, the hotel does not have a restaurant but does provide breakfast.
Overall our stay was fantastic and would not hesitate to stay here again next time we get the ferry.

Lovely property but everything in the town was shut and it was Saturday night, nowhere to eat. But it was very quiet and had a great nights sleep.

The hotel is small and charming, the staff solicitous, the room more than adequate, the breakfast well prepared, the neighborhood quiet. While the hotel is outside the center, it is just a 15 minute taxi ride away

Stayed for one night after arriving in France on the Plymouth to Roscoff ferry. Ideally located hotel just a few minutes drive from the port. Small but clean and comfortable room. Hotel has parking (for a small fee), is on a quiet side street a short walk from bars and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definately use this hotel again.

A very comfortable and convenient hotel, especially when using the Roscoff ferry port whichbis 10 minutes away. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated and the owners are charming and professional.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Would stay here again if we're in the area.
Our only problem was the difficulty in finding a restaurant open for dinner.

Great location for night before early morning ferry. St Pol de Leon has a decent choice of bars and restaurants and Hotel de France is as nice as it looks in the photos run by a very pleasant and helpful couple.

Superb hotel in the centre of the town but very quiet with fantastic garden to sit in and enjoy a cold drink or a hot one.
Neat and tidy rooms breakfast was lovely because of the superb weather we ate out on the terrace overlooking the garden.

Very easy check in on our late arrival. The comfort room 104 was perfect overlooking a lovely garden. Everything is clean and all that is needed for an overnight stay is provided.
Breakfast in a lovely bright room and is excellent.
The owner/manager is a lovely man who takes care of his guests extremely well.

Just an overnight stay before we got the Roscoff ferry next morning but we wish we could have stayed longer in this secluded hotel. The building has been tastefully renovated and is now a desirable place to stay in an ancient and interesting town. The gardens are another plus point. Service at reception was also excellent.

Charming hotel with a very pleasant garden. Very friendly staff and welcoming. Breakfast good and we were able to eat outside in the sun. This was our 2nd stay here. A variety of restaurants/cafes within walking distance in this beautiful town.

We stayed one night in the ground floor family room before a morning ferry. The children are in an adjoining room on comfy bunk beds. The bathroom is huge and spotlessly clean with lovely facilities. The hotel is modern, elegant, charming. The breakfast room had a beautiful view onto the garden and the breakfast itself was delicious. I wish we had had more time there. After 10 days camping this hotel was blissful. The manager was very helpful. Absolutely recommend it.

A lovely hotel in the centre of St Pol de Leon.
Very well updated, very comfortable, charming owner/manager.
Slight drawback is the absence of wi go on at least the second floor - there is some on the landing, as was pointed out to me!
Otherwise, recommended if you need to spend a night near Roscoff, although the town seemed very quiet and rather sad with many empty shops.
I was told that it becomes busy from 15th June!!!
