I’ve loved the Protur group of hotels for over 30 years now.
Their staff are amazing, I always feel welcomed and safe which is important for solo travellers.

They makes the tourist happy and very satisfied as it’s very accessible for everything, very attentive staffs and very helpful and polite and the location is very close to the beach and public transportation and the area is very safe and lots of things to do to spend your vacation, I can truly fully recommend if you plan your holiday go to Da Coma playa Hotel and spa

The hotel was beautiful, clean and well looked after. The staff were all amazing - every single member of staff went above and beyond to ensure guests were happy. The room was modern and stylish. The food was very good for an all inclusive, with a lot of choice and fresh options. My children were very happy eating there every meal.
The location was ok, approx a 15 min stroll past shops to get to the beach, & the beach was beautiful. Sadly, the cost of sunbeds and umbrellas was extortionate (36 euros for 2 beds and one brolly!) so it made it a little less accessible. I knew the hotel wasn’t on the beach when I booked, but I hadn’t thought about the cost of hiring stuff there for the day.
I may have misread the property information, but I booked this hotel thinking there was a swim up bar and water slides. It turns out that both of these are located in the ‘water park’ that’s in a completely separate hotel (around a 10 min walk) & you have to pay for it even if you’re all inclusive. This was the most disappointing part of our holiday as I specifically chose a hotel with water slides. Due to the distance and cost, we only visited this ‘water park’ once and there was literally 2 little slides for my children (aged 6 and 8). Had I known that’s what it was, I would have never chosen this hotel.
Overall, due to there only being 1 pool onsite for my children to use, I would be unlikely to come back with them. But the incredible staff and amazing food made it a great stay!

Very clean hotel and the room we had (a Suite) was very modern and well laid out. The food in the main restaurant was generally tasty, but an increase in variety and the introduction of themed nights would be a welcome addition. Also the restaurant was very warm.

Great bedrooms, we stayed in a suite with 2 children and it was the first time staying away that we all slept in our own beds! The food was basic and no Spanish dishes and the pool turned our swimming costumes green but if they had a more varied meal choice and sorted the chlorine of the pool it would be amazing!

Modern rooms with minibar which is included in the all-inclusive option. Close to shops and some fun activities to do.
Only gave 4 starts because of the pool water though: everything that was white turned yellow (inside of swimming pants, apple watch wrist band). Hotel explained it was because people didn't shower. Never had this happen anywhere else so I'm my opinion this has something to do with water quality or algae.

1st time there, but was wonderful place to go there with kids , food was great with plenty of choices, walking distance 8 min from sesaide, shops, market or some restaurants around, bus stop to take you in aeroport, was closer . so everything was good.

The staff are very friendly especially the people at reception. Special regards to the wonderful miniclubstaff. The kids loved them. Improvement can be done for the buffet. Options can be better. More or less same ootions everyday. Plastic cutlery and glassware needs to be available in a family friendly hotel. Overall we would like to thank the staff and I will recommend the hotel to friends with family

Beautiful property and facilities

We recently stayed at Protur Sa Coma in a town that epitomizes the mass tourism experience — from sunbeds reserved with towels early in the morning, to identical kiosks lining the streets. Our experience, unfortunately, left much to be desired.
We booked a double room, expecting two separate rooms as shown in one of the pictures online, but were given a single room instead. This was particularly challenging as we were traveling with small children and were not allowed to bring any food into the room, which made snacking difficult.
Upon check-in, the staff failed to provide us with the necessary bracelets for our all-inclusive package. This oversight led to us paying for drinks out-of-pocket, which the hotel refused to refund. Moreover, the all-inclusive package was underwhelming, offering little more than the three main meals, with no additional food options available throughout the day.
The children’s pool was not heated, which was a problem for my son who couldn’t enjoy it during the first few days of our stay due to the cold water, until the weather finally warmed up.
Overall, our stay was frustrating and did not meet our expectations for comfort and convenience, especially for a family trip. I hope the hotel takes feedback seriously and improves these aspects for future guests.
This review clearly outlines your grievances while maintaining a professional tone.

Very friendly staff. Good variety of buffet. Price/quality is oké.

Good accommodation and activities. I would recommend this venue but NOT if you want a child free holiday as there were loads of children when we went. But the adult only pool area was a good help.

I like: comfortable room, staff friendly and helpful.
I don’t like: no sustainable approach to environment.
Towels have been changed every day despite not being thrown on the floor, temperature in common areas was really too low (even in the room on our arrival the air conditioning was set to 16 degrees…)
In 2022 what are you doing for challenging the climate change?!

Very good Dinner, but the quality of the dinner was Not so good as in the last year. A Problem with the W-LAN got solved after we asked for 3 Times. The employees at the reception did not react very friendly at this Moment?!? In the end they manage to solvent the Problem but the way was to Long. I felt bad in that discussion not treated like a hotel guest

A 9 day break with friends.
Hotel staff very helpful, hotel clean, room was very nice with a good sized terrace with a slight sea view!
We were half board but we chose to eat out quite often
breakfast was poor. Waited ages to get coffee and food was not great quality. Juices watered down and not a great selection of fresh fruit
Booking system to get your allocation for a la carte restaurants was poor. No choice on nights, it was 'pot luck'
Evening buffet was mixed and we chose to eat out most nights at the biomar spa hotel (at extra cost)
Overall nice aspects but food disappointing

Pros:
- Hotel itself and rooms very clean
- Staff mostly friendly (but not more compared to other hotels this class and as stated in other reviews)
- Many activities offered at the Protur complex
Cons:
- Wifi VERY slow, many times no connection at all
- Walls in the hotel room seem to be very thin, so it can get very noisy in the rooms sometimes, esp. in the morning
I mainly chose to stay at the Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel & Spa because of the many very good reviews. Maybe I had too high expectations but considering the very high price I paid (160 E/night for half-board) I was very disappointed.
The hotel itself, its facilities and the rooms were nevertheless very clean. The room inside was nice, one problem was the balcony facing the road to Cala Millor, so it could be noisy sometimes with the cars passing by. Other problem was that the walls of the room seemed to be very thin since you could often hear the doors of other rooms slamming when they closed. Also in the morning at around 8 when the cleaning staff began its work it sounded like someone was moving out because you could hear the noise of moving beds and tables. So if you want to sleep in during your vacation you should beware of that in this hotel you cannot sleep longer than 8 am.
Most members of the staff were friendly but not more friendly compared to other hotels this class. Breakfast and dinner were decent with several choices of food but again nothing special, except the different dessert variati

Sa Coma Playa is having a makeover so it should be even better next year, hope they put more showers around the pool and get their bar and waitress to cheer up a bit. Food was interesting, some things can't be cooked for large numbers and left waiting to be eaten, but overall huge choice for everyone. Brilliant place for all ages, lots of families like us with tricky teenage ages, so they had a good time. No crude images around, or other sights you wouldn't want impressionables to see. Evening entertainment was ok, but there are other venues nearby to visit, short walk to busy but gorgeous safe beach. Few local shops and cafes, local launderette was a good find 10 euros for large amount of clothes. Great time, really hot. If you hire a 3 or 4 persons bike - hairy on main roads!!
