Lovely hotel. Weird drop off spot. Ask about it. Located on city square. Several stores there -monoprix, Galleries Lafayette.

Amazing location and polite staff. Short walk to shops. Lots of lovely cafe bars around the front of the hotel. Carpark is ideal under the hotel. Lovely location will stay there again.

I would go back! The rooms with balcony over the square are worth the extra. Hotel is generally tired, clearly was high quality once, but general areas dated. Rooms and ensuite had been updated and was 9f a high standard.

Breakfast in the room was great. Air conditioning most welcome. Again couldn’t get parked because our car has a top box. Managed a space outside the hotel. Felt the Hotel was secure and ideal for a city stop. Location great. Would have gone to the busy street for dinner had we known. (See pic) Nice bathroom/room.

It was in an excellent central location with easy access to the key sites. The only real negative wasthe very popular coffee bar at the enrance to the hotel which was over priced with very poor service and full of smokers day and night. The buffet breakfast was very poor value if you were vegetarian or vegant there is an excellent pita pit to eat at at the rear of the proprty that has excellent fresh vegetarian and vegan options. The hotel room was small but adequate although the design of the bathroom was poor with a glass door meaning that use at night meant the light would disturb anyone else sleeping .

Very clean, and processes related to COVID appeared safe. However, building is tired, and considering so few people were staying the little things could have been attended to with more detail - room service breakfast not arriving until prompted on each day of stay, charge to upgrade to balcony room even though full amount paid with very restricted service.

Great room, but shower doesn’t keep water inside shower area. We had water all over the bathroom floor. Comfortable shower though. The cart with 3 wheels led the luggage to fall off, but fit inside the elevator. The more practical carts with 4 wheels hardly fit in the elevator! Rooms are great. They also should warn that the elevator always stop at the reception level.

The hotel was good, however there was big works just in front of the hotel, down the room windows. They started to work using big machines at 7.30am :-/ hopefully I didn’t planned to sleep all morning long.

The hotel is at the place de la République, that is under construction, very hard to get to. The public parking that is next to the hotel is in terrible conditions. It was very hard to get an opened restaurant because it was Sunday. The hotel needs renovation because it looks very old. The staff was friendly.

After touring through many beautiful towns and villages in France, Limoges was a bit of a disappointment, it isn't the prettiest of cities. That being said the hotel was nice and clean in a central position, good for business travellers.

I have stayed in this hotel for years going to Limoges...the hotel has done all the renovation, it was great value for the money !

The hotel was fairly easy to find with sat nav and parking is relatively easy either in the under ground carpark or if you lucky at the front of he hotel. The reception was very welcoming and their English was far better than my rudimentary French. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, including my own! The only down side was a small toilet and and shower screen over the bath, which let me drench the bathroom when I had a shower. The only other slight surprise was the hotel had no food facilility other than breakfast, however walk out the door and there are several restaurants to choose from. Overall I would rate this as a great hotel to explore limoge for a few days or an overnight stay on your trip south.

French chain hotels are exactly noted for their modern look and feel but the Mercure in Limoges was a very pleasant surprise. Great location, nice rooms with good facilities and pleasant staff. No English speaking tv channels was a bit of a pain but hey ho and having to pay for wifi is very annoying but minor gripes really. Will definitely stay there again should we be passing through.
