The hotel is a small nice one, perfectly located, lots of parking around, helpful staff.
We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor, so far all good, good size bed and clean, provided with nespresso coffee machine and the basics of what you need for a couple of nights stay. The downside of the room is the size of the toilet, bathtub/shower very small and an annoying plastic curtain that sticks to your body!
There is no mini fridge in the room, which could be helpful to have in the summer, and no kettle.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and a good breakfast.

The staff was very welcoming and the front desk spoke English which was very helpful. Went above and beyond helping us find out train information for moving onto our next destination. Room was very nice, clean, and quiet area so we got much needed R&R.
4.2
Although the room was pleasant amenities were very poor. No internet, no tea/coffee making facilities. Area very noisy with nightclub close by even with windows closed which made the room very warm. Front desk staff were very friendly.

This is a nice villa in the center of town, close to everything, beach, dining, shopping. Limited on-site parking, reserve early.
4.2
Excellent location in the centre of Trouville. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Staff vwry friendly and relaxed.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Le Fer a Cheval. Staff was very friendly and the hotel beautifully decorated l, and in the heart of Trouville. Highly recommended
4.2
Bathroom was poorly designed, as could not sit properly on toilet because of a wall. Not enough room for my legs!! In quieter rooms, wifi is not strong so you have a choice of quiet or good wifi due to the mlocation of the central box for wifi.

Hôtel du fer à cheval could have been perfect if they had air conditionning.
4.2
Perfectly located, basic room with the most comfy bed!

Three enjoyable days in Trouville-sur-Mer. Beautiful coastline with stunning houses. Seagulls were very noisy! Hotel in great location but our room was 'compact'!

Overall good hotel and within a few minutes walking distance into center. Lots of restaurants around. Hotel is quite small entrance off Rue Victor Hugo not on it, less easy to find.
However, no parking available, have to use metered or if you’re lucky there are a few precious off street spaces free but walk for 5-10 min away from town.

We were welcomed and treated well by a lovely staff. The stay was delightful. I recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel on the coast while on a visit from the U.S. The hotel was steps from the beautiful Trouville beach and restaurants. It is a typical European hotel in that there is no AC and the rooms are on the small side but it was perfect as the windows open fully out onto the side streets to bring in fresh air and the sounds of the seagulls day and night. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Fer à Cheval. They welcomed us with our frenchie pup and always with a smile! The hotel is conveniently located a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Trouville is a very special place and Hotel Le Fer a Cheval is a very special small hotel.

Very nice, clean and comfortable, perfect location

Fantastically convenient location, close to bars, casino, and the beach. Small but comfy and well kept bedrooms with a really good shower.

Beautiful, historic property. Great service, grounds, food. Stayed two nights as part of Backroads Bike Tour.

We had a very good stay at the Hotel Le Fer a Cheval. The hotel staff are very helpful and the room although not large was comfortable and well decorated. The bed was a little firm for my liking...

Enjoyed stay. Good spot. Prefer tea coffee facilities in room plus basic toiletries.

Very enjoyable experience would highly recommend The staff are brilliant

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. They also spoke good English. Great location within easy walking distance to the town and beach. Good value for money and would definitely stay there again. Wished we had longer there, but our flight with Flybe was cancelled and so arrived a day late!.
4.2
Delightfully helpful and friendly team in a perfectly comfortable and convenient overnight stop, tastefully decorated and well presented. Unusual in that it has a car park in a town centre location. If in Trouville would definitely stay there again.

First the picture has been photo shopped to give the illusion that this is a stand-alone hotel. It is not . It is jammed onto a side street corner and is difficult to find. There is little parking (3 cars) but street parking is available after 1900. The breakfast was expensive and there are no amenities in the bathroom.
4.2
The hotel is comfortable, but with few amenities. The staff was very accommodating. Parking is difficult. One generally has to park on the street, and it is difficult to find a free space. However, in the paid lots nearby by the casino, the parking is free between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.. The bathroom was modern and decent sized. The bedroom was small and the room had no air conditioning, although one could open the windows to permit a breeze.
4.2
Excellent small boutique hotel close to the fish market inTrouville. Friendly staff and lovely clean and stylish room. Parking limited to just 3 spaces so you may need to polish up on your parallel parking skills to squeeze into a tiny space on the street. Only negative would be the noisy floor boards - a consequence of being in an old building perhaps?
4.2
Very helpful staff at reception. Room comfortable but small. Noisy neighbours with barking dog. Breakfast extra but very good. Location perfect and able to walk to restaurants and shops.

We don't like to be right in the thick of things - and this was the perfect hotel for it. Located just off of the main strip in Trouville, things were easy to get to and far enough away that we weren't hearing people coming back from the casino at 4AM at night. The two women who run it (sisters?) were so incredibly generous with their time and gave us great recommendations on restaurants and even looked up train times for us upon our departure. If we ever go back to Trouville (from NYC) we will definitely stay here. A gem for sure. We didnt use the breakfast service (there is a boulangerie a block away) so I cant speak to that but the Wifi worked on my husbands cell phone just fine. *disclaimer - we live in NYC. so this hotel didn't feel very small to us as we live in a large studio. We didn't spend much time in it either so didn't have a problem with the size. in a town like this, you aren't going to want to be inside much anyway. Also, we obviously speak English and the women spoke some, too. Made it very easy to communicate.
4.2
Good clean hotel - room a bit on the small side but bigger rooms available. Would definitely come back. Good value for money.
4.2
Staff were excellent and helpful. Good choice at breakfast. Would have preferred a larger room but OK for 2 nights.

Our family stayed two nights in this charming hotel. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is near restaurants and the beach. The hotel is well maintained, rooms were nicely decorated in neutral colors and were very clean...nice bathrooms! A hidden gem!

This was the third visit of my wife and I to this conveniently situated and spotless hotel beside the seafront, river and town, our fourth to Trouville. The hotel has recently been renovated to a high standard that makes it just as good, if not better, than some three star hotels we have experienced in France. The welcome has always been warm and we always feel a tinge of sadness when departing. It is definitely one of those little gems that one comes across from time to time and can be recommended without hesitation.
4.2
Its a wonderful little hotel in the most beautiful part of france. Great location but should be signposted better.
4.2
the main desk lady was of no help when we tried to get any type of information. With "translation book" in hand we had hoped to try ... but her hand went up and all she said was "no English!" The place was neat & clean, smelled a little like a barn due to their carpeting. Expedia is the best!

Bon rapport qualite prix. Location tres bon.
