We’ve stayed at San Niccolo many times, and we keep returning, so we can recommend it. I do wish there was an option for coffee before 8:00 am.

The hotel doesn’t really have a pool or facilities on site instead you have to walk to another hotel they own and it is use by appointment only
Not what was advertised or concluded from their hotels com pics

We’ve stayed here several times over the years and have always been happy. Our room was, as ever, comfortable, large, beautiful and clean. We appreciate the extremely helpful staff…a shoutout to Josef who was incredibly helpful by finding a farmacia and scheduling our return Covid test appts. The breakfast is quite good and the Covid policy is practiced.

Lovely room, fabulous staff. Hotel decor just beautiful.
Bathroom small, shower tiny, and air conditioning not very efficient so it was stifling at times.

Stayed 2 nights in May this year and another 2 nights in July; the fact that I returned speaks for itself. Radda in Chianti is a beautiful small town with easy access to Siena and San Gimignano.

the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are wonderful. Excellent location.
I recommend to go to the hotel restaurant, the Spa (at other hotel) is also nice, the pool (another hotel) is not a must .

The hotel is lovely and in the center of town. Rooms were large. The bathrooms were modern and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. It was an excellent experience.

Wow! What a gem this was! Such a beautiful building and the city is so charming. I loved the old world charm and the rooms were huge! Huge shower for Italy! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were so accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfectly situated in beautiful Radda, we have returned year after. From room comfort, cleanliness and beauty to the helpful staff and good breakfast selections, this hotel is fantastic and a favorite of ours. We highly recommend it. PS...there is also a lift.

Classic old stone building turned hotel. The hotel is in the middle of radda square and a perfect location. Quiet, rooms are interesting as there are old castle type walkways.

The hotel is right in the cente of Radda and breakfast can be eaten on the central square. You also get the use of two sister hotels, one of which is in lovely countryside with a pool. Radda is off the main Chianti route and near to wonderful places like the Badia di Coltibuono where we spent time on a wine tasting tour and had lunch on their terrace with amazing views. Radda is a jewel and the San Niccolo a great place from which to enjoy it.

A lovely stay in Radda, with the hotel in a central location. Friendly helpful staff made the stay more pleasant. Only thing that could have been improved was the bathroom

Very nice hotel in the centre of a wonderful little town.

We were given a suite with a comfortable sofa and chair in a separate room, as well as a second bathroom. It made the stay very comfortable. The reception area is sparse but the upstairs sitting area is beautiful with an interesting history. Parking is outside the city walls with many stairs to climb. Breakfast is average. The town is small, very clean, with interesting stores.

Incredible Tuscany location. This hotel and sister hotel Leopold is fantastic. Staff superior. Bed mattresses need replacing.

When I arrived at this hotel for check in I was told that it was temporarily closed and my booking had been transferred to a sister hotel, the Palazzo Leopoldo, about a block away. The booking was successfully fulfilled by Palazzo Leopoldo. If Hotels.com would like, send me an email and I will post a review of the Palazzo Leopoldo.

Charming hotel in the heart of Radda. We spent one night in this hotel a couple of weeks ago during our several-week travel in Italy. Radda is a very small town, so the hotel wasn’t hard to find but you have to be prepared to work on a parking issue,if you have a car. There is no parking at the hotel; however, there is some free parking available in the area, some closer, some further. The young man at the reception was reasonably nice and helped us with the suitcases. Generally, we liked the hotel – the room was clean, big and comfortable; the bathroom was rather spacious. We were on the second floor and were lucky that there was an elevator (heavy suitcases). The breakfast was excellent – coffee was delicious (of course, you’re in Italy!), the home-baked cakes were really good, and there was plenty of food to satisfy different tastes and needs. There are several restaurants, bars and taverns close-by; just keep in mind that some may not re-open for dinner until 7 p.m. We would stay at this hotel again, if we happen to be in the area, and will recommend it to others.

Radda is a lovely little town. The hotel was very accommodating to my family. My parents had a lovely suite overlooking the rear garden. The location could not be better for exploring all the prettiest towns in Chianti.

The hotel was set in a beautiful village situation, which was a good central location to tour the Tuscany area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were lovely. Well kept and with good facilities and accessories.

A Gem in the little town of Radda in Chianti. Right across from the townhall and the church. Beautifully renovated and lots of character. Small but fancy bathroom with terrific shower. Breakfast was not included in the price but worth every penny - around 10 Euro. Delicious !

We stopped at the hotel for two nights while driving round Tuscany and Umbria for a fortnight. It was easily the best we stayed in (and by no means the most expensive). We could not praise it highly enough. The service was fantastic, the breakfast excellent, the hotel attractive and right in the middle of a lovely little town. We'll certainly return.

A really lovely peaceful place. Our room overlooked the historical square & the church. Breakfast was served outside in a hidden courtyard, we could have sat out there all day ! Small but everything we needed. Very smiley staff.

Our first time on booking through Expedia, so were a little unsure of what to expect. This was a fantastic holiday, a beautiful little village in Tuscany (although hard to find!), and an absolutely wonderful hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the hotel exceptionally clean, and a great buffet breakfast. Would definitely go back there again.

The hotel has been updated and was very centrally located. We walked to the restaurants in Radda (there were several to choose from) and the hotel staff was good about recommending places to try. They also offered free internet service which was a plus.
