Great for us. Four friends on bikes needing a good bed and this worked very well. Staff very good, bar great overlooking the sea, nothing to complain about. Close to the town, would recommend.
2.5
Friendly helpful staff, comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
Bathroom rather cramped.

This place is fabulous - so good I did not want to leave. We had a large room with a balcony and sea views. The bed was comfortable and there were coffee making facilities in the room. We also had a mini bar. The staff were wonderful. What more can I say - we will stay here again.

Thankfully we upgraded to a seaview room with a balcony, the views were well worth it. The size of the room was fabulous. the staff were friendly and efficient.

Right on coast with lovely views. No restaurant but choices nearby.
Comfortable room with tea making facilities.
WC room was very small but you don't spend too much time there.
Lovely stay,would go back.

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the bay. No restaurant at hotel and cliff path down to St Quay was closed for repairs, however we enjoyed our picnic on the balcony with local langustines brough from a poissonerie at St Marc just round the coast.Breakfast at hotel was v good, with plenty of choice of local produce

The hotel lived up to our expectations in every way with very comfortable beds and superb access to our room by a level path and a coded lock door to our corridor, an excellent idea. Besides which there was a conveniently placed lift . The step up from the bedroom to the balcony needs consideration as it is high and there is no handgrip to assist you, also the step has an unfinished external projection in concrete which does not help. A well made metal step was supplied immediately when I mentioned the problem at reception. Part of the excellent service. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this well-situated hotel.

Wonderful views from the sea rooms and the breakfast terrace. The but is that there was minute cupboard space. This is odd, because many visitors, like us,are travelling and staying in France for some time, and therefore carrying a lot of luggage. The fascinating Oriental style tower abutting the hotel, which I learned was built on the instructions of a diplomat, has no connection with the hotel;disappointing.

Lovely Hotel and friendly staff! The only downside was a lack of air con in the room!

Hotel and facilities and staff were generally very good indeed. However we had issues with entrance and exit. Couldn't get into the hotel when we arrived at 11.45pm - front door locked - nobody at reception - they'd forgotten to phone us with the entry code for the front door... Also, very fortunate hotel didn't catch fire while we were there - the emergency fire exit next to our room was chained shut and padlocked...

We had a room for a family of 4, for 4 nights at this hotel. The room was very big with a separate area for the children to sleep and a walk in wardrobe. We had our own balcony with an amazing view over the ocean and Ile De La Comtesse. The room was very clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. A 10-15 minute walk to local restaurants, where you have to eat in the evenings as there is no restaurant at the hotel, and only a couple of minutes to the bakery in the morning if you don't want the hotel breakfast.
Lots of free parking available and we felt very safe.
Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We will definitely return here. Peaceful, clean and friendly, beautiful views, large airy room, location is great to walk in both directions along the coastal footpath or through the streets. The small beach below the hotel is worth the climb (steps) however there are more lovely ones nearby with easier access. It is a great area to visit with good restaurants. We visited the Ille de Brehat from the quay at st Quay Portrieux which was worth doing. The hotel has a large car park -perfect holiday!

The hotel was spotless the staff were friendly and helpful and the scenery is stunning! The only thing I did not like was the breakfast. The food was fresh and looked good but It was overpriced for what you get. We opted out of the breakfast the 2nd day and walked into town for breakfast.

The only fault we could find with this hotel is that the hair dryer wasn't as powerful as the one we have at home ! We would also urge the hotel to make the balconies non-smoking as well - as smoke from other rooms can drift about. Beyond that an absolute cracking hotel, very peaceful, slept with the windows open so we could hear the lapping of the waves. We'll be back !

Wonderful location with very pleasant staff. Perhaps we should have asked for more information about types of room before we booked but we were content with accommodation. Breakfast quite expensive but easily possible to eat on one's own terrace. Signatures restaurant nearby was wonderful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Booked here for 2 nights between the ferry arrival and our gite being available. Loved it - well placed with the views over the sea and about half way between town and port each of which is about 10 mins easy walk.
Enjoyed dining at places on the port and in the town.
Friendly and accomodating staff. Excellent breakfast and good to be able to take al fresco on the terrace.

The room was incredibly small but the view made up for it. Incredible view of the Chanel. Nice to have a fridge and a safe. Hotel staff was helpful. Would return.

We booked this hotel because it was 4 star and had received 5 out of 5 reviews from several visitors. It seems that the 5 out of 5 was given purely because of the location and magnificent sea views. The downside was that reception and bar closed at 9.00pm. There is no restaurant apart from a breakfast room. The room was adequate in size but we should point out that the original room we booked would have been facing the car park and with no terrace. We received a complimentary upgrade to a room with sea views and terrace and this made the stay acceptable. There was no air-conditioning and we had to keep the terrace doors open all night to keep cool. This would not have been possible if we had been given a ground floor room. We found it difficult to understand how the hotel could be rated 4 star.

A very enjoyable 2 night stay. The hotel has a superb location with a truley spectacular view. The location is peaceful, but minutes from St Quay Portrieux with the interesting port and good choice of restaurants.Plenty of parking and easy access to the coastal path. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good value, croissants, pastries, ham ,cheese preserves etc. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would love to return next year.

The hotel lived up to all expectations and had everything one would want - personal balcony with sea view, beach, port with restaurants and shops, cliff walks etc. The hotel was clean and modern with very friendly staff. We shall certainly visit again.
