The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Convenient hotel near the city center and train station. Very friendly staff!
Cleaning in our room was half done but they quickly fixed the problem once we notified them. Breakfast was too high for our budget but we were offered a cheaper option which we declined as we didn’t know at what time we wanted it to be ready in the morning (we’re on vacation). Metered parking available on the street in front of the hotel.

Rooms are very comfortable, staff friendly, we just didnt realise the pool wasnt included in the price

This hotel was just remodeled under Brit so it’s modern inside and like all the others. Having said that it’s comfortable with the elevators and new bathrooms etc. With a car it’s a good location for exploring the area but in a rough area just outside the Central too far to walk to the dining areas or the old portion of the city. We easily found on street paid parking which was very helpful. Also the front desk staff were excellent- young and willingly helpful with everything from a new parking App to luggage.

Close to train station, staff was attentive

A lovely hotel. Room was nice, clean and cosy with a great bathroom and shower. Big windows and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. 2 minutes walk from the train station. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Gwendoline who was extremely helpful and a credit to the company. She recommended a nearby restaurant and bar which were also excellent. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff at the reception were very friendly, the hotel is located close to the train station, the rooms were cozy, and our stay included 1 hour at the spa. Lovely stay and would recommend it.

The room was excellent and the spa area is really nice. The staff were eager to help and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Great location close to Train station and easy walks to old part of City. Free street parking from 19.00 until 09.00. Just refurbished. Sauna / spa is an unexpected bonus in a budget hotel. Friendly staff. The only change is the new Samsung TV's in the bedrooms are wall fixed so one cannot plug in an HDMI cable to connect a laptop. Dogs welcome!

It was a one night stopover for a flight out of Limoges the next day. A stones throw from the train station.
I thought the hotel was amazing for the money. Very swish and new, loads of mod cons, cordless charge points, coffee machine, amazing bedside lighting, lovely ensuite. Bedding and towels really nice quality. I had a very comfortable night. This was only a standard room.
The hotel also boasts a pool although I did not have time to visit.
The highlight for me though on top of all this was the staff who were very friendly and efficient, especially Emeline who was so very kind and helpful to me.
I would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Limoges.

Quirky, and in dire need if renovation.
Hammering of the surveyor during the stay was a bit if a downer, as my wife has hearing sensitivity.
New owners finding out what needs done

Did not expect much as it was not expensive so booked superior room but were given a regular room which was very small and of low standard. Very noisy environment and the room was very bright at night

NIce lobby, very small rooms in need of a makeover. Very noicy from the railroad and street, felt like the trains were inside your room. Junkies and alcoholics begging for money on the street outside the hotel.

Close to the amazing station you can hear the trains if you have the windows open. The comfort room was lovely, no air con but a decent fan. The receptionist polite and helpful.

Nice hotel within walking distance to the station and town centre. Lovely staff and breakfast facilities although we didnt use them

This is a very tired looking hotel in a not so good street opposite the train line. Public areas of the hotel had been refurbished very nicely but the room and the stairwell were very tired and not well kept. The room had a very small bathroom and a toilet that could only be said to be in a cupboard! We were given one small shower gel between 2 of us each night and just 1 bottle of water on the first nigh so not at all impressed with these as amenities. Breakfast choice was very small and whereas the bread was lovely as you would expect, the rest of the choice was not brilliant. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the city so this was a plus

This is a 2 stars hotel, the carpet in the room was too old and stinky. The staff were very nice and polite, the reception area was great. The location is great close to the Benedictin's train station. If I have a chance to go back to Limoges I can still stay there to give them a second chance.

Very convenient for station. Modern reception and friendly staff. Breakfast reasonable value altho there is an amazing restaurant at the top of the road which we visited twice. Hotel room was the most basic I have stayed in in years. Very small and extremely dated. A kettle was provided there . The reception staff claimed these rooms would be updated shortly but this definately needs to happen. Probably wouldn’t stay there again. We thought it was because it was not an expensive hotel that it was so poor but noticed all the hotels in the area including the modern budget Ibis charged the same rate . Bed linen and towels all clean tho. It was okay for 1 stopover night .

Ideal for exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again. Really comfy beds and the shower was red hot.

The location is very convenient, but right next to the rail tracks. If your room is on the front, it is not quiet. As there is no air conditioning, you had the choice of closing the windows for peace and quiet...and over heating, or being disturbed by very early trains.

Very welcoming reception , efficient but friendly.

Hotel was very close to the train station and not far from the tourist sites of Limoges (5-10 min walk). Room was comfortable enough for a 2 night stay and good value for money. Not many plug sockets in the room though, and one was blocked off which was a little annoying. However would stay here again and would recommend for a one or two night stay.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. And we travel a lot! Nothing like the pictures they post. Only the lobby is good. The room was awful, I couldn’t wait to leave. And the local area is ugly and very very dirty. I will never visit this town ever again

A very satisfactory stay in every way. The hotel is in a delightful old building, but everything inside is clean, fresh and inviting. The room was comfortable and spacious, the bath a little small but very clean, with lashings of hot water! The reception area is bright and modern and the breakfast very good. All the staff we met were charming and very professional. The central position makes it an ideal position for visiting Limoges on foot. There are a variety of good restaurants nearby. And it is close to the station if travelling by train. Car parking which you pay for is available in surrounding streets, if the hotel park is booked.

Receptionists very helpful indeed. Pretty room...... spacious and clean. Lovely bathroom.

Hotel Jeanne d'arc, is a typical French hotel , the staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is the usual fair of bread, croissants and cold meats. The hotel decor in the rooms is tired and quiet small but with huge TV.
1.5
Stayed here two nights to visit a relative in hospital so was not massively worried about enjoying myself. However, although the building is old, the rooms are spotlessly clean and have been recently decorated. Ours was not huge but served all our needs. The bathroom has an open step in shower. All clean and well maintained. Buffet breakfast is served in a new extension, which is spacious and very attractive. Breakfast offers a huge choice but, on our second day, things that had run out were not being replenished. Staff are friendly and helpful. We did not have a car, but think parking might be a problem. The hotel is walking distance from the railway station. Our room faced the line but we did not find the train noise a problem. I would happily stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights in September 2014. The hotel is easy to find and has a car park, or you can easily find a spot on the street, which is free from 7pm till 8am. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable, and the staff speak English and are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the main part of town, and there is a variety of restaurants close to the hotel.
1.5
The front desk agent was very pleasant, the room was clean and spacious. The only negative side is there is no air conditioning in the rooms and it can get hot inside the room after a day of sunshine. The TV was on the very small side with just one English speaking channel. This did not bother us since we were tired from walking around town. The location of this hotel is very convenient to explore Limoges on foot.
2.0
A good place to stay. Can be noisy due to the train service nearby but it is tolerable and the train noise did not happen after 11pm and up to 9am. The lift is very small.
1.5
The hotel is conveniently situated next to the station, but within close walking distance to everywhere as Limoges isn't very big. I got the 'standard room with shower', which was fine for one person, but the bed is very short, so if there are 2 of your or you are tall, opt for a better room! The room itself was very small, but it was fine for a short stay, and good value for money.
