Amazing hotel… perfect stay.

This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely perfect and the customer service was top notch. Only guests allowed inside the grounds really makes you feel like you are somewhere secluded and revered.
Special place.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. Quiet and sedate.
Very big comfy beds, although pillows are foam and hard, asked for softer pillows, slightly better but still foam.
Lovely big bathroom, no bath but big shower. Eventually found the one English speaking channel (852). Pool wasn’t too busy on hot days. Easy walking distance into the town where there are lots of restaurants, although quite a steep walk home up the hill. Hotel restaurant was fabulous.

Amazing hotel that definitely lives up the pictures and description. We had a wonderful week long stay here and are already thinking about returning. The property and facilities are excellent and the service was brilliant. The grounds are beautiful and we loved being able to relax around the pool. It’s a very good location in terms of being able to walk to all the major attractions in Sirmione and the ferry stop.
Only downside was that the WiFi was a little bit patchy but not a big issue for us. It’s also worth noting that there are mosquitoes around so you should take deterrents.

Perfect in every way

It was amazing!!!

It would not be exaggerating to call this THE most perfect hotel we have encountered yet. It is stunning. The grounds, its elevated position with great views, access to a private pier on the lake and a swimming pool that was actually civilised and quiet.
The guests were all polite and the staff are fantastic. I had one minor grumble here and they made up for it tenfold. Food is sublime. From home made pizza in a small van near the front dining terrace, to the wonderful breakfast and the five star main dining, they got it faultless. The service in the pier was great too. Almost don’t want to say too much more as it has a feel of being a hidden secret to it. We met a guest who’d been going 30 years and we resolved we might start on our journey to beating their track record. Honestly, terrific - 6 stars.

I was thoroughly impressed with the Villa Cortine Palace. After reading some mixed reviews I was not sure what to expect but the grounds, facilities, service completely exceeded my expectations. It was incredible. Likely the most beautiful breakfast location you will find anywhere. I travel frequently and frankly, Villa Cortine Palace is incredible value - they could charge more. One and only caution - don’t order the gelato. It is bizarrely overpriced. Everything else is great.

Stunning property, pictures can’t do it justice.
Massive private park is part of the grounds, complete with statuary and extensive gardens.
Private front deck area for sun and swim is served by the restaurant.
4.7
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Food was outstanding and the restaurant/bat staff was very nice. The front desk staff was not that friendly, and a bit snobby. The power went off twice and the water run out twice as well. Hotel is definitely old school. Didn’t feel welcome most of the time.

This is a wonderful property on Lake Garda, with a very nice garden, walking grounds, private dock, within very easy walking distance to the old town. Rooms are nice. We had an older room from the original villa. Breakfast offering is very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

A romantic weekend away absolutely blown away by the hotel. Beautiful views and surroundings. Staff friendly and very helpful.
4.7
one of the most peaceful and beautiful hotels I've ever visited with charming private gardens and pathways to relax and dream. the room was clean and comfortable. restaurant dinner was excellent. staff friendly and very accommodating. all in all a marvelous stay. the arrival adds a bit of challenge and adventure as one drives through a pedestrian zone to get to the hotel's hidden gated entrance. all around a most wonderful stay.

Wow, we really were lucky to book this hotel. The grounds were amazing, the rooms were nice and the views of Lake Garda were stunning. The hotel was so interesting and a great location. We booked two rooms for our family of 5 (kids ages 12,16,18). We had plenty of space. We simply loved Sirmione and this hotel.
We had a rental car and driving directly to the hotel, through the super narrow streets, was part of the cool adventure. We stayed in April and had great weather.
Love, Love, Love this hotel and staff.

If you are driving, when you arrive in Sirmione there is a barrier to allow hotel guests to drive through the town. Stop and someone then asks for your hotel details and lets you in. The streets are very narrow and full of people. There is traffic light control as the streets are only a cars width wide. On arrival at the hotel, stop at the gates and use the intercom.
Greeted by lovely staff and given a welcome drink. We had a lake facing room with a balcony which had breathtaking views of the lake.
We had a problem with mosquitoes in the room the first evening. You need to keep all windows and doors shut, curtains drawn. We followed this for the remainder of our stay and didn't have further problems.
Breakfast choice is amazing.
Pool superb and pool attendants were very helpful and always on hand.
The grounds are beautiful.
Good location for doing anything in Sirmione.

A nice hotel with beautiful gardens in a great location. The property would benefit greatly with a fully equipped Gym.

Gorgeous Setting, Good Service and Facilities
Unfortunately Disappointing Cuisine- Menus Very Limiting

This place was pure magic. The property itself is beautiful and quiet, removed from the busy streets of Downtown Sirmione but still within a five minute walk. The staff were wonderfully helpful with excellent dining recommendations, booking private wine tours and transportation. We loved this place so much that we probably spent the majority of our time in Sirmione at the hotel enjoying a cocktail in the garden or laying by the pool. 11/10 recommend place you have to stay if you travel to Sirmione.

What a beautiful property! We had a lovely time and enjoyed wonderful breakfasts, friendly staff and our whole stay on Lake Garda
4.7
The grounds were extensive and the property was gated. They had a restaurant at the water's edge and a private pier for sunbathing. The included breakfast was phenomenal. It was above a 5 star experience.
4.7
Amazing property with exquisite staff. Excellence of Italian style, really. Rooms in good size, crispy cotton sheets and soft towels. Food at the lake front restaurant had excellent dishes, fish soup was great. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us at every turn. Fantastic.

outstanding location, super staff, insane views, great atmosphere and restaurant.
Very private

Terribly noisy at all hours of day and night. (Construction) Requested a room change but couldn’t offer. Very disappointed.

This is an amazingly well run hotel, with very sympathetic staff, in an idyllic setting.
4.7
Of course, the grounds and views. The common rooms are very elegant as well.

Unbelievable hotel, would recommend very highly! We were in total bliss whilst staying here.

Villa Cortine is a beautiful property in a breakthtaking setting. My room was spacious and comfortable and the view of the lake glorious. The robot mowers in the garden were cute!
Lunch and dinner were consistently delicious, and enjoying an aperitif while watching the sunset unforgettable. Friendly, first class and approachable service from all the staff.
One small quibble: wifi was rather unstable in my room, but good in the public areas.
I definitely plan to return in the future.

An amazing hotel with a breathtaking view of the lake. Restaurant service is slow at times otherwise top notch service. Mosquitoes lamp would be helpful for outdoor dining. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return.

We enjoyed very much the beautiful garden, and the pier on the lake . Thanks also to the hotel team to facilitate our transfer on Sunday where cars were forbidden in the old town.
