Clean. Quiet except for expected street noise. Great people working the casino. Good value nowadays!

You don’t have FoxNews! Every cable, dish& app offers the channel & all that was available to watch was liberal propaganda television CNN! Floor was sticky.
Front desk clerk couldn’t be bothered to give us directions to the Continental breakfast. The Young one. was with my disabled mother who couldn’t walk or climb stairs and he got a little annoyed in pointed to the map and said look for yourself. It was rude.!thank you so much

Everything was amazing, but the noise. I had trouble with mobility, & the least expensive room, & accessible was next to the road. Lot's of traffic.

Surprisingly good room for the cost. Small but updated.

Hotel was quiet. Rooms were definitely not clean. The carpet was very dirty and the rooms smelled a bit musty.
They didn’t have housekeeping staff so nothing was cleaned the entirety of our stay (4 days)

Place was dated but clean, bed not very comfortable. Was a good walk to main shopping areas. Breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly.

Love staying at the hotel. Very quite. Great staff and amenities. Will continue coming back.

The price was right and not crazy expensive like most of the other hotels in this area. It's older but still clean and the people were fantastic
2.5
Close to Deadwood and Sturgis. Had covered parking and bike wash supplies. Housekeeping was friendly and asked if we needed anything daily. Very accommodating during bike week.

Very quiet area loved it

Nice comfortable, clean room in a casino, just an overnight stay on a longer road trip for us. We did drive the Spearfish Canyon Rd just before sunset before arriving and saw deer, mountain goats, waterfalls…
Free waters in the room and an amazing .79 cent breakfast special going on for Sept in the dining area

Nice clean and comfortable room. Checkin was easy and friendly

the property is older and needs updated. The furniture is old, the rooms next to the road are noisy.

Clean room, great .79 cent breakfast (for September's 30th anniversary), convenient, free parking. Super cheap, but very comfortable. We'll stay there again in the future now that we know about it!

Convenient location

Our room was very nice and clean. Although we faced a busy street, we could not hear traffic noise in our room. The room was very clean, and we did notice that the carpets were very clean, even up to the walls. Very well stocked with towels and good amenities. We enjoyed the stay and definitely would stay again when we go back to the Black Hills.

I liked the dining options, staff were nice and accommodating and perfect distance from deadwood if you don’t mind a little walk but to be a little off the main strip. Casino was fun. Thank you.

Great little gem! Walking distance from the historic downtown. Very convenient to have a nice restaurant that has a killer breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Although a little pricey with no breakfast it was a good stay. Property is feeling and looking old. When you get a warning to take all you valuables when you leave the room, doesn’t make you feel real safe. Unrealistic to ask for $100 deposit charged to my card with pay back in up to 7 days. I am paying exchange rates twice and don’t get all my money back.

Restaurant staff was fantastic. Housekeeping did a good job with our requests. Front desk staff was kinda short and unfriendly.

We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! We could not have made a better choice, it was very clean and quiet never heard anything but the ice machine. We hated leaving. The people were wonderful, the hotel was close enough to downtown we could walk to fabulous historic deadwood and the price was incredible, I hope to be able to go back again and if we do we’ll be sure to stay here!

In general, the hotel is ok for it's price. The service and room condition are about the average. But the room is not very clean. I found pill bugs in the towels. Although the hotel is located far away from the center of deadwood,it is close to 76er museum.

This was a great stay. My boyfriend was using a walker for his knee, they actually had a wheelchair they let him borrow at 1st gold. That was amazing and he was so thankful. Everyone was very friendly. The bartender Dawn was the best part. She is so friendly and attentive the best bartender in Deadwood. Thanks for the great time 1st gold.

Gentleman at check in was wonderful and helpful. Told us about the area, food sources, trolley, events…offered all this without asking. There was more slots machines then we thought.

I was unable to attend my trip and had to cancel almost a month in advance. The hotel did not refund me or give me any alternatives, they just told me that I would lose my deposit if I did not show up. Later, someone from the hotel called me to try to charge me for the remaining days of the reservation, threatening to charge my credit card for the missing days. Terrible customer service.

Great staff, nice little casino and great food!!

On check in was informed they were short on staff and if something was needed to let check in desk know, was there 3 days had to ask everyday for coffee, room was never cleaned, trash was never emptied, towels were never renewed, i made my bed and room service had the adacity to leave an envelope for tips, restaurant was good , best part of the stay

We had a great stay on our girls trip! I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room, gaming floor and public restrooms. Even though they had it posted that staff shortages made it difficult to clean rooms every day of your stay, the staff was very attentive and proactive with our needs. We had some of the best service we’ve ever had from the hotel, restaurant, bar and gaming staff. (Aside from 1 unhappy AM bartender one of the days) My only suggestion would be to maybe get some plush bed toppers as the beds seemed a little too firm and slightly uncomfortable . We will definitely consider staying again!
