Very British and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Very professional and courteous service!

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It's quiet, comfortable, spacious, and in a great location. We brought our dog this time and enjoyed that dog bowls were provided and the floors are not carpeted.

Another wonderful stay! This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel, and it didn’t disappoint. We will be staying here again in the future. Check-in was easy; staff was professional and kind; hotel was clean; location was safe. This time the room was smaller (which could be just be chance). Also, parking was not available at the time we came, but we easily parked across the street for a cheaper rate. Overall, this was a fantastic stay: a 5-star recommendation for staying in QC!

We were greeted happily. Instructions were clear, they spoke well in english! Our room was nice and clean. I was disappointed that the fridge didnt come with water bottles. Bathroom was equipped properly and clean. A few scratches/bumps and stains on the wall. I was displeased with our room location, right beside the elevator, so you can hear people and the "ding" sound of the elevator. All in all, I'd still come back to this hotel, I'd probably request my room to be away from the elevator.

The hotel was beautiful, with stone walls in our room. Unfortunately, our room was directly above the trash and recycled receptacles and the staff were regularly dumping bottles into the cans and the trash was picked up early.

It was comfortable to access to old Quebec city. and lot of restaurant too. my room has kitchen. it was nice.

Lovely hotel with stone window ceilings. Huge bathroom with roomy shower. You can easily walk to cruise ship.

Excellent customer service at front desk

Close to the old city and close to cruise ship docks. Rooms are spacious and clean. The attached restaurant is a winner as well.

the people on reception couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

The back of the hotel was very noisy with traffic and trucks and a gas station. Couldn’t leave the windows open for fresh air at night.
Restaurant Louise attached is excellent but expensive. Lots of good little restaurants, nearby easy walking to the tram up the hill.
2.5
Great hotel in slightly less busy part of old town. Would very much recommend it. Friendly helpful staff. Walkable to everywhere!

It was very clean and nice. Very charming. Good location along the waterfront. I wish I could have opened the windows a little to get some fresh air.

The noise from construction was pretty bad our second night all night long. It wasn't management's fault but maybe we could have been offered a complimentary breakfast at the Louise restaurant next door.
Our first night we froze in the room without sufficient blankets until 3 AM in the morning.
So, 2 of the 4 nights were unsettling.
But a hardworking team working at the hotel. With situations out of their control, we can't fault anyone directly and would stay in 1 of their comfortable suites anytime.

The room was different as described in the photo. It looks completely different from the photo. The real room they gave me was old specially the bathroom. In the original photo, the room has a modern style washroom but the one I stayed was old design. Also, after I checked out, this hotel charged me for something without any notice. I will not recommend it to anyone.

The staff was amazing- friendly, efficient, competent, helpful. We were surprised to get a room upgrade, have our bags automatically taken to the room after we arrived very early to check in, and were given a 72 hour bus pass gratis. The take out at the adjacent Louise restaurant was great. Can not say enough good things about this hotel and staff. Great location as well with a reasonable walk to lower old town Quebec City and easy access to a bus line to reach the upper old town area.

Excellent location for pre-cruise stay. Check in went extremely well. Danick and Anoine were friendly and informative. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spacious suite and friendly service. Great location.

My husband and I stayed at this property in early September. It is in a wonderful location with easy walking to many of old towns sites. Be aware it's on the lower part of the city, so you either need to take the funicular or climb to get to the top. For us, that wasn't a big deal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed restaurant Louise attached to the hotel. Only issue I would mention is there was a step between bed and bathroom in our room. You could turn on a light but then our room was very bright. It is a trip hazard. Although, we understand that these old buildings are quirky and we enjoy being in them. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely clean hotel, the staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. The only negative was the loud noise from the city road work that was being done in the middle of the night right outside our window… not really the hotel’s fault though!!!

Great and beautiful place!

Currently there is road work being done around the hotel all day and night. Its very noisy at night making it difficult to get a good night sleep. The hotel itself is very close to the cruise pier. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was in the older section and we had to go down 2 steps walk about 10 or 15 feet and go up 2 steps carrying our luggage. As an older couple we found this difficult.

The staff was excellent and very helpful with directions. The room was a little smaller than I expected but the bathroom was huge. The location was very convenient to all of the places we wanted to visit.

Lovely room, nice staff and an excellent location.

The staff was helpful and kind, making us feel very welcome. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 20th anniversary. However, our room on the main level offered no privacy. We couldn’t open the curtains because people walking by could see directly into our room. Perhaps rooms on the upper floors provide a better experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Beautifully renovated heritage building offering large spacious rooms with exposed brick and comfy beds. This hotel is perfectly nestled into the historic port district with access to winding pedestrian streets at your doorstep. The staff are friendly and helpful and there's a cute restaurant in the building with a sophisticated menu. Will be back!

Construction around property. Within easy walking distance of major attractions. Toilet was very low. Friendly staff.

Really cool, 1bedroom style suite in a great location near Old Quebec. Very walk-able and convenient. Hotel staff is great and the Host/Concierge are the funniest and most friendly I have ever seen! Parking is additional cost and limited, we got a space on day 1 and didn't move our car til we left. Highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Port Royal Hotel where we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel is located in Old Quebec City close to the Saint Lawrence River and the quaint cobble street shops of Old QC. It is a magical setting. The hotel has paid parking on site, with amazing and helpful staff. Amelie was particularly attentive to our needs. There is restaurant Louise next door with its outdoor patio and beautiful food. It was clean, eco friendly, within walking distance of everything and a really amazing experience.

Danik - at the desk - was amazing!

It is a small hotel conveniently located near the port and is a short walk from many tourist attractions. We arrived way before the official check-in time. The staff were very helpful in holding our luggages and then placed them in our room when it was ready. We also received a call to let us know when the room became available. Our room was of a decent size and has a small kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and cooktops. Even though the building is a bit old, we did not hear much noise from the street below or our neighbors. We only stayed there for one night and wished longer:).
