19/9 Great location, good friendly welcome, room tidy but basic, pool was good, as was breakfast. Disappointing that on check in we’re told the restaurant was closed for the season. No prior notice, nothing on the website, the only way you find out is if you try to book a table online, it is declined, or you get told when you check in, not good

Absolutely perfect hotel. Great pool and great staff

I love the staff. They are so hepful and friendly. This is my 2nd time staying there and will always go back whenever I visit.

Reasonable hotel with pool and fairly centrally

Our room was next to the office, so could hear talking constantly. It was also looked into from the gardens and common areas. The bathroom window would not close properly which made us nervous being on the ground floor. A little tatty here and there and could do with a bit of tlc. Nice lounge/bar area though. Staff were good.

Excellent reception staff and extremely professional cleaning services. My congratulations to Stefanie

Nice location. I had a view of the old town area including the cathedral!

Room was good and comfortable. Staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. We appreciated they stored our bags because we arrived before our check-in time. It gave us time to explore the area. When our room got too warm, they changed the temperature for us immediately. The hotel is pretty close to the airport, but it rained during our check-out and the reception was very kind to call us a taxi. I would stay here again.

Was near the airport and close to restaurants and shops.

Stayed one night. Choose this property due to proximity to airport ~ 7 min drive. Very well kept hotel. Cute clean bar/lounge area that extends to patio. Parking on site limited but there is a parking lot around the corner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Bathroom little outdated but overall not an issue.

Great checkin staff, clean property and rooms. Walking distance to airport.

The entire staff was very helpful. They made sure everything went smoothly from checking in, breakfast, to holding bags on check out so I could enjoy town. Bonus was they made sure I didn’t forget my pants in room.

I had a great stay. Friendly staff. I would stay here again. 5-10 minute walk to see France on the other side of the river. Beautiful architecture in this area. Plus you can easily walk to the airport but I never heard a plane while I was there. Comfy bed and big shower. A

We arrived and we did not like the room, level 0, although it had a small patio. They were very accommodating and changed us to the 3rd floor. The restaurant open for lunch was excellent. The pool was nice. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The reservation made and paid at Travelcity was different than the one received by the hotel. We paid for a 3 persons / 3 beds or 2 doubles and actually got a 1 double bed room. Even as I shown the reservation to the staff they took no responsibility and were not helpful, even after I shown then a confirmation mail by the hotel where it clearly said 3 persons / 3 beds or 2 doubles. We had to stay because there was no rooms available in the nearby hotels and the staff. The communication between Travelcity and the hotel is really bad and they just ping pong between each other the responsibility and the customer pays the price.

Great find right near San Sebastian airport - and right in the shadows of the castle!

Personnel very helpful. Initially given a family room in... underground with superposed beds, unacceptable for a four star establishment. They finally gave us a very nice family room in second floor. Very happy with it.

It was a last minute booking and luckily there was room available. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Only down side is the room was hot. The staff turned on the aircon but it was not cooling. Anyway we got a room with terrace we just cranked it a bit.

Very pleasant place to stay and only a short walk to town which has some really nice bars and restaurants.
Staff are always friendly and helpful especially Sherezade in the cafe bar who looks after you very well.

The friendly staff and the food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

no parking, impossible to park for a foreigner... not helpfull staff or seem to care at all..

At first glance hotel setting is lovely & parklike but as we stayed longer I felt certain things looked a little shabby and the rooms had no personality except for the terraces on the 2nd floor which both of our rooms had. This was a nice feature as we could enjoy a glass of wine before heading out for dinner. The double beds are just that...too small for 2 adults.

Nice place. I was there just for ine night but I confirm the good experience.

really nice welcome. The only negative point was that due to weather , it was noisy and also as my room was facing the street so I could hear the garbage truck passing during the night. but overall nice hotel.

Good hotel, convenient for a gentle walk along the sea front or up into the town - if you cant manage the climb, there is a lift (elevator!). Good breakfast and light supper.

The hotel is perfectly located of a main street, but still quiet. This is a small boutique hotel that is situated at when you first enter the town, and within walking distance to anything you may want. I have been wanting to eat at Restaurante Alameda, and it is a very short 5 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are understated and modern, and my bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that I was informed the day of my arrival that I would not have a double bed as booked but 2 singles instead. This is a very small complaint, and did not impact my stay overall. I did choose a room that had a terrace, and I would recommend this option to anyone who may be traveling with children, as just a room might feel small. The staff were very helpful, and there was plenty of coffee with a sitting area, and the grounds themselves were lovely. I only stayed for one night, but wish I had stayed for at least a few. I look forward to staying again, and absolutely love this small hotel and the town of Hondarribia.

Good room and shower, excellent breakfast, good location. The staff were excellent - the only “gripe” was the noise from the floor above of people arriving late. Otherwise it was excellent and we would stay there again.

The room was clean and very comfortable, with great amenities including a full bath. Service was friendly and helpful. The very immediate area of the hotel wasn’t of great interest, but it was quiet. And just a 10 minute walk away –up a long flight of stairs, or take the free public elevator! – is the fascinating old city, with narrow streets, intriguing buildings, great restaurants.

We were very happy there. Nice hotel. Fantastic breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Nice people.

The hotel needs some care and attention but the staff are great and make up for any short comings in the decor.
