There were no towels "in the contract" so I had to pay 400 pesos per towel. The VAT proved not to be included and I had to pay extra.
The electronic room-key didn't work from the first morning. All the time I had to ask , at the reception , to open my room on the 7 th floor. The elevator repeated times didn't work. The same for the wifi. There was no chair in my room . The sheets were to small for the mattress. Many times I woke up lying directly on the mattress , which is hygienically not comfortable.
Last but not least: The hotel used my creditcard to collect the room price , although , according to the reservation on the Expedia site , it only would be used as a guarantee . But they didn't tell me and made pay again in cash !

The worst hotel i ever stayed
The wall had moldy spots

These were just some of the things, I had to endure during my stay
An Absolute horror Place

Breakfast was not up to scratch as there was no protein component. Lifts need upgrading and are noisy

Friendly guys but the bedsheets need to be replaced

The staff is very good, but the general condition of the hotel is very bad. I have a problem with my flight and they canceled it. They got half the stay again. The charge is $ 100 dollars or an additional $ 4,200 pesos. badly affected by the humminidad.La key of the shower was broken and never repaired.the breakfast is basically third quality coffee, water sablorizada and hard breads. Also one in the condition of the air has a problem by the noise of a unit the the noise was severe that did not let sleep. What made my patience worse was having to go three times to the lobby to ask for towels. The towels are not left in the room but you have to ask them to the llbby

Avoid this hotel. The man at the front desk smelled like he had been drinking plenty of wine. I arrived to a room with an open door. I informed the front desk about it. The reply was that it was supposed to be like that. All sheets were stained and one even had a large hole in the middle of it. There were no towels in the room. A smoke detector in the hallway was signaling low battery the whole night without any action from the staff. Breakfast was not ready at specified time.

The bed sheets has blood stints and no trash bin in the room. We had bed bug bites during our stay with this hotel. We will not come back to this hotel again.

8. Me dieron una sola toalla
The worst hotel I have ever been in my life.
1. I got there at 1:53pm and they told me I had to Waite for it to be 2 pm exact.
2. I got to my room and it was hot. I call front desk and they said they will send someone. They came and turn on the ac but they did not give a remote to control the ac, because the only have two remote controls for the entire building. 10 minutes later the ac shut off and I call front desk and went downstairs and they said they were going to send some one but they never came during the entire day or night. I had to sleep with no ac my entire stay which it was one day cause I checked out.
3. The tv has no remote control.
4. The elevator was not working.
5. They gave me only 1 towel and the soaps looked used.

Hotels.com should not have this hotel on their website. I booked 2 doublerooms. They were described as guaranteed booked. We arrived after check in and they were not ready and we were asked if we minded single beds. We had to wait for the rooms to be cleaned. Described as with balcony views of the city and good quality bedding. One room had a small window so high you could not see out of it and the other a view of a half constructed car park. The bedding was a sheet and cover, stained in both rooms and the night was cold. They were meant to have blackout curtains. The room with the large window had only nets. No privacy when the light was on! The other room had a curtain hanging of the rail. The stairs were filthy and dark and the lift was noisy and small. Totally mugged off, the hotel description is a lie.

This hotel was super convenient and well located for me as I prefer to stay in microcentro. That being said, hotel was only good for me since I got a really good non refundable rate.
I'm not fussy but I would point out that the bathroom was clean, but dated; the bed was comfortable, but the bedspread had hotels; the elevator malfunctioned on several occasions, but fortunately there are 2 of them; and did see three roaches which I can deal with. The breakfast consisted of just pastries, bread and coffee....
I might stay at this hotel on my next trip.

great location hotel rooms needs to be refurbished to meet North American expectations

The hotel is located in Microcentro. It is a hectic and stressfull area, I recommend to look for something closer to Paraguay and Reconquista instead which is nicer, calmer but still in Microcentro.
I do about 100 hotel nights per year and this is the worst hotel I have spent time in this year. I don´t know even where to start when it comes to explaining my experience when it comes to the hotel room in general, the bed, towels, the bath room, the breakfast etc.. So I won´t...
Just stay away from this hotel, it it terrible....

THESE IDIOTS AT THE HOTEL SAID THEY HAD A ROOM FOR ME...FIRST OF ALL THEY WANTED 675USD BUT BECAUSE IT WAS AN EMERGENCY I BOOKED IT. I SHOWED UP AT THE HOTEL AND THEY HAD NO ROOM EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A CONFIRMATION NUMBER SO I NEVER CHECKED IN, NEVER SAW A ROOM...STILL THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD 675USD AND REFUSED TO REFUND IT BECAUSE OF "CANCELLATION POLICIES" THEY NEVER PROVIDED A SERVICE OR A ROOM AND I SHOWED UP AS AGREED...THEY CANCELLED ON ME NOT ME ON THEM...THEY ARE THIEVES!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

The hotel is located on a great location, however, when I made my reservation I asked for a king bed, never got it in fact when i arrived the receptionist took me to a different building, since according to him, the main one was full, the room had 2 single tiny beds, when I asked about the king bed, he told me that i could put boths beds together if i wanted to, they dont have remotes for the tv, they regulate the temperature for you, so if it is too hot in the room you have to open the window, there were mold spots in the bathroom, towels with holes, the safes didnt work, the breakfast is not what we are use to, there is no protein in the selection. The last week i had to ask the front desk to open the door for me since the card reader wasnt working, the elevators werent leveled. I think they can do more on the breakfast, since they advertise buffet, and definetelly they must do something on the maintenence. It was a total disappointment.

Front desk perssonel not friendly at all, rooms are not what pictures show and cockroaches all over the room and beds

The hotel had numerous issues that just left a terrible taste in my mouth.
1.The room key did not work because the machine to code them was broken. Every time we wanted to get into room someone had to come up with us to open the door with a master key.
2. The heat did not work
3. Beds were not made correctly, mattress showing and linens were dated
4. The curtains were torn and weren't hung properly so they would not close correctly
5. Not all the light bulbs worked - some were broken
6. Noisy room, windows were not soundproof
7. The remote control did not work properly. You had to press aggressively to get it to work.
8. No refrigerator
9. The bathroom garbage can top was broken and would fall off making tons of noise.
10. The toilet had no cover.
11. The door to the bathroom did not close properly - I had a fear of getting stuck in the bathroom. Another door in the bathroom where some cables were stored was not properly supported and would wobble back and forth.
12. Bathtub was a bit moldy.
13. The room smelled of stale smoke.
14. Hair dryer worked for about 3 minutes and stopped.
15. Wifi service was horrible, pretty much non-existent.
I would NEVER stay at the hotel again or suggest it to my worst enemy

The service is wonderful. Would like to go back again.

Good location. Door locks did not work the entire stay (4 days).
2.8
Room had plaster falling off the wall. The air conditioner did not work so had to have window open as it was 36degreesC and there was a large conditioning unit about 20 metres from the room (so either too hot or too noisy). The shower rail kept falling down. Only one reception staff took the trouble to converse, the others either ignored a problem or walked away.
The housekeeping staff were good. The breakfast staff lady was excellent.
Not much choice for breakfast and mostly refined wheat products.
Not a 3 star hotel, would be lucky to rate a 1 star

Hotels.com really needs to do a better job at screening the hotels it lists. This room was presumably 50% off. No doubt, it could never be worth the regular price. Door key never worked during 3 days, but master key did. Promises of getting it fixed were empty. No controls for TV or AC. Promises to find an extra control were empty. "Some young guys stayed here and tool all controls" was the answer. Only half the lights in the room worked. Holes and water marks on walls/windows. Same ragged bath towel for 3 days. Superficial bathroom cleaning (tested it!). Supposedly I was upgraded from a general room to a superior room! Took pictures! Interesting set of extra fees for early shows and late departures.

Very close to almost every bus that would lead you to. Walking distance to both EZE airport Bus, and Bus 43 to AEP local airport.

It is a hotel that is largely neglected in general. The price if the full rate, would have been very expensive, with the quality of the value discounted hotel was just really did not see the benefit of the discount is a hotel of very poor quality.
Breakfast with few choices.

Convenient location to almost anywhere in Buenos Aires! Healthy breakfast too!
2.8
A great hotel in a lively area. Everything nearby.
2.8
I paid $25 for the room... So my expectations were low. The room itself was huge and the beds were comfortable for the most part. Only one of 4 desk attendants spoke English/ seemed to care whatsoever. The rooms aren't most well kept, but it's a cheap place to stay and you can fit 3-4 people in the room easily!
2.8
Good for the price. Excellent location. Hotel needs major maintenance specially the bathrooms.

on the night of our arrival at the hotel, to ask our reservation that was already previously paid, we were told that the hotell was full, and that there had quadruple room, and gave us another edification one block, which we had to moving on our own, this room did not have the amenities of the hotel, the next day we had to accept that a triple room with extra bed, by the Quad to be the family together in the hotel.
and top all that missing one day to retire, robbed 3 bedrooms one of which was the room next door to where our luggage violated and they stole their identification documents and money, a disaster because the administration does not support as it was due to the guests, and they themselves had to make a report to authorities, and go to the consulate to report the theft of their documents, without the support of the administration of the hotel

well located

The staff need more training.

This hotel is located just two blocks away from the Obelisk, walking distance to the main subway station, Florida street, Casa Rosada, etc. So location is by far the best about this hotel. Shower, heating, etc. all worked fine, but the hotel itself is kind of old and needs some repair (similar situation to other hotels in the same area, as far as I could see). But to be fair, there were some repair / remodeling in progress. Breakfast is okay, would be better if they would simply add some fruits to it, for example. Staff members were helpful and professional. Free Internet works great.

Although centrally located, one block from Av. 9 de Julio, near pedestrian shopping streets (Lavalle and Florida), bus stops and subway stations, the hotel’s street (Suipacha) gets really unsafe after 10pm; one staff member warned me against numerous robberies by night. At this time, Suipacha is under construction, one very narrow path on each side allows the street access; if you are attacked, no chance to escape.
Greeting at reception was OK. My room had been repainted the previous week; paint dust remained on shelves, chair and radiator, as well as stains on carpet and bathroom floor. These white paint stains would have been better used to hide dark stains on sheets and towels…
In the morning, the hairdryer didn’t work; “it’s not offered anymore”, answered the receptionist. The private safe was also unusable. The breakfast buffet was correct (coffee/tea, pastries, juice, cereals, toasts) and the waitress kind and helpful. Unlike the receptionist who was on duty the morning I left, not very smiling and enthusiastic when I asked him how to get to my bus stop; he directed me to the wrong place.
In short, the Argentina Tango Hotel is not an option if you expect a friendly environment with clean and adequately equipped rooms.
2.8
The hotel was not what we're use to. Towels were raggedy, it was an old building so not everything was in great shape but it was clean and the staff were nice, pleasant, and helpful.
2.8
A cheap hotel that is well located, but the rooms are full of bugs and I got bitten. Breakfast is poor.

I will come back

The location was great but that is all that can be said for it. When we arrived the lift was not working properly the air conditioning was not working ,the toilet would not flush and was left used by the guest before us so the smell was bad. We mentioned it to the hotel staff who said it would be fixed but was not fixed at all . After going out for an hour or so we came back only to find the room had a leak from the ceiling ,and we had to change rooms, but the room we where given was not much better. We would not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone. When we complained about the air conditioning we were told the whole of the hotel was not working but that was not the case as it was working in the reception area. All in all a very disappointing stay.We also took 3 of our friends with us and they experienced the same problems as we did.Mr and Mrs Halls
