They upgraded us to an amazing huge suite! It was very worn, but appreciated the upgrade!

We were in town for Rutgers Homecoming and this was a fantastic hotel to stay close to the stadium and my son! So much fun!

Wish there was a coffee shop in the hotel.

Our stay was great...we enjoyed the walk around the area, and the dining experience. The room was beautiful and the staff was friendly.

I felt unsafe. We arrived around 11 PM and there was only one visible staff member. We also had to self park on the street. I also thought there were a few people who were going to spend the night in the park or square in front of the hotel.

I have been here many times and this was thw 1st time i was disappointed. The building was hot. When we left a d looked to make sure we had everythi f we fiund a charger in the sheets that wasn't ours which would tell me the sheets were not changed since the last guest.

The hotel looked so nice inside. But they assigned us to a room that was already occupied.
No wonder the room key didn’t work. It already had people in it.
I’ve stayed at many hotels in my life and this is the first time that this has happened!
Also the breakfast in the hotel is not free.

This morning I was awakened at 9am by housekeeping knocking. Check out is not until 12 noon. It was extremely inconsiderate and inconvenient to be waken out of my sleep 3 hrs before check out. I asked why she woke me up and had no definite answer. She claimed I was rude but they are the rude ones waking me up. Later the housekeeping manager got involved with security also claiming I was rude. I asked her why they knock so early. She claims if they dont have any rooms they begin to knock. Apparently it is their policy to knock starting at 9am. I asked to see the policy and she did not provide it. Then they threatened to get the police involved. I was on my way to get complimentary breakfast but they hovered over me and even escorted me back to the room like some criminal. I choose this hotel because it was convenient for my work over the weekend. I've never been threated so horrible at any other hotels. It was an extremely bad experience that they made me go through. I would like to make this complaint and demand my refund for harsh treatment I got from a apparently good hotel.

This was just what was needed for this weekend. Affordable place to stay.

It’s a really nice place to stay. Only downside was parking. I needed to pay $45 dollars for the 3 days my car was in the garage.

The place was beautiful. In the heart ❤️ of the Arts District. Really close to various local restaurants and activities. Valet and guest services top tier. Gym, pool and little balcony was amazing. Thanks, will be back for another stay.

The hotel looks nice on the outside but the rooms are outdated and not nice. The shower head kept falling down, the TV had a blue light effect and it was off. I had to put sheet over so we could sleep without the blue light illuminating the room. The gym equipment was minimal, inside pool had strong chlorine smell. There is no parking at hotel but valet price was $10 more expensive then garage next door. I would not stay here again.

Staff & service was friendly and accommodating! Conveniently located near a variety of dining options that are all walkable. Would definitely revisit in the future!

The lobby was filled with very loud people, many dozens wearing the same t-shirt. They made a lot of loud noises in the hallways upstairs as well.

The property is nice. My one complaint is the TVs are so out dated. I don’t understand how it’s 2024 and Hotels are still using TVs without Apps like Netflix.

Liked the fact that it was located directly across the street from the State Theater! Made it very convenient. Also, walkable from the New Brunswick Train Station. Friendly and helpful staff!

Close to Hospital we had to be at, but lots of people asking for money right outside, no parking and was told when we booked that that thay had a ride service to and from Hospital, that was a lie..

Perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband!

Loved this place, but think the $75 a night pet fee was over the top. Perhaps, if the hotel doesn’t want people to stay there with pets, they should just remove “Pet Friendly” from their listing.

Best hotel of the trip. It’s a bit of a late check in but what can you do. All was great here. The valet parking is well worth it. You’ll pay more for self parking unless you aren’t going to be coming and going.

Underwhelming. Just go to the Hyatt.

I took a red eye to New Brunswick. It just worked out that way. I arrived at the Heldrich Hotel at about 8:30am, hoping to at least check my luggage so I could walk about or do something until it was the official check-in time.
Instead, the woman at the front desk said "let's see what we can do for you" and just like that, I was given a key to my room before 9am. That is true customer service: to get over 6 hours to crash after arriving so early. I'll always recommend the Heldrich for their consideration of my physical well-being.

The Hotel exterior and lobby makes the place look more luxurious than it is. Place is clean and convenient. Staff is friendly. They need to update their key system. Had to go to the front desk four times because I had deactivated my hotel key by mistake by putting it too close to my phone or wallet. Wifi was very spotty.

My friends and I enjoyed having the vouchers for the bar. Views were great from the rooms. The neighborhood is perfect. Walking distance to dinner and theater.
