One of the nicer hotels in Columbia Missouri. The breakfast is always tasty and staff is friendly. LOVE the new mattresses! We wake up in the mornings feeling refreshed.

It was ok - I booked a 1-night stay, and because it was a Mizzou football weekend, it was REALLY expensive, and the room was just average. The pull-out couch mattress was very uncomfortable, my son hated it.

First of all, I am a mother of four that works six days a week. We were there for my daughters cheer competition and the only thing I wanted from a hotel was to be able to go to the hot tub when we got back to the hotel after competition it was a little bit later around nine and went straight down to the hot tub we tried getting in and the hot tub was cold not lukewarm but cold. Called and originally they were just going to deal with it tomorrow until I mentioned multiple times, but it was the entire reason of us booking our stay in fact called the hotel ahead of time to make sure that the hot tub was open and working. They did eventually come down and turn the water temperature up, which took about a hour. I decided to stay and wait for it to get warm just due to the fact that it was the entire reason for our stay at this hotel. The hot tub area was covered in mold. The hallways were covered in bleach on the carpet. It was very outdated and gross looking carpet. The room itself was terrifying! Under the door there was about a 2 inch gap but you could see light through and someone from the outside could see into our room, I had to put towels underneath the door and our luggage on top of that I got no sleep because I was constantly waking up checking to make sure my kids were safe. The owner of the hotel was supposed to have called me and I never got a response. When I was checking out, the girl said she never heard of any of this. Also the vending machine takes your money.

The hotel was very clean. The shower had good pressure. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold foods to choose from. There is a TGIFriday Restaurant that is basically in the parking lot of the hotel. So you can walk over for dinner. We could hear the people above us walking and the bed wasn't super comfortable. But I would definitely stay here again. Very clean, great location, and great price.

The hotel was nice, room clean except for a used bar of soap on one of the shelves in the shower. The young lady at the front desk wasn’t welcoming at all. She made me feel like I was annoying her by simply checking in. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would probably stay there again.

We have stayed at 4 different hotels in Columbia on recent trips to see our college student. Every hotel has been a disappointment - musty rooms, dated decor, dirty bathrooms, and poor quality breakfasts. We carefully read reviews before choosing Country Inn and Suites, hoping to avoid another unpleasant stay. The reviews were accurate! Country Inn and Suites was clean and more updated than other properties nearby. It was perfect for our short stay. The breakfast was also nicer than others. We would definitely stay here again. The only issue is that the pool and hot tub were closed for our whole stay. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even fulfilling our request for a quiet room by placing us in room 212, which was peaceful despite the hotel being at full capacity. The hot breakfast was outstanding, featuring a variety of options such as biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, potatoes, pastries, waffles, yogurt, and cereals, all starting at 6:00 a.m., perfect for early departures. A special thank you to the front desk staff, especially the lady who checked us in and Angela, who checked us out while also managing the breakfast area. We would definitely stay here again during our road trips!

This stay was a very good experience. It definitely passed my smell test, has good lighting, very comfortable bed as well as the suite seating area. The staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast has good options. We wish there were more Country Inn and Suites along our route.

Our stay was perfect for a game day weekend. The room was ready early which let us drop off our bags. There was a shuttle to the stadium which was a welcome surprise. The room was clean and well furnished. Breakfast was convenient. Even on a game day evening, the property was quiet. Country Inn & Suites will be my first choice the next time I return for a Mizzou game.

In town for the MIZZOU-Boston College game. Picked this hotel because of previous experiences with CI&S, and the convenience of catching the game day shuttle. Our king room was clean and quiet, had a comfy bed and an assortment of pillows. Breakfast options are varied and tasty, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our room did not have any cold water in the sink. The water was warm (supposed to be on the cold position) and barely trickled out. The toilet seat was very warm because the toilet TANK water was hot. After 4-5 times of flushing the toilet the chain broke off in the tank. Tried to fill the tank with a glass of water from the sink and the water that flushed into the toilet was filthy. The shower also did not have any water pressure and when trying to adjust the water temperature the shower would revert back to “bathtub” filling mode. I told the front desk clerk at check out. The clerk was not interested in writing anything down until her male coworker said that he was aware of those same issues with the plumbing. The clerk finally wrote something in a report ledger/booklet. The rest of the room was fine. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. We probably won’t stay here again.

We got a room at the very end of the hall. I was a bit apprehensive about hearing the external door at first but you have to go into the stairwell to exit the building so it ended up being a major benefit. The room was quiet and clean and spacious. 10/10 would stay here again.

The hotel itself was fine. Room was clean, the young man working the front desk (Ben) was nice and helpful, but we have a 6 year old and we always book hotels that have decent pools so she can swim. This hotel advertised a nice pool, but when we went to check it out both the pool and the hot tub were gross. The pool was green and had a horrible smell,and the hot tub had a froth floating on top. The bright spot is that the hotel did give us a full refund, I am leaving this review in hopes that it will help someone else avoid the same issue.
