Every staff member supported me in everything. The building itself is well-used, but the room was cleaned every day. I could have a very comfortable time.

Hotel is close to the train station and the harbour.
Some staff were helpful, others less so.
Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The fitting for the hand shower was at waist height, meaning the only way to get a proper shower was to hold it above your head with one hand.
Wall fixtures in the bedroom were fitted skew with screws sometimes only screwed in half way.
Breakfast was average at best.

the room smelled of cigarettes.people who don't like smoking should be careful.

Bed for the night after a late night flight, close to the bus route from the airport. Cute little room. Only concern was a loose electrical panel near the shower, but the shower itself was fine. Breakfast was ok, but there are much better options around the corner

Convinient located . Staff kind and polite .The hotel is on a busy street and only 3 parking spots available , so daytime it is a challange to park . But using this hotel since last 10 years and happy with .

Convinient located. Very pleasant staff. Window view was a bit awkward. Parking not so easy but receptionist was very helpful. The bed was not very confortable.

Comfortable enough room...good air conditioning! Easy to get around without being in the centre. Only view is of the court of justice!

The weather was hot and the air-conditioner which is a compliment to the fan in the box in the ceiling was just not good enough. The manager checked and said that the room was too hot to begin with and the air-conditioner needed more time on. Wrong the power was left on all day with a card in the power slot and the room was still too hot.

Fairly easy to get from the airport on the 78 bus (only €2) about 40minutes.Close to all the shops and only 1/2 mile walk to the lovely promenade which is full of café bars. The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel with bulk standard breakfast of toast, scrambled eggs & small sausages, every thing else is croissants, Greek cheese, olives, etc.The hotel is situated right opposite the courts, so traffic is very heavy most of the day except weekends. Get some bottled water to drink because the water that comes out of the taps is often discoloured.Staff are very helpful and polite.

We had a great time. Our room had a balcony with a view of the sea. The hotel is good for a weekend trip. The internet was tricky to connect to, but the staff fixed it right away. We would definitely recommend it to our friends.

I got to the hotel after midnight and the man at the desk was friendly. I received a nice welcome and help with directions the next day.

Overall it was fine. The room wasn t clean in a dayly basis and you can tell. Maybe not enough staff in the housekeepong area. Breakfast? Not enough food, not much for a 3 stars hotel. The location its great, the price was good, the receptionist in the morning a man and afternoons a young lady the best service as you will expected in a tourist city and a 3 stars hotel. I will recommend the hotel if you need somewhre cheap and central to stay. The rooms and breakfast needs a huge improvement in my opinion. It was a good holidays. :)

I had experienced a nice 2night stay there. The beds were comfortable, silent environment, non disturbing noise or neighbours. The breakfast was enough and various. We enjoyed the near location of the port with boats to the beach. The shopping area and centrum were also available to reach on foot. The staff was nice and friendly.Very good for this price hotel.

From day one I was greeted with the most gratitude. By all members of staff. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simple and perfect to start the day. The hotel also has a cafe, where they make great coffee. The location was ideal for my stay. A little supermarket around the corner, miniature shops open 24 hours (from what I noticed) within minutes of the hotel by foot and castles nearby within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel. This was my first visit to Greece and I must admit, I will be returning. In my room was a television (not that I even turned this on) shampoo and shower gel provided. Clean towels daily and my room serviced daily also. Thank you Anessis Hotel for my excellent stay. Also thank you for the advise provided from the staff to ensure I enjoyed my holiday.

Whilst the staff was very friendly, I was very disappointed in the hotel. Upon entering our room we noticed the walls and ceiling were covered with small blood stains. It didn't take long to realize that the blood had come from mosquitoes that were hit against the wall, as we were bombarded by about 7-8 mosquitoes that were all over our hotel room (and it wasn't even mosquito season). We also noticed hair on the bathroom floor which was very off-putting.
I would have thought that with the room being as small as it was, it would have been rather easy to clean. However, it seemed no effort was put into cleaning the room aside from clean sheets and fresh pillows.
The staff was the only saving grace for our duration. They were very nice and friendly, and are the only reason I have given this hotel a 2 out of 5, rather than a 1 out of 5.

I stayed at Anessis Hotel for one night on my way from Thessaloniki to Volos and it was perfect as a single traveller. The room was clean and a good size for one person. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there is good, free wifi and they offered a decent selection of food at breakfast. You have to go out for other meals as they don't have a restaurant, however, and the hotel is a bit off the beaten track so not ideal if you're looking for shops, restaurants or nightlife.

The hotel itself doesnt look too great from the outside, very dated. But inside it is nicer, the staff were friendly upon arrival and checking in was a fairly easy process.
The hotel was described as "non-smoking" but yet people still smoke in the bar areas, and the rooms and corridors smelt of smoke.
The hotel facilities were fairly limited, you could have limited lunch - cheese on toast or a club sandwich, and you could not have an evening meal here.
While this hotel was o.k. for the few nights i was there, i wouldnt recommend it to anyone spending a long time here, if you stay in thessaloniki for a 5 days or more i would consider looking elsewhere - i would give it 3/5 stars. There are better hotels in the area for around the same price.
