I was not comfortable after seeing the bathroom was not cleaned properly and the fact i called front desk and they gave me windix and said it has ammonia in it that will clean it i was dissatisfied with the condition of the bathroom even down to the toilet but everything else was great i just really hate the way that night went and how i felt was even worse with the outcome from front desk no help at all was told to wait for a manger the next day because this wasn't her normal property she works at 🤔 not even a recommendation to switch rooms smh i will stay again under better conditions

Roaches in the room. Hotel staff was helpful in accommodating me but the other room was not any better. Staff was nice about cancelling my reservation so I could go elsewhere.

The bathtub was clogged, so it was a very slow drain. The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall so the curtain was barely closed. They maxed out the air conditioner at 69°. Other than that I guess it was all right.

This property is awful! I made a reservation for a single queen and got two double beds. The AC didn’t work; blew out hot air. The sliding glass door went off track every time we opened it. The room floor was visible dirty. The furniture was worn: finish was peeling off; drape/curtain over sliding glass door was torn; bathroom faucet dripped all the time; bed sagged in the middle. Advertised as serving continental breakfast, but one had to go to Starbucks next door.

As a last minute booking for a place to stay while looking at real estate, this was perfect. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or beach but the location was close to the boardwalk and restaurants.

The resort was great, the only problem I had was when I checked in, I waited like 20 minutes for service, the lady was in the back talking to someone and told me she would be with me in a few but it was actually like 20 minutes. Then she came to the counter and had an attitude so unprofessional, she acted as if my card information was not in the system the she told me I needed the physical card, I explained to her it was an virtual card she insisted that she needed the card, the I showed her the virtual card then she entered the information with no problem, it took me about 30 to 40 minutes to check in that was so not called for.

The Bay View Resort was a great choice. I went to Myrtle Beach for some rest and relaxation, and I was instantly put at ease with the sound of the ocean waves crashing upon the shoreline from my room balcony. I enjoyed the pool area and the Starbucks on the ground level. The hotel has lots of walkable restaurants nearby and the big Ferris wheel is about a 10 minutes' walk. Jeff was great at check-in and all staff I met were very nice.

The stay was above average. Maintenance had to be called to the room a total of 4 times within our first 2 days due to issues with our A/C not working properly and maintenance had to come vacuum water from a full drip pan. On the third day someone was sent to service the unit. Next 3 days no issues. Was told that i would possibly get a discount but did not.

This was our 2nd year staying at Bay View, overall we enjoyed our time there. However we did have some issues. The room smelt bad open first entry, we found a box of frozen waffles in one of the cabinets that was the reason. The dish washer seemed to have been leaking for a while and there was water damage on the at the molding on the back of the counter and was also broken off. We had mold on the ceiling about the shower in the master bathroom also, however property maintenance did come to look at and resolve those issues if possible. We ended up deciding to stay an extra day and was told we had to change rooms, which was fine. We were told we would have to pack up and chk out and they would hold our bags till the new room was ready. Well we cleaned the room out as we would to leave and packed everything up on 3 carts to take down to the lobby. 3rd different persons at the front desk told us we should have left in the room until the other room is ready and then he was able to make arrangements for us to stay in the same room. So we had to take all our stuff back up to the same room and had to have new bedding bc we removed ours bc we thought we were changing rooms. I appreciate the 3rd person getting it straight but it caused a lot of headaches that could have been avoided by the first clerk. That all being said again our experience there was still enjoyable and mostly redeemed by the last clerk we talked to. We will most likely be staying again there next year l.

Very nice location & suite was clean & comfortable. The elevator situation is tenable. They were slow & for a couple days 2 of 4 were out of service. Would consider staying there again.

After i checked in and got to my room, my room was dirty and had bugs crawling around the bottom of the bed. I asked if they could switch me to another room and they said they didnt have any availability to switch my room as they didnt have any other rooms available. I told them i cant stay in a dirty room especially with how much i paid for it. So i told them i am checking into another hotel and i am disputing my charges if they havent refunded my trip.

Upon entry, our room appeared as if it had not been cleaned. There was food crumbs on the floor and trash from prior visitors on the floor. The furniture was stained and damp. There was no tv remote and a lamp was broke. I was told per the front desk that housekeeping was unavailable until tomorrow. A new tv remote was brought but we were unable to change to apps. The next day my baby was napping when housekeeping came by. I asked them to return at a later time to which they refused. I was informed by staff that they only take out the trash and replace towels. My baby was walking in the bedroom and fell hitting her back on the bed frame that was sticking out from under the bed and concealed by the bedskirt. She was pretty banged up so we filed an incident report. Staff seemed unbothered but sent up a sweet maintenance man to help. The next day our toilet began leaking. I notified the front desk who were a little more helpful this time and got us a new room. This room also needed a good vacuuming but was better. The tv worked properly but some of the dressers were broken and had doors hanging off. We went to use the dishwasher and roaches crawled out of it. We were more than happy to leave.

Very nice hotel, close to the ocean. It had lots of pools (indoor and outdoor), a balcony with a beautiful view. The room was small, only double beds and the pools were not the cleanest.

Check in went well. The room was horrible. It had two beds that were full-size. You could not even walk around the beds without one person standing to the side. There was no chairs to sit in no table to sit at the TV was in the corner the first bed couldn’t see it Was over the TV not the kitchen area the bathroom door stuck. If you got it closed then you had trouble getting it opened. There was water all over the floor going to the elevators. They had water all in the elevators. There was no caution signs until I said something about I was taking pictures because there was no caution sign, and it should’ve been put on the website about all the water , after that, they had plenty of signs up everywhere and even had someone in there trying to mop it up, but it’s not a place to take an elderly person who is in a walker and someone else who can’t hardly walk didn’t realize it has so much water. We were called at 2:20 in the morning and told him move our car after the attendant check us and told me to park there. They told me that he did not tell me that and I said well he absolutely did and I said I will be down there in the morning to move my car, but then she called me back at 2:30 and demanded that I moved my car that she was not waiting till in the morning so I had to get up go down there and move my car to where I needed peace. But the next day I called the manager and I complained about everything sent pictures about everything that I had encountered the day before.

Overall an okay stay, but the elevators were horrible. The hotel only had four elevator cars. Guests were trapped in a car and had to have the fire department called in, and one car was shut down after that. At time of checkout the elevators were completely inaccessible. An hotel employee was incredibly rude because we had to walk up and down 7 flights of stairs with three children and a blind adult to load all of our belongings and took more than the 15 minutes they allotted. I would not book again.

Dated and worn. The pool, lazy river and hot tub all had unaccompanied children. I wish we’d spent a few extra dollars and stayed somewhere nicer, with breakfast and beach chairs included.

I am glad I got ocean front which helped, but overall I read reviews about issues before I got there. The elevators take forever(it seems people are pushing buttons a lot), the room it self wasn't horrible, but the beds were like sleeping on a table so hard. the balcony wasn't super clean as birds were trying to eat things that were there. it was nice and close to the ocean.

I would NOT recommend this property. The hotel is actually very run down and the pool was disgusting. We never saw anyone clean it or check the water and it was full of sand. There were no pool towels available and there was only one ice machine for the entire hotel and it was broken the entire time! My door key continuously deactivated and I had to go to the front desk multiple times to have it reactivated.

Very nice view of the beach Easy access to the beach and nice boardwalk. No early check. No communication they said they will call for early check in but no body did, so we lost a whole day waiting until 4 and it was a one day beach stay. Beds were very small with no AC in bedroom but was cold in living room. Loud ac was going the whole night.
