Beautiful and peaceful place!

Second time in the resort, nice food is offered, good variety. Room is spacious and two swimming pools, being one with warm water.
Definitely i will return again

Likes: Lots of space to stretch out. Great value for the money spent. Dislikes: No dehumidifier in room, it stays wet inside. Allowing adults to carry drinks and food into pools. (The pool bar is fine, but when I see a plate of food on the outside of the pool edge and a pina coloda spill into the water by a drunk woman, it made us leave the pool that day.) Please enforce no food and drinks in the pool.

Nice spot , confort, clean and very pleasant, only cons I could find was the baby cart rented by hotel was really low quality and I regret not to have brought my own, as well the star-privillege reserved areas on the beach as kind senseless, as I paid almost 1000 extra to upgrade from Bahia to Selection it doesn't make any sense you have to pay further 2500 to stay in a front beach chair, it looks like hotel is trying to make money pushing charges to guests that are already paying a lot for the stay

Everything was perfect, except the check in and check out.
We waited for hours for our room to be ready and when it was ready nobody told us, we were just sitting in the lobby for hours waiting.
And for the check out the lady was so rude to us, she made us wait to check out, and she wasn’t doing anything, we just stood around waiting to check out and for her to get the taxi information to let him in to the resort. It’s my first time staying at this iberostar, the property is amazing but the front desk team should be more friendly!!

This Hotel extends all the tedious parts of your real life into your vacation in a sneaky way. there is no room for spontaneous decisions. Want a pool chair? Get up at 7 and reserve it! Want a towel? go back to your room and search for your deposit card. Want to use the gym? can’t just go. reserve ahead with phone hotline matathon (press 1 for… 2 for… type). Want to eat a la carte? reserve at a counter with limited hours. you need to do this at the very first day or you won’t get a table! (btw, „all inclusive“ means only 2 times per stay, not however many times you want…) Safe out of battery and beeping? The guy comes and takes the old ones out but go dial reception again yourself to get new ones.

Beautiful property located at the beautiful Praia do Forte Beach. Nice rooms but the food at all Iberostar hotel around the world is mediocre. Drinks were not premium but were OK. Great service and excellent customer service. overall, I had a good stay but I would not return..

The resort was very clean and the customer service was amazing.

The staff was all very nice and helpful - especially those who tried helping us with our language barrier! Our only negative comment is the room smelled terribly musty/moldy and no cleaning could get that out . I had to wash all my clothes that I took even if I hadn’t worn some of them !

Nice resort, good food and drinks, nice pool. Beach not so much. Good measurements against COVID-19. Good shows at night.
Overall pleasant stay, i would stay again.

Potentially an excellent place to go with friends or family. Unfortunately at times the service was slow. The food quality was average and only a buffet option is available when staying less than 3 days. Even if staying more days, the restaurants are not guaranteed. The steakhouse restaurant was very average and we waited two hours on a main course. Only one restaurant (out of 5) was open daily while we were there. We upgraded to Prestige in the last 2 days and had an excellent level of service, highly recommended. Beautiful pool, views and higher quality drinks and a few small petiscos.
I got the impression that staff can make very little decisions for themselves. Every small request goes up and down through management levels, leaving people highly stressed in a place they go to enjoy. In 3 days we spent an unimaginable time at reception for very basic requirements.

The hotel is located at beautiful premises. The staff is very kind.
The only suggestions I would make to the hotel are:
1-room service: there is no room service. A lot of guests come with family and children and at least a basic room service (being this an all inclusive hotel, it is a standard I guess)
2-towels: you get a card to exchange for a towel at the pool. If you loose it there a charge. This is a bumer. The while point of paying an all inclusive is not to have to carry around wallet or any other thing

I freaking love this hotel! My wife and I are still raving about it and telling all our friends about how they need to visit! We can’t wait to come back! The food was wonderful, the beach was gorgeous, the rooms were confortável and clean! Adorei muito! Entertainment at night and the staff is so nice! Best hotel we have stayed at for sure :)

Hotel is fantastic. Very beautiful. The beach is clean, with soft sand, where even children can play around. Hotel staff is available to serve in the beach area. The pool is like a beach without waves. Huge, with salt water, satisfying children and adults. Restaurant are very good. Take care of not indulging in food too much not to gain weight. Thematic restaurants is a plus, specially the Japanese one. There are a lot of activities for all ages. Every night by 10 pm there is a different show. Our room was spacious and kept clean every day. Air conditioning could be better, lacking temperature control, having only 3 air flow regulations. Although staying during Fall, temperatures are high and very sunny.
All in all, worthed it a lot.

Excellent inclusive resort , quality accommodation and food

Overall, it is a very nice property with 3 pools, etc. right on the beach. Therefore I was on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator (nor help) to carry my heavy luggage up… The food was ok. I understand it is difficult to have great quality for so many people, especially when so many of these just waste it, but I was expecting a little better. Regardless, I enjoy my stay and recommend the place.

Great location and beautiful hotel. It is a great choice to relax with family. The pool and the room views are amazing. However, the hotel staff does not speak English. If English is your only language, you should think twice to come to this hotel. The food selections were plenty. However, the quality of the food was really poor. It is clear they don’t care about quality but quantity. That said, when we complained about staff not speaking English, the hotel made an attempt to accommodate by assigning the only English speaking person to the restaurants we dined. This is why I am rating them OK, not poor.

Great resort with escellent facilities and services, very nice sandy beach and nice Entertainment

Overall experience was good. Clean and warm pools. Right on the beach. Food quality, taste and selections is not that great for a supposedly 5 star hotel. Mini bar has no liquor and they only put 2 beer every 2 days in the fridge with soda and water. Room very clean. It was okay but for the food and drinks. Seemed to be no USA people there.

Hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept and definitely provides a relaxing atmosphere to get away and unwind. Room was clean and comfortable but ordinary....no luxury here! Only water and soda in the 'mini bar' which was not restocked. No coffee/tea provisions in room. Was disappointed that free wifi was not provided in rooms as part of package and was thrown a curve ball finding out on arrival that only 220V outlets were present with no converters available! They were kind enough to charge small gadgets for us at the sole 110V outlet at the front desk.
Staff was very warm friendly engaging and helpful but the language barrier made communication tricky, would have expected most staff or at least key personnel like your tour guide or driver to have some basic proficiency in English but enjoyed trying to learn the native language. Evening entertainment was good but again the experience was limited as it was mostly in Portugese....great learning the culture.
The food was terrible! Same exact buffet menu everyday for one week....I was over it by day 3! The taste and quality was also inconsistent and for the most part not good. It seemed difficult to get into specialty restaurants but the ones I was lucky to secure was not much better than the buffet menu.
The liquor was quite disappointing as while plentiful it was of the cheapest variety! I eventually stuck with beer as I figured it was the hardest to cheapen!
Compared with Iberostar Jamaica, overall definitely lower quality!

Beautiful weather and accommodations. This all inclusive resort left little to be desired. Beach and pool were both well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. There were many activities available within the resort and good shopping at the local village.
There were some issues with our room. We ordered a king bedroom two months in advance of our visit. We learned that wasn't available upon arrival. Later we learned our room had a broken air conditioner, non-functioning shower and lock for the balcony door. We received a new room after threatening to write a poor review on Hotel.com. This room change made all the difference.
All things considered, it was a wonderful vacation. I'd recommend the hotel to all, especially if you know Portuguese. I will consider other Iberostar resorts in the future.

The overall experience was shadowed by what seemed to be very rigid behaviour on behalf of the staff at check in. It tinted our stay right from the beginning and gave it a bitter taste.
However, once our problem was resolved by meeting somewhere half way we did enjoy a few lovely days in the resort which seemed very well layed out as you never had the feeling of being
squished around the pool like sardines. The beach is absolutely stunning and a good place to have beginners surf lessons as well.

When we arrived, I don´t know why, they sent us to the Iberostar Praia do forte which is even better.
The staff is very nice and helpful. The pools and green areas are amazing. They offer a huge food variety with very good quality. All the alcohol beverage are made with n° 1 brands.
The hole experience was really great.
