Overall a good experience and good location. The room did smell of sewer gas the first couple of days, which finally faded. Fresh towels were not provided when the room was made up, but were provided when requested.

Everything is good. Breakfast, city to walk nearby, rooms are good too.

It was good value and very convenient to have the restaurant right by the hotel (with discounts for people staying). Although the local taxis were very overpriced so I would definitely factor that in to your stay as it became the top expense. But I would definitely recommend!!

This hotel is a gem in a quiet village with a great bar/restaurant right on the beach.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable

Nice hotel. Front desk lady is really nice and helpful. The rooms are good with comfy beds and good aircon. The bothrooms are nice but not very well laid out with nowhere to put toiletries and the shower water goes everywhere. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast but overall, would be happy to stay again. Good location near to Gouvia Marina which is about a 15-20min walk or short taxi and also near to some good bars, restaurants and shops.

Stayed here during the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff made everything as safe as possible- nothing was an issue.. excellent service and helpful at all times. Will definitely be returning in the near future...

This hotel was brilliant a great couples stay attention to detail by all staff is spot on, the beach is typically Greek island stony but is only 50m from the excellent beach taverna which serves a great range of beers and wines and delicious food the mixed grill was stunning. The look of the hotel is clean and the gardens are beautifully maintained with vibrant colours and stunning smells,
We will be back

Would not go back again , it is good value for money for those who just want a place to sleep in . The staff are friendly though

A nice hotel and inexpensive, so we didnt expect luxury. Our room was basic, which was fine, but there were only 2 hangers in the wardrobe and most of our clothes had to hang on a chair. The room was very noisy, too. All night pipes gurgled, next-doors central heating throbbed, and our fridge buzzed. There was a flashing light, too, from the air-con, though we did not use it.We only ate 3 times in the restaurant as we found the food poor value. Other places were better and the ones in Corfu Town were excellent., but no more expensive.Breakfast was simple but adequate. I really enjoyed having yoghurt with honey every morning!Apart from problems with the room our holiday was enjoyable. I wouldnt go in high summer again as it was so very hot, but this year we couldnt go earlier.

The hotel iscin a great location...close to the beach and restaurant and bus stops. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole hotel had a lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time in Corfu and at Gouvia.
The only downside to my stay was that I was in a ground floor room (115) and was opposite the reception/restaurant area and on the main walkway to the beach. This mean that I had little privacy as people could see straight in to my room and so I often had to keep the curtains closed and therefore shut out the sun. It was also very noisy at night being on that room as the restaurant music was loud and part of the kitchen was to the other side of my room so the noise of pots and pans and kitchen staff shouting went on until around midnight. This was the only negative thing about my stay though.

The beach and hotel garden are very nice and pleasant.
The room itself is very basic: hard bed and pillow, no vent in bathroom, no shampoo,...
The team is very nice and I do recommend for those that suffice with basic room conditions.

The hotel was very hard to find. The receptionist was not very friendly when we check in. We were charged an extra 5 euros per day for air conditioning. We never had that happen in a hotel before. The beds were hard. The door had been damaged and there was missing wood at the bottom. This or the lack of dusting made the floors dusty everday. Clean towels ever three days. The TV was a small old CRT type. Glad we had a car, beach water was not very clean. Breakfast was ok. No room safe.

I stayed there for 3 days. I can say, that Hotel is very nice with great staff. Breakfast is simple, but You can eat so much. Dinner is wonderfull. Room is clean. Bathroom is clean. Only bad that there is only soap, not shampoo. Conditioner is for extra money. But without it I slept well at 28 celsius. Be carefull of mosquitoes. In the evening there was sometimes noise of generator. But no loud music and so on. Calm place. Near main road with bus stop. Near supermarket, where You can buy water and other goods. Hotel is near seaside. It's a good strategic location for Your discovery of Corfu island.

We stayed for 7 days at the Iliada and had a great holiday. The hotel facilities are basic but everything (fridge, air con, showers) worked. The breakfast was ok (cereals, bread, ham, cheese, cake, coffee, tea, juices etc) and there is an open bar which was friendly and comfortable. We only did B&B. There are loads of places to eat and drink in Gouvia so we were glad we had not done full board. The Iliada hotel is next to the grander (and undoubtedly more expensive) Molfetta, which has a big restaurant bar at the front and nightly entertainment which is open to all - I am sure we were not the only Iliada guests to benefit from this. Upon arrival we were given the keys to our room but found twin beds (i had specifically requested a double in a note to the hotel on this site and the room had been advertised as a double). I was told that the hotel only had four double rooms and that I could push the beds together - I persisted, and they agreed to move us to a double room the following day once one had become free. We found the staff very friendly but thought that they could have perhaps been a bit more helpful upon arrival. All in all, a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, particularly due to its excellent proximity to the beach. Also, if you stay here, you should definitely do the Magdalena 'BBQ' boat trip - it is excellent, and unbelievably good value.

This hotel was lovely staff were all so friendly, right near the beach and near the shops and restaurants, only let down was the breakfast it was a little basic.

The hotel was in a perfect location. In fact, during our two day vacation we never had a reason to leave the surrounding area. We only wish we could have stayed more time. The beach across from the hotel was stunning and not crowded at all. The pebble beach and the blue water was perfect for relaxing. The hotel staff was wonderful and friendly. And the restaurants and bars in the area, including that of the hotel's, were wonderful!

A very nice and friendly hotel to stay. Friendly and helpful stuff and good location.

This hotel is a quite basic beach hotel. It does not have its own swimming pool, instead they encourage you to use that of another hotel that allows in the public, the room is very basic and small, and the Wifi works but gets maxed out when many people try to log on. If you are looking for a budget place to stay you could consider this.

A very friendly hotel with lots of atmosphere close to beach . Very clean and comfortable. There was a taxi strike on when we arrived and we had difficulty in finding transport from the Ferry Terminal to the hotel . A shuttle bus would be handy for transfers to the airport and ferries. Hotel management were very obliging and provided a private transport service for us to the airport.Close to shopping and tour bookings, we would recommend this hotel as value for money.
4.0
Helpful staff and lovely, off-the-beaten-track location make this rustic hotel a good value for high-priced Corfu island. Only drawback: beach proximity means high humidity, and beach towels may not dry quickly.
