My stay was fair. Location was great. Breakfast was only average and poor for the price. There was only one small bottle of drinking water provided for my entire 3 night stay. The cost of drinking water from reception was excessive.I stay in Darmstadt frequently for business and have had better experiences nearby.

Spent a few nights at the hotel. The rooms are mid-size, have in general every required amenity - additionally a fridge would be nice. Parking directly at hotel, very convenient. Also the hotel is close to a park and shopping, so very well situated in the town. Hotel offered breakfast and dinner for guest. Breakfast buffet has a good range of products, dinner had very nice staff, and was well organised to cover COVID restrictions. Smoking is a bit an issue - smelled cigarette smoke outside of rooms, and was also blowing over from other rooms through the window. And the bedding could be of a higher quality with more comfort. All in all a hotel I would choose again in Darmstadt.

Good hotel, AC was great in the 41degC heat that week. They didn't throttle it back at all. and it was also on all day so the room was nice an cool to come back to. Bed was comfortable in this no fuss hotel

It used to be our favorite hotel. This year it wasn’t all that great. They don’t have A/C just a ‘chiller’. The technician was super nice and explained this very well, which made it clear why the room stayed kinda sticky. The personnel is awesome and always helpful. We’re probably coming back as long as it’s not during the hot summer momths

Very ideal location to explore Darmstadt with a lovely park right out the back door. My room was a view room which overlooked the park but, unfortunately, this was also where truck deliveries were made and so enjoying the natural air through an open window also meant early morning noise. Despite this, I would chose this hotel again for my stay. Excellent! The airliner bus also stops right across the street for very easy transport from Frankfurt airport.

Good location, great price, and wonderful breakfast. Hotel can be difficult to find when driving and using GPS, but once you’ve found it, it was worth it.

Asked for a non-skid mat for the shower. None arrived - handicappef person needed one. Had to request again. Staff not especially helpful for any additional needs. When I requsted an adaptor for USA plugs her response was, "I thought all Americans carried their own."

Stayed for conference and few days holiday. Very convenient location for my work trip and was pleasantly surprised to find great park and gardens at back of hotel and fabulous museum 2 minutes walk. Town for shopping was also just a few minutes away. Hotel was clean and comfortable with very helpful staff. I would love to stay again and would highly recommend it.

We have just stayed at this hotel for the second time which probably says something in itself! The rooms are excellent - spacious, immaculately clean and very functional. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location - literally two minutes from the Schloss and not much more than five minutes from the main shopping area is perfect for a stay in Darmstadt. We don't tend to eat dinner in hotels because there are usually interesting restaurants to explore but we ate once in the 'Bistro Moller' and it was excellent.

Yet another fantastic stay at the Welcome Darmstadt. All the Staff are friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. This time there was some work being carried out on the Bistro but the staff still managed to maintain an excellent level of service form a temporary bar in the reception area. Well done and thanks for a wonderful stay. I was pleased that the hotel now offers some free Wi-Fi.
