I don't understand about bad comments of this hotel, all of them are lies, it's a beautiful place here, i'm very happy. It's better than the other one in Tela, more secure and private. No strange people around and cheaper.

All inclusive food and drinks could be much better, very poor quality, the beds are not the best quality either, everything else was good

Very small complex. Expected more from the workers. When I arrived they don’t even attend to you. You are son your own. The food was not that bad. The bar were open up to 1am. Everything was excellent just the workers need to treat the visitors better. Especially if going from far.

Staff was friendly, loved the pool was so big and easy access to beach.
Cons- beds need to be updated, they were uncomfortable . They have space for pool bar but staff wasn’t attending people on the people had to get All the way out to the other side to get a drink. Buffet was ok, could have more food variations

This place is awesome!! Like a little hidden paradise. The staff is wonderful and so hard-working. The food is incredible, and there were many options to choose from for each meal as well. I highly recommend a short stay here, as the property is beautiful and the evening shows are great. Lots of places to relax and enjoy the views and the refreshing breeze off the water.

Starting off the property had a very nice appearance and the food was a plus, but the rooms on the other hand were a nightmare. The AC was not working properly, the bathrooms were a disaster, the bedroom sheets seemed to be there for decades.

I would say the well-maintained gardens and pool areas were the best parts of our stay in the hotel. However, a few things about the rooms and power disappointed me. For starters, the power went out for an hour. There was light, but no water and we'd just come from the beach and it was almost dinner time. Second, one of the mattresses was sunken and one of my parents could not sleep well. Third, there was no safe box in the room. The brochure the front desk gave us upon checking in said "every room had one" and if not you could ask the front desk to provide it. I went and asked and they told me I could keep my stuff in their safe box. I am sorry but no. Giving out inaccurate information is what bothered me the most. If you cannot provide that service, then update the brochure, please.

The property needs some maintenance, but that's understandable after going over a year without paying guests. The great staff more than made up for it though.

This is a stunning hotel. The room had a beautiful view that looked out at the ocean. The management was excellent. I will stay there again

It was little bit far from expected, but in a beautiful location if going for pleasure. Not adequate for business.
Believe that because it is low season, hotel was pretty empty.

While in Honduras on a mission trip we stayed here for a 2-night excursion with team members. You must have a perspective of Latin American (and third world) standards for hotels to appreciate this resort. Compared to other hotels in Honduras (and I've stayed in many) Palma Real is quite nice. Compared to other all-inclusive resorts in other countries (and I've visited several) Palma Real falls short. Overall, our visit was a nice change of pace and we enjoyed the low key atmosphere.

I booked the hotel for business. They put in a small room that smelled so badly of mildew and the air wasn't working. Sure this was for the pre paid rooms. After complaining, they moved me to a bigger room with a balcony. The customer service was very good. The room was much better but not great.Could have been cleaner, lots of cobwebs and ants. The all inclusive is very nice and a big draw. The food is good. It has entertainment and the pools were clean. I would come back but realize this isn't the best kept hotel, but great time for family

Beaches were murky. Food was bland and redundant. Drinks were a frozen mixture of fructose syrup. Other than the front desk the staff was unfriendly. Mattresses were uncomfortable. Constant power and water outages. Limited activities.
