We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The location is perfect, the room was cozy and clean. Special thanks to Marco at the reception for his warm welcome and assistance. We'll definitely come back again!

Lovely stay. Centrally located and fab along the canal to have a drink in evenings. Breakfast was tasty loads of variety fresh fruit , juices and pastries aswell as hot and usual continental choices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again

I stayed for 9 nights and had a great time. It was really convenient, just a 3 minute walk to Piazza San Marco, yet it was still quite quiet. The free breakfast was very good. Staff were terrific. Wifi was fast. Will go back again.

Great service, facilities and location

Wow is all I can say. Our Junior suite was perfect. I can not say enough about the staff. They answered my many questions before we arrived and treated us like royalty while we were there.

Amazing staff couldn’t have been better

Wonderful hotel with the perfect central location and THE BEST staff. They were so helpful with everything we needed. The room was so beautiful. One thing to note is that it can be loud in the morning with canal traffic, but that didn't bother us as it felt like being part of life in Venice. 😊 Highly recommend!

Nice location and friendly staff. Room was clean and well maintained, however perhaps due to the nature of the city, facility wise it was quite old and somewhat rundown. Overall pleasant stay, and convenient location, but not a lot of view.

The hotel was in a nice location. Staff was good from the receptionist and the 3 Filipinos who worked in tne dining area and the houskeeper were amazing. Our complaints is that our room is hot even with the electricfan that was provided. The AC didnt work well.. Also the carpet in our room has a big stain. Breakfast was good !

Classic Venetian style room with cute balcony to watch gondolas go by. Wish I could upload pics but app says the file size is too large. Francesca was lovely, gave us simple directions. Hotel sent email before stay to set up a Water taxi from airport which went straight to hotel. Breakfast was delightful with charcuterie, cheese, espresso and pastries. In the evening order drinks and sit by canal to watch boats and relax. Would stay here again if we visit venice again. Great location-close to everything!

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Highly recommend the water taxi from the airport to the hotel (which the hotel arranged) and back again. The taxi took us straight to the hotel’s jetty. It saved us a lot of time and hassle with luggage, finding our way, etc. Marco was a great host, making us a coffee after a busy day sightseeing. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for walking to the major sights. We booked water bus tickets and did a round trip of the Canal on Line 2, leaving just in front of the Doge’s Palace. The Rialto Bridge was in walking distance too. Our room was very well equipped with a mini fridge and safe, plenty of towels and slippers (a lovely touch!) and toiletries. My husband thought the mattress was a bit hard but I slept very well. Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice of rolls, hams, cheeses, pastries, jams, toast, scrambled eggs and sausages as well as juices, tea and coffee. We welcomed the aircon as it was extremely hot during our stay. This is a lovely hotel and we would definitely stay there again, hopefully for a few more nights next time as we didn’t get to see everything in the time we had.

Staff went above and beyond for us, booked meal when we missed train so we would still have dinner. Got us private water taxi to the hotel. We didn't want to leave!

We had a great two days at this hotel. The family room worked well for our family of four and the staff was so helpful during our visit. Walkable to everything you would enjoy in Venice. Will return for sure one day. Carrie from NY

What a wonderful hotel perfect location near St Marc’s square. The staff are amazing and the rooms are very clean. The old rooms are so cute and the water dock is perfect for collection back and forth to the airport. Loved it

Elena and the staff at Hotel Becher are always a high point and the hotel always feels like home.

Location was excellent - walkable distance to St. Mark’s square and also to the other side to the water bus. Excellent service with staff at reception. Breakfast was excellent. Room is on the smaller side but is expected for the city.

A perfect place to stay for a couple of nights in Venice. The staff are very welcoming, informative, and profesional. The room was very clean and perfectly furnished with a fan and A/C to cool us in the August heat. Breakfast on the canal was the cherry ontop of this romantic retreat.

Perfect location, staff went above and beyond throughout the stay, would recommend, and would difinitely book this hotel again. 👌

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Great little hotel patio on canal to sit and have breakfast or glass of wine at night. Great location near shopping. Would stay again

Lovely hotel situated on a canal in the heart of Venice , all the main attractions are within a few minutes walk so perfectly located .
All of the staff are friendly, attentive and will help you with anything you need ,
We had a deluxe room overlooking the canal which was great as could watch the gondola go by
Room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable
Breakfast offered a good selection of some hot and cold dishes
There is a small dock which is used for the private water taxis ,you can also sit out there with a drink watching all the boats come by
We took the water taxi to the airport and it’s a short walk to the hotel
Would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel had one of the best breakfasts and coffee that I have ever had at a hotel anywhere. The staff and service is the best. Strongly recommend taking a water taxi straight to the hotel door on the canal. Excellent stay.

Great location. Includes a very nice breakfast with many choices. Staff is extraordinary…friendly, helpful. Moderate price especially considering its location. Has a little dock on this side canal. Perfect!

The property was lovely. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are very small but this is typical for Italy. The breakfast had a nice variety of European and American options (eggs and bacon). There are a few tables outside where you could sit and watch the gondolas go by. It was very hot and the air conditioning is not strong. They did give us a fan so that helped cool the room down. Overall, would recommend this hotel for a lovely short stay in Venice.

Staff was amazing!!!!! Very helpful. Breakfast was good. Staff helped us get taxi boats.
Hotel is old. Furniture was cute but old. It felt like we were in The Beauty and The Beast movie!! Room was very small and AC not working well. Staff helped us and provided a fan. I guess the very nice staff compensated the issues with the hotel itself.

Overall is a great hotel, convenient location, very clean and the staff is the best you can find in Italy, especial thank you to Amin and Armand in the front desk, they were always very helpful and happy. The breakfast was an added bonus.
The only reason I don’t give a 5 star is because our air conditioning was not working properly and it was very hot in Venice,

Our checking was smooth and the guy was working there at checking desk was very nice and helpful and friendly his name was Amin such a good person and we definitely come back to this hotel if we decided to visit Venice again in future.

Small boutique type of hotel right on one of the canals. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and had a tiny but lovely balcony to look out on the canal. The room was quite small and a bit crowded but it had what I needed. The breakfast was great and I was able to sit outside right on the canal, which made my day! Breakfast area is quite tiny, but somehow manageable. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the grand canal, down several tiny little streets full of great shops, so it felt just off the beaten path enough to be away from crowds, but still accessible. (It was only about a 5 minute walk to San Marco).

Very clean for area. Close to everything. Staff was exceptional

The staff were absolutely wonderful and I got the feeling of being an 18 century Venice when Kazanova was enjoying it and it is located exactly across a little bridge where Mozart lived. If it’s good enough from outside it’s good enough for me

Exceptional stay at Hotel Becher! From the very first welcome e mail to the last second “saying so long” exceptional staff, service and simply hospitality. Front desk Hotel arranged for all requests such as special occasion, reservations and taxi arrangement. I really appreciate YOU. Room was very nice in Venetian style, clean and had all I need. Quiet and very pleasant to be in . Don’t forget to try breakfast, it is very nice. The evening drinks option is soo great. Can’t ask for better than sipping Prosecco or if you wish they have nice selection of drinks. Chatting with Marco at the outside porch they have looking over the canal. Thank you Hotel Becher for unforgettable memories!!!! Amazing!! Can’t thank you enough!!!!

Hotel staff were very nice. Hotel needs a facelift and it will be closing this fall to renovate to a 4 star. Location is great and breakfast was a nice light way to start the day. My air conditioning stopped working on my last night, I didn’t report it until check out as it was manageable for me until morning.
1.5
Hotel Becher is in a great location next to the Phoenix theatre, walking distance to St Mark's Square, and more. The staff was very warm and friendly.
However, the accommodations could use a facelift. The room and all the fabrics, drapes, carpets etc were worn and dingy. And we recommend you skip the included breakfast--the food was not appetizing.

Nice hotel. Prime location.

It is a nice hotel, very nice stuff , convenient location. But do not go for the smallest room. It is so tiny. Check air conditioning. I was out firstly into a tiny room where aritcondotooning was nit working. I had too change twice. Eventually I was upgraded to a bigger toom( still very small) with working air conditioning . But will use this hotel again , possibly .
