Most amazing experience! Every member of staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The spa is incredible, food delicious and couvent itself is stunning!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived and parked, we felt relaxed and stress-free. There are no minuses at Le Couvent des Minimes, only plusses.
The surroundings are beautiful, and entering the convent is simply a "wow" experience. The lovely scent and the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for a perfect stay. Everything was taken care of from the moment we stepped in.
We arrived before our room was available, so we were introduced to the surroundings and got to listen to the history of the couvent. Then, we were told that we could enjoy the 2500 m² spa until the room is ready.
The room is beautifully decorated with its calming the colors, furniture, refreshing drinks, and L'Occitane products. :) The bed was super comfortable, be sure to have a restful night's sleep.
The breakfast was just delicious, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that catered to every taste.
The dining experience at the Pamparigouste restaurant was exceptional. The cuisine is exquisite, with a menu that showcased both local flavors and gourmet dishes.
The spa treatments were a highlight of our stay.
One of the great aspects of our stay was the noon check-out time, allowing us to enjoy our morning without rushing. If you wish, you can still enjoy the spa, have a good swim, or just get some sun and relax.

The staff at the reception were really friendly and helpful, which was impressive. The facilities are beautiful and the rooms are clean. But I had the worst experience at the restaurant. I visited alone on 3/30 to plan a group meal, and the male staff member in charge of my table was embarrassing and rude, which made the dinner I had high expectations so sad. First, I tried to discuss the wine to accompany the meal, but the staff stopped me and said they would call the wine server. But after a while, he came back with white wine that had already been poured into a glass. “The wine manager said this would suit me well.” Will your next red wine be poured right before your eyes? No, once again he bring poured wine glass. I didn't want to ruin the mood, so I just took it, but it didn't go well with the food and the wine had a dirty finish, but I endured it. The main course was the chef's special of the day, lamb, and the lamb I ordered rare was cold! The tin pot containing the food wasn't warm to the touch, but the Potato that came with it were warm. The waiting time between meals was so long and I tried to understand. But The food came out just as I was about to finish drinking the white wine, and after waiting for a long time to finish the food, it was cleaned up, and after. a long wait, the chef's special was cold. The red wine to accompany this does not arrive until more than 1/3 of the lamb is eaten. Just two main dishes and it took 2.5 hours In a 5 star hotel.

The Spa is mindblowing: beautifully designed and taking full advantage of the environnement. The hotel itself offers a serene and elegant atmosphere.

It’s very remote but a beautiful place and a wonderful stay.

Love this place so much I stayed twice in one week. Simply the best. Such a peaceful atmosphere and wonderful staff.

This hotel is beautifully appointed. The settings for the restaurants were lovely and the wine lists extensive enough that you can find one you love. However, the food, while very good, is extremely expensive for what you get. The housekeeping services and room service were not up to Relais and Chateaux standards. The best part of the stay were the picnics that we made up on the terraced gardens. Staff were happy to assist.

Spa manager Marianne was absolutely the best, who helped fit us in with treatments at the last minute, and helped a us understand which products we needed. We enjoyed our masseuse Deborah also. The junior suite was great and views and walks were lovely. Staff very helpful with parking and luggage. We thought the lack of moderate food choices was ridiculous and ate away from property.

A beautiful property in a quiet location. The ancient building is complimented by modern furniture and fittings. The staff are lovely and the food and wine in the restaurant were wonderful. Would love to come back one day!

We stayed in a beautiful Restanques Deluxe (garden view), the room was spacious and quiet and with an amazing view of the hills around Mane. The hotel has two incredible restaurants that we really enjoyed, a gourmet 1* Michelin and a more casual bistro but that also seems very gourmet. Pool is extremely relaxing and convinced us to stay there an entire day. Staff was always helpful and friendly.
Location is fairly convenient but not so close to other Provance areas as Avignon and Gordes.
The only negative points were that the SPA wasn't included in the price, so you had to pay a small fee just to access the indoor pool and that not even a bottle of water was offered every day in the room with such an hot summer, the only option was to pay 8€ at the bar.
Nevertheless highly recommended and we'll try to stay again.

What not to like.
The highlight is the verandah for breakfast and bistro dining overlooking the countryside was fabulous.
Swimming pool and facilities were first class, with good poolside service.
The cuisine was excellent.
The staff were friendly and professionally efficient .

It was a great stay, despite the fact that internet wasn’t working in our room, which was very important for us. Also room was very small, we could hardly get in there with our luggage. Everything else was wonderful.

Although this was a beautiful location and facility, I could never recommend it as a place to stay in so far as our type of room (deluxe) was concerned. The "bathroom" was comprised of glass panels with no privacy from the room even as regards the toilet cabinet. It was an extremely off-putting and dysfunctional design. Although it looked attractive, it was not practical for us. Also, the "bathtub" was comprised of plexiglass panels (as far as I could tell) and was absolutely enormous, wasteful and uncomfortable. Not usable as a bathtub at all. This place was unfortunately all about novel modern design vs.practicality and comfort. What a shame because the building itself is beautiful and the location near Forcalquier is outstanding. Cannot fault the service staff all of whom were very personable and pleasant.

Les Couvent is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in. The renovation of the public areas is stylish & comfortable. The grounds are special. We ate at the Bistro & it’s superb good.
The staff were lovely & helpful.
It’s a great hotel.

Beautiful hotel that marries the old classical convent architecture with new highly modern decor.

I didn’t like the quality of food offered in restaurant for the price. There were also limited options. The stafff were nice at the hotel and they were very accommodating when we asked for a more private room. They offered us an upgraded room that was more private. The rooms were recently renovated.

Nice hotel But Too modern for a hotel in the area of Provence, is like you don’t Feel where you are...neither in the food, non in the decoration

Wonderfull hotel . More apt to be a spa since the staff was not very knowledgeable about anything. Go relax but don't expect service or good wifi.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful design and great location however rooms very small, limited room amenities and service throughout is of a very poor level.

I stayed here for one with my daughter whilst travelling to the riviera. Upon check in we were shown to our deluxe double which was very modern and lovely but absolutely tiny - no bath - which after looking at the Expedia description of the room type was incorrect. I spoke to reception and they moved us to a more provencale room but thankfully much bigger. Dinner in the bistro was not exactly bistro food - much more sophisticated - and whilst they said my daughter could order anything the mushroom ravioli she ordered came covered in a very rich sauce which was disappointing as she didnt enjoy it because of the sauce. Breakfast was lovely, service throughout very good and pool beautiful.

Very few guests at hotel
Despite this put in tiny room up a lot of stairs
Staff very arrogant and Iaccommodating
Worst hotel experience on our trip
Every other hotel wonderful friendly people
This hotel not worthy of Chateau Relais Brand !

beautiful place and nicely decorated. very chic. this is the type of place you want to hang out at the hotel for a few days. the pool, spa, restaurant, etc. Service in the restaurant was good, but for a very high end and expensive resort, it was not where it should have been. However, we would go back. it was a lovely experience.

Rooms are tiny and the staff and management are rude and unprofessional. The conditions of this hotel are that of a 3 star. Management should not bother responding to this as we tried to rectify all of our issues with them and they were beyond unhelpful!
Stay away!

Wonderful hotel in pristine location. Has all the necessary facilities to keep guests busy. A bit farther away from main cities in Provence but worthwhile traveling longer from such a nice base.

Extremely disappointing stay. Beautiful hotel but the service is far below any other relais chateau we have stayed at. We found the staff to be rude and not at all helpful. For the price and a 5 star hotel we didnt feel we got our moneys worth.

The converted convent makes a superb hotel and both the facilities and the staff are first rate. The only negative point was that the menu in the main restaurant doesn't change often enough but the food is excellent.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful setting with staff who make you feel so relaxed and welcome. Food was fantastic as were all the facilities. Make sure you take a walk up to the top of the hill!

From the moment we pulled up to the gates I knew this hotel was very special. The restoration, renovation and attention to historical detail was outstanding! Our room was a little small but I guess, as a former convent, all rooms would have been humble in size. We brought our dog with us and she was very welcome in the entire hotel, restaurants and all. I have always had overall wonderful experiences at Relais and Chateaux hotels and this was no exception. We enjoyed the wonderful SPA and the very large swimming pool. The grounds and surrounding countryside, including the local village, were stunning. I would definitely return to this hotel and have already told many of my friends.
