The entire staff made me feel like "familia!" And it was sincere from each member of the staff.
Bravo y gracias Villa Guadalupe! Muchas gracias.

Really nice little hotel outside of the busy city center. Great view of the coast from high atop a hill. Very friendly staff and excellent restaurant. We had a rental car so we were looking for easy, free parking. Only complaint would be the hard mattress but that wouldn't stop us from staying again. If you’re looking to get out if the city for day trips this is a great option.

The staffs of hotel are attentive and kind. The property is quite old, but well managed. The view from the hotel is stunning.

Situated on the top of the mountain which makes the location unique. Nice view.

A very nice hotel with a great view. The staff was welcoming and the restaurant had excellent food. You can relax in the pool and enjoy the view of Malaga. If you have a car and want a good base to explore Malaga and the surroundings, I can recommend this place.

The hotel is on a hill with a magnificient view to Malaga city center, approx 15 mins drive by car from the center. It's quite small but has a nice personal touch. Good room with a spacious balcony. Excellent restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. Pool was a nice addition. Friendly and service-oriented staff. We used it as a base for day trips in the Andalucia region. As the hotel is a few kilometers outside of the city center a car is a necessity, but it's easy to park at the hotel.

Great styling of the facilities, wonderful staff and immaculately clean. There not much to do in the surrounding neighborhood, but it is very near to both the airport and train station.

Located on a hill on the outskirts of Malaga, this place is more like a Bed and Breakfast. The room and bathroom were clean. The view from the room and the terrace was nice. Our room had a loft with a bed for the third adult. The front desk staff were courteous. Unlike many other hotels in Southern Spain, this one offers four set breakfast menus to choose from. We had the continental breakfast which was nice. Parking was free and was right in front of the property on a gravel patch. A good stop on the way from Granada to Cadiz. We stopped in Malaga so that we could see Gibraltar on our way to Cadiz.

Beautiful boutique hotel above Málaga. 15 minute cab ride from the airport. The views, art and restaurant are all top notch.

The aspect was stunning and its proximity to the airport was helpful.

Property was clean, staff were charming, room was comfortable. Views were spectacular and there was a lovely pool for cooling off. Breakfast was very nice.

Room small but adequate. Continental breakfast the same 3 choices every day. Pool small, but nice, except for lots of flies from next door dump. Also the hotel charged 2 euros for pool towels. Great views from mediocre expensive restaurant.

We had diner one evening in the restaurant - well prepared food, and again, friendly staff. We can recommend both staying and dining at Villa Guadalupe.

Our stay was just what we were looking for arrived in afternoon, hotel had lovely location up on hill, amazing view over city, restaurant was fantastic

Great hotel for adults, not so much for families with kids. Not a lot of parking and weekends can be a challenge if the restaurant is full. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Secluded and not in a touristy area. We wanted it like that. The views from the balcony are fantastic!

We flew to Malaga, stayed in the Hotel Villa Guadalupe and loved it. We had our daughter with us and they couldn’t have done more for her. They had a nice pool, amazing food and it was a short journey to Malaga Centre by bus

Used as a stopover between Malaga and a week in the mountains, it proved an excellent choice. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome, explain what they could offer and ensure we had a pleasant stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Its not, though, near the centre but therefore is ideal for peace and quiet and also for an easy getaway when leaving.

We had spent ten days on the Andalusia tour at a number of 4 star hotels arrived here a little early, but were treated like long lost friends. Spent a long afternoon in the great secluded quiet pool area most relaxing afternoon in years.Made the very wise choice of booking for dinner dont miss this opportunity it is a wonderful restaurant with a very special chef. Could not have had a better ending to our tour, very lucky with this choice. This is a must booking before you climb aboard your plane home.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was small but great - we had it to ourselves! The whole hotel excellent as was dinner. Our table had a beautiful view of night over Malaga.
Would highly recommend a stay here.

We only had one night here, however would have liked to stay longer. It's a little bit out of the centre, but has amazing view over Malaga, and it's easy to get a taxi into the centre. And there is parking at the hotel. Staff were so helpful, could not have been better. We ate in the restaurant overlooking Malaga, fantastic food, great service. Highly recommend it. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars for comfort is because there wasn't a fridge in the room. Rooms had lovely balconies, too.

Stayed here in March 2014. Amazing hotel with excellent staff. Beautiful location floating above the city. We stay in hotels all over and this will always be one of our favourites.

We were so surprised when the taxi pulled up to this great hotel. We had never booked via Expedia before this trip and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Malaga Spain. The hotel has a beautiful setting and a very comfortable feel. The hotel staff is excellent. They really made us feel welcomed. Our dinning experience was terrific. Wonderful food, beautiful view and great service. This is a great hotel if you do not want to stay in the heart of Malaga. Just a few minute taxi ride and you there.

A lovely hotel situated in the hills just outside of Malaga. Lovely staff who were only too happy to help. You will definitely need a car in order to stay here as it is located approximately 15 minutes by car outside of Malaga. We had a lovely secluded balcony with a great view. The only 'criticism' was the fact that we could not use the pool as it had not been cleaned yet - otherwise a very enjoyable stay!

Lovely little boutique hotel (11 rooms) situated in the hills just outside Malaga with great views of Malaga bay and fully worthy of the 4 star rating. Very good food and service. You do need a car though, as a it is a little way out of town and once you get back to the hotel at night there is no local places to walk to. Staff very helpful i.e. booked our Alhambra tickets for us while we were there.

Very close to town (Malaga). We had a car, so we drove straight there with GPS. Girl at front desk was very helpful and nice (I think she was from Canada). Room was very good by European standards. Excellent views from room and the restaurant. Breakfast was included and was very good. We even had a homemade omelet. Highly recommended!!
