The ideal accommodation in Telluride is just a stone's throw away. Dine splendidly at Ania's table. There's no need to drive; everything's within walking distance. Plus, the gondola ride to the city or mountain top is a mere 3-minute walk away. Looking forward to come back.

The property is in a fantastic location with a quick walk to the gondola and several restaurants. The staff was kind and helpful. Our unit (3 bedroom) was in the least ideal location. We were wedged between the elevator, gym and front desk. It was so loud when people were talking at the front desk or elevator and when someone was running on the treadmill in the gym our entire condo shook. The unit was SO hot and the AC wasn’t operational. The pool was filled with dirt and bugs. Overall it was a very expensive trip where I was regretting where we booked. I think this unit is not worth the cost honestly. Overall we were underwhelmed.

Great location with a short walk to the Gondola. We truly enjoyed the intimacy of this small up upscale hotel. The staff were extremely helpful with recommendations on were to shop and dine in town. We loved every minute of our stay and plan on coming back to Luminere soon!

My boyfriend and I don't really take fancy trips because we just can't afford it on the regular. But we had a lot of money saved and decided to see if there was a deal on something in Telluride since we adore it and live a few hours away. My birthday is around Thanksgiving which doesn't offer much vacation opportunity and my bf has never had a real birthday before so when we saw a great deal for Lumiere, we just jumped on it. When we got there, we found out our room had gotten upgraded. We had booked a normal studio style hotel room and got upgraded to a single bedroom suite which felt like a surprise straight out of a 90s sitcom. Every single staff member was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and so very kind. I work in the service industry and their service was something I will absolutely take inspiration from going forward. And when we decided we would consider extending our stay, they even offered the same rate we booked the original room for even though it clearly was worth A LOT more than that. Just everything was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. It's a two minute walk from La Pizzeria in Mountain Village (which makes AMAZING pizza by the way) and a 5 minute walk from the Gondola into Telluride itself. Not only was the service amazing, the convenience of location was incredible too. I would definitely stay here again in the future, even if I had to pay the full price per night for the room. 10 out of 10 experience. The Lumiere is absolutely incredible.

The room was very nice and had great views of the mountains and ski area. The staff was excellent and was extremely helpful. They even got us a reservation to a restaurant we had previously tried to make one with earlier that day by ourselves but were told they booked up. They rock! Charlotte in the restaurant downstairs knew i liked ice tea so she would make me some every morning. She was wonderful.

We've stayed here during off season 3 times now, but likely it was our last time as the staff are overboard in harassing you versus allowing people on vacation the ability to not have to interact constantly with them unless there is something needed. You can't even enter the hotel without having to pass by multiple times by desperate staff being incredibly invasive just to get to your room.

We were pleasantly surprised to be updated to a suite complete with a gourmet kitchen, two bathrooms, fireplace and balcony. Our shower was outfitted with a rain shower head, and body sprays. Everyone from the bellhop to the concierge was kind and informative. We are most definitely coming back just to stay at the Lumiere Telluride!

it was a wonderful stay. it is a very high altitude. I think 9500 feet. staff was excellent. rooms were fabulous. it had a steamer shower I wanted to take home. a superb place to stay. we loved it.

Upon arrival we were informed alititude sickness could occur due to the hotels higher elevation. My mother was affected by the altitude. Unfortunately the hotel had no amenities for room service and everything in the town was closed. When I informed the front desk of her condition they could offer only water. I was able to locate an oxygen delivery service online on my own accord as the hotel offered no assistance. The next day we descended per doctors orders but the hotel would not refund the reservation due to emergent conditions. I would recommend staying in town at a lower elevation with access to amenities. The hotel is more for extended stay skiing but does not have the staff to provide luxury service. For breakfast we went across the street as the hotel breakfast included was limited.

Read all the great reviews and expected an incredible stay- the Lumiere and staff delivered in full! Great location predisposes to an enjoyable stay, but the staff goes above and beyond to ensure it. Felt like a bed and breakfast, but with luxury amenities, relatively new construction, and great views. Will definitely come back again.

First let me say I've stayed in some nice hotels in nice places...Vail, Aspen, Park City Deer Valley...and the Lumiere simply beat them all. First of all, they surprise upgraded us to a one bedroom suite. which was totally awesome... the room had a refridgerator, a Wolf Stove, microwave...everything! The staff was always smiling and helpful...the place is small so they know your name. Just couldn't have had a better experience. My girlfriend is a beginner skier so they actually had someone walk her and her skis down to the lift when the hill to ski down seemed to steep for her.

Most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at! Top notch in every regard from the moment you check in. The staff is all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the area. The rooms are comfortable and make you feel at home, while at the same time luxurious and well put together. I would highly recommend the Lumiere to anyone looking for a very nice place to stay while enjoying Telluride without any reservations. Another huge advantage of this resort is it's close proximity to the gondola which is only minutes from the front door which can take you into the town of Telluride. Spectacular views of the mountains from the some of the rooms.

We only needed an overnight room and I originally booked the smaller room at a lower level. At the last minute I decided to upgrade so we could get the mountain views that wouldn't have been available with my original reservation. So glad I did! If for no other reason than the view, it was worth it. Telluride/MV received 4" of snow the night before and the views were incredible. The room was very nice and we loved the decor. The bed was so comfortable and had an abundance of blankets and covers. We slept so well. We didn't do any cooking in the residence (the staff called the room) but it was equipped with a Wolf range! Shower had a steam option that was so nice. And Jose met us at the door, saw us in, gave us a tour and helped see us out. Great guy who was quick to smile, turned on our fireplace, adjusted room heat.
