Toilet was still dirty. Looked like they just clean the top and that was it. It had Dookie on it. Took 15 minutes or more for the hot water to get hot so that you could shower even washing your hands.

Overall the stay was great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The couches were super old and uncomfortable. I was told multiple times that i could request late check out the last day in the morning but when i asked that morning i was told "we dont offer late cneck out". So that was disappointing.

We are repeat customers at Sandy Beach and highly recommend it. We stayed in an 1-bedroom Oceanfront room. It doesn't seem right to call it a room... it's like a condo or apartment. We couldn't have asked for more. In our room, the bedroom was a separate room that you did not need to pass through. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked, so we were able to make our meals and tea. If you're looking to save money and have some good quality meals, you have everything that you need here: a large fridge, oven/stove, microwave, a dishwasher, and many pots/pans/utensils/plates/glasses/etc. The bathroom is large with very generous counter and storage space. The living/dining area has a table for eating, a couch and chair to watch the large TV, and a Murphy bed if needed. The balcony is spacious and the view is EXCELLENT...especially for sunrises. Within minutes, you can be down on the beach and are within walking distance of the boardwalk and many other attractions. The resort has multiple pools including a large one for kids. Our room was so homey and comfortable. With a room like this, you can just relax in your room or on the balcony and feel like you have a home right on the ocean. This was not our first time staying at Sandy Beach, and we sure hope it isn't the last!

Beautiful resort. Needs some updates here and there. Wanted to relax in the bathtub in our room. Noticed it has a different shade of white on the sides versus the bottom. Touched it, and it was DIRT. Who tub sides were dirty. Cleaned it myself with dish soap and wash cloth. So at least it’s left better for the next guess. Updated stainless steel appliances were nice. AC worked great in both rooms. Looks like nice new title floors. Balcony could use new carpet (or no carpet). But the views amazing, even from the third floor. Multiple pools and hot tubs was nice on a busy afternoon. Plenty of space to spread out in the waters or the lounge chairs. Walking distance to a small (over priced = $17 for sunscreen) general store, and bars and restaurants. Little amusement like park across the street. Will stay again, just prepare myself with cleaning products.

We came to MB for a ball tourney but extended our stay due to Hurricane Helene devastating our hometown. The hotel was perfect for us. We stayed at a more upscale (higher priced) resort for the weekend and moved to Sandy Beach on Tuesday. We stayed 3 nights there and actually enjoyed it more, not to mention it was a third of the price. At the other place we had a king and pullout couch. At Sandy Beach, we had 2 queens and a full Murphy bed. Definitely will visit and stay here again! Staff was great! Pools were always clean, relaxing and also, the beach access was perfect!

The hotel is a basic individual owner rental condo, rooms and hallways are worn and dated but clean. Staff and Managers make the guest feel like owners. Parking can be a challenge if you special needs, no real onsite parking. But there is parking at your own risk

Terrific stay at an excellent location on the beach! Outdoor pool area was exquisite... well maintained with fantastic furniture. All the conveniences of home provided in the unit which was very spacious. Only downside was the location of parking. You have to cross busy Ocean Blvd. to walk to the very deep parking lot. It is great that it is free, but for folks with any walking impairments, it is a trek! It would've been nice to know that before booking.

Not bad for the discount rate that I paid for one bedroom. Was clean and had everything that I needed. Property is showing some wear, but to be expected for the constant turnover and exposure to salt water. Housekeeping was friendly, front desk employees seemed to be annoyed to be bothered and young man constantly had in earbuds while working desk. Very unprofessional. Walkable to lots of things but wished resort offered more than one vending and one soda machine. They are missing a huge opportunity. Options of pools were nice and chair/umbrella on beach available to rent thru third party.

Nice location within 5-10 minutes from activities , restaurant/bars, and shopping. Air quality isn’t the best in the rooms not allergy and asthma friendly. The room wasn’t the cleanest it appeared to be surfaced cleaned. The floor was filthy.. I ended up using hot water and a rag to wipe them and the rag/water was black afterward… Pillows were super uncomfortable and the beds are lumpy. The walls were super thin. Pools are small and filled with children. Nice beach access.

We loved how close the resort was to the ocean! Literally walked straight onto the beach. The units definitely need updates. Parking is across the street. Be prepared to pay for beach service or have no where to sit. This was extremely upsetting to us. The kitchen had no dishwasher. House keeping was very polite and helpful.

I truly liked the fact that I didnt need a car. Everything from fitness room to the restaurant on the corner, a general store, clothing store, and carnival all within 200ft. I fell asleep on the balcony just about every night listening to the ocean. It was our 20th anniversary and I thought being on the 2nd floor would put a damper on vacation, but it didn't. We can not wait to go back💯

The condo had everything I was looking for: spacious, oceanfront view, full kitchen, washer & dryer. The only con is the bed was really uncomfortable and not steady. It squeaked every time one of us moved (even my 5 yo kiddo). I would definitely book with them again since it’s our tradition to come to Myrtle Beach every year this time, but just hope we’ll get a more comfortable bed next time.

The very first time we went to open the main door to leave our room, the door knob pulled off. I have video, our sink was clogged, & our ac worked on and off. if you didn’t go to the pool in the morning, you will be swimming in nasty pool water. Seems like they only clean it before it opens. I will say maintenance always came very fast like within 2 mins of the call. Kids everywhere! But the beach and oceanfront views was very nice. & the pool opened until 11 which is pretty late & we had access to the beach all night. Would never stay again but we made the most of it tho.

Light fixture was broken, I have to call for service. Every middle of the night around 12-3am was not able to sleep because of noise from upstairs, beside the room as well. Poor insulation. Molds around the sliding door coming oit of the oceanview. Sofa dirty.

While we liked the ease to get to the beach and the parking lot across the street, the only time we saw housekeeping was to give us more towels. They said they only tidy up once every 3 days but we were there for 5 days a they were never there. Overall it was a nice stay as long as you don’t mind zero amenities like breakfast or housekeeping.
