We stayed here for 4 nights after staying in Cala D'or for 4 nights. The staff at this hotel are extremely unhelpful and have a bad attitude. They are reluctant to acknowledge you and do their best to make you feel uncomfortable. It's like you are a burden to them and an inconvenience. This is not a family friendly hotel either. So if you are travelling with children I would recommend to look elsewhere. It is a shame as the hotel is in a good location and is fairly modern. However if you are like us and people help to make your holiday then I would avoid at all costs! Speaking of costs for a hotel that is more than £200 per night I would expect to be looked after a lot more than we were here!

Very good hotel and amenities. Great location right on sea front.

Lovely hotel in the best location. Breakfast has a great selection on offer and never hugely busy. The roof top bar is not to be missed fabulous views and a good list of cocktails on offer. Overall a fantastic stay!

We received a gift bag from the hotel. Lovely place right on the water, lovely people. We will return.

Great location and lovely room. However, the shower was outdated and flooded the bathroom. The pool was very small and it almost impossible to get a sun lounger unless you wake up before 9am and queue for one. People will “reserve” a sun lounger with a towel and leave it there all day.

The location was perfect! Rooms and bathrooms need updating. Pool area was great!

Hotel is on the beachfront wonderful views of the bay. Good choice of food in the restaurant and great quality. Hotel is clean superior sea view room is a must.

This property was very cute and convenient. It’s right on the boardwalk and around so many different restaurants and shops. Also has direct access to a beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only negative was the air conditioner in the room was weak. You needed to ensure the balcony door is completely closed to ensure it turns on and even then, you don’t feel it as strong. Still a great place and great location.

Excellent location. Just across the road from the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. There is a great rooftop bar for adults only. The pool is lovely and clean. Possibly need to enforce the no saving sunbeds policy more but there were always some areas to sit in. Lovely balconies with a sea view.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, great location right on the beach, overall a nice and relaxing holiday

The service level at the reception and especially the bar is without a doubt the worst, I have ever experienced.‘
The staff are surly , obstructive and basically don’t care for the customer in anyway . From the chefs in the restaurant to the pool side bar staff the attitudes are appalling.
Do not visit this hotel

Extremely poor quality / price for this hotel.
400 euros for 2 adults and 2 children per night.
The hotel room was super worn down. The aircon worked sometimes and stopped multiple times during the night. The sound isolation between rooms was non existing and worst in the bathroom area. You could hear all from talking to peeing from your neighbours…
The beds and pillows were also terrible.
The size of the room for 4 people was tight that even with 2 suitcases there wasn’t room to place them and put the cloths.
The pool had 40/50 sun beds with maybe 20 / 30 umbrellas/sun shades for potentially 400/500 guests??? So yes welcome to being ready at 8:50 to run and save your spot for the day..,
The breakfast was just of a charter hotel. Understaffed.. 1 cook on the floor egg station, was never enough. He (Ivan) was super good and fast but during peaks he couldn’t follow. The staff in the floor was great but sometimes it seemed also they were a bit understaff.
The quality of the products of the buffet was just ok.
1 elevator for 7 floors which didn’t work on several occasions.
I just don’t know how they can get 4 stars
The positive, location close to the beach and the staff.. towel service for the pool.

Excellent location, to reach all the local transport, food and recreational options that Port de Soller offers.

Unfortunately the only good thing I have to say about this hotel is the location, especially if you like to be central.
The rest of our stay did not live up to expectations and I would say that the price we paid did not balance with the experience.
I would not give this hotel 4 stars. I happened to stay in 2 different 4 star hotels during my stay in Port de Sollér and they were non comparable from both a quality and a service level.
These are in particular the things that were disappointing:
The pool area - it is simply too small for the size of the hotel. The pool opens at 9am. People are queuing from 8:30 to ensure to get a sunbed and a parasol and from 9 until 4 you can forget about getting a free bed.
The pool is also too small for the number of people and the water was not that clean.
The breakfast and dinner - the selection was ok but the quality not as expected. At breakfast they couldn’t keep up with the demand for the hot food so it was mostly an empty buffet.
The room - the decor of the room is nice, however it is worn. Our bathroom door could hardly close due to damage. Several lightbulbs didn’t work and the extra bed was hard as a rock.
The service - the staff in the restaurant were running around and hardly had time to help. When they did they were unfortunately often rude.
We addressed the above feedback points with the reception staff and were told that this is what can be expected during busy season… so no or little.

The location was great.Port Soller is beautiful and Eden is in the heart of it. We had a room for 2 adults 2 kids and it was OK in size but has almost no closet space. Just a small closet with hangers. It was uncomfortable to keep our clothes in our luggage during our week long stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has good options and is abundant. Lunch menu at the pool is limited but good. Plenty of good drinks and cocktails. You cannot visit the roof terrace if you have kids. The pool is always full. It’s almost impossible to find a sunbed. People is allowed to smoke in the pool area. Elevator can get busy at times. The place is usually safe and quiet but the last few nights we had a noisy neighbor. There is a great area to store bikes and public parking is conveniently situated across the hotel. Plenty of dining options in the area. Sushi at the roof was surprisingly good and you can order to go and eat in your bedroom terrace if you have kids.

Hotel Eden: Needs Improvement, but Has Highlights
My stay at Hotel Eden had several issues that need attention:
1. Bad Smell: The bedroom had a strong sewage odour, likely from drain problems. This needs urgently addressing.
2. Poor Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was low quality, comparable to cheap wholesale food. Even the cereals and breads were disappointing.
3. Lack of Sun Loungers: Finding a sun lounger was almost impossible after 9:30 am. During our 6-day stay, we only had two loungers together once. The hotel ensures that guests do not reserve loungers with towels, but we did not see this rule enforced.
4. **Poor Soundproofing:** The rooms were noisy, with sounds from the corridors and adjacent rooms constantly disturbing us, day and night. Better soundproofing is essential.
However, there are some positive aspects:
1. **Roof Terrace:** An underrated gem with unrestricted views of the bay, an excellent choice of cocktails, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service.
2. **Excellent Location:** Possibly the best hotel location in the whole of Port de Soller.
3. **Car Parking:** Available with a reservation a few days before arrival. Alternatively, public parking is available in the same building.

Have had a lovely stay at the Hotel Eden in the beautiful resort of Port de Soller. Can’t fault the general decor of the hotel, very modern and very clean. The staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly a credit to this great hotel. Top location in Port de Soller. The only thing that wasn’t good was the lack of sunbeds, bit of a bun fight every morning to get one so no getting a lie in! The pool area was very well maintained and kept clean. Our only other gripe was the bathroom in the room, some of it had been refurbished but not the bath/shower which was very dated and worn.

Good rooms. Service was hit and miss depending on which staff you spoke with. Room for more sun beds and shades around the pool but simply none there and therefore limited availability. Breakfast was below standard. Especially fresh proper coffee and fresh juices (considering we’re in an area with plenty of proper fresh OJ).

We enjoyed our stay here. It's in a perfect position on the beach and in the middle of the bay with ample great restaurants and bars in both directions. The staff and service were fantastic, the food was good with plenty of choice, the beds were comfortable and the whole place was kept very clean and tidy.

The hotels location is excellent, the buffet breakfast has something for everyone. The rooms are a little basic but very comfortable and a good size. Everyone we encountered was so friendly. Would stay again

Great hotel and awesome location. Really nothing to complain about, would come here again. A bit to many Germans staying at the hotel for my taste, but that is not the hotel's fault.
