What a wonderful experience we had at the Elms! Our room was lovely - great bedding, easy to use TV, bath had a great tub with a rainhead shower and excellent pressure. The property is beautifully maintained. The hosts gracious. The breakfasts were amazing - homemade treats - in the garden if the weather is good, in the dining room if not. This property is walkable to downtown Camden, a treat in itself.

Often, places do not live up to the hype or the ratings, particularly post-pandemic. That is NOT the case here. Elms of Camden is fantastic! Gary and James are wonderful hosts. They were happy to answer my numerous questions, and make suggestions about activities, restaurants, etc. The property is in amazing condition. It is clean and immaculate. The room was very comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet, despite the property being located on Camden's main thoroughfare. It is a short walk to shopping, many restaurants, and the waterfront. The breakfasts are not the usual fare, and of high-end restaurant quality. We look forward to staying there again. A very special B and B, indeed!

This is a fabulous and delightful B&B in easy walking distance of Camden- a great center to explore Maine's south coast. The couple who run it are friendly, helpful and really care about their guests well-being. They are also great cooks! Breakfast is a veritable culinary experience- especially if you have the savory grits!!!

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here while in Camden. The property was phenomenal. Very well- kept, clean, and welcoming. It is also located in a great area that is easily walkable to downtown, the harbor, etc. Everything absolutely exceeded expectations, especially the hosts, James and Gary. They are fantastic people, who go out of their way for their guests. They ensure you have all you need and are comfortable. They accommodate everything, right down to your meal specifications. They are so friendly and you can tell they strive for their guests to leave happy. I made the best choice staying at their property and would highly recommend anyone going to Camden to do so. You will not be disappointed!

Gary and James, thank you so much for the delightful stay. You are great hosts! The room itself was cute and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were very soft — either a perfect night’s sleep or tossing and turning until 2 AM, depending on your pillow persuasion! The A/C at the back of the room was quiet and effective. For the bathroom — I was surprised by the size of the toilet. It was quite small, and may be difficult to access depending on the proportionate size or physical ability of the human. The bathroom itself was not wheelchair accessible. The breakfast was delicious. There were a good array of options. (Gary and James did call ahead to confirm if I had any allergies.) Breakfast was from 8 - 9. The patio was well designed and perfect for a warm evening. Mature trees provided sun coverage. I particularly appreciated the parking arrangements. It felt both safe and accessible, especially when I had to dash to the car after dark. Everything was walking distance and I spent a nice, lazy afternoon admiring Camden. Lots of restaurants in town. Toilet aside, I was very happy and look forward to going back! Thanks again!

This was a very nice property. We stayed in a king room adjacent to the main house. It was immaculate. Comfortable bed and soft sheets.. You cannot watch the TV from your bed, it is in a seating area with a couch. The house is a 10 minute walk into downtown Camden. Great location. We had a full breakfast which was delicious. The 2 owners were really nice and accomodating. i would stay here again.

My friend and I stayed here and absolutely loved our experience. Gary and James are wonderful hosts. The space is lovely and they did a wonderful job showing us around. So kind and easy to talk to. Our room was lovely and quint and we each slept well. To top it all off we had a beautiful breakfast which my dietary needs being taken into consideration. The whole coffee / breakfast experience was perfect. We read and knit out on the terrace afterward. Highly recommend!
