We immensely enjoyed our stay at the GrunerBaum Hotel! The hotel reception desk was very nice and helpful. Our room was excellent, spacious, and clean, with a balcony, table, and chairs! There were great views of the beautiful mountains. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of items, and the staff was very friendly. We walked to several must-see places and restaurants in a great location. Getting the Brixen card for our stay was great; it gave us access to tourist places. It was very convenient to park our car in the hotel garage. The hotel offers several amenities that make the stay even more pleasant. We had a wonderful stay and will be back! Thank you!

Comfortable stay in a little bit old fashioned building. I found it a bit a maze. Breakfast was mostly good and had many choices. Crack of the door was too big, so made some noise by the air from time to time.
WiFi was disappointing. Mostly it failed, and if it worked it was only short and slow. I tried it in my room as well as in common areas.

Good staff and the room is clean.

Lovely hotel, beautiful garden and pool. Staff not helpful moving in w luggage. Didn’t help or even show us where elevators were and long hallways very confusing.

This place is spotless, it’s in excellent condition and the breakfast buffet is sumptuous. The old historic city center is half a block away. Ideal location.

We have an incredible stay in Brixen, this hotel is very central and great to explore Brixen and the surrounding areas. The hotel had a lot of facilities to keep you entertained. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

This was listed as a 4 star hotel, which i assume it is, but my room, particularly the bathroom was very run down. Instead of a sliding shower doors or even a curtain there was half a shower door that instead of staying still would flop around. Fantastic breakfast though.

The staff was friendly, this is the second time I visit this hotel and for sure I will return. The classic architecture is fantastic, all the facilities, such as pools and spa, were quite good. Just the breakfast I feel that more options can be added.

I liked the atmosphere.

The hotel is in the heart of the city, very nice and well kept, with a lot of free services including spa and parking (even if the free option is limited). Very nice and useful staff. Spacious rooms in local style. A great stay!

We stayed one nigh prior to the Alta Via 2 trek. We used the free bus to Plose cable car, (stop 100m from the hotel) and the free ride to the top. Staff was good, aircon good, beds good, breakfast and service in general super. GREAT location for shopping and restaurants.😀👌

At first I thought I made a mistake and arrived in another hotel. But I did not. In the pictures there is a modern hotel, in real life it is more like an early 90s revival. The room was very worn out and smelled weird (so do corridors). Each bathrobe was different, slippers as well. Climate control did not work. The only good thing was a garage and nice staff during breakfast, otherwise very bad experience. I have no idea where they got the idea this is a 4* hotel.

It was a larger hotel than I expected. I usually prefer smaller, family establishments, but I learned that this was a family-owned hotel, and that’s why it was homey and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful, with a wide array of foods for carnivores and vegetarians—even a juicer with carrots, apples and ginger. The room was very nice with a balcony looking over the river. The pools were terrific, indoors and out. I even had a. Nice massage, which was ok and not too pricey. The hotel is very well-located in the town and early morning walks along the river are a must. The lifts to the upper mountains were not yet functioning in May, so I was disappointed that I could not hike in the upper, spectacular areas. Advice: wait till June 1.

Really excellent and good value. Pools, spa, good food and great service.
The hotel supplies a Brixen card means free travel etc in the local area.

The hotel is situated just across the river from the old city center and about 20 min walk from the railway station.
I had a balcony in my room with a view over the river and Duomo which was nice.
Breakfast was excellent and the hotel was really nice overall.

The location of the hotel to downtown is perfect! Beautiful setting next to the river with cafes and shopping minutes away. The parking was a nightmare; terrible directions to garage area for paid parking and beware can get boxed in with no escape. Breakfast was not so good and seemed very little COVID-19 precautions in place with so many people in the Buffett lines and food completely exposed.

very friendly staff, nice facilities, very good location, clean and specious room. The only thing we would improve is the quality of the buffet which spoil a bit the dinner experience which was overall nice.

Location few steps from the surprisingly beautiful town. Great pools, very quick service, standard but good breakfast. Bit labyrinth like hotel but overall very positive!

The hotel has lots of character but is difficult to navigate. We went high season so it was very busy and breakfast felt quite chaotic. Evening meal was average and over priced. Staff were excellent and the room was very clean

We stayed overnight on our way from Milan Malpensa to Austria. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose the half board option with dinner included and that was definitely the way to go. The dinner was delicious and the waiters were great. Bressanone is a pretty town. We would definitely come back.

Stay often for business. Single rooms are very small but ok for a couple of nights. Good breakfast but often very busy. Perfect location for visiting Brixen

Nice hotel. Good location . helpful staff. English spoken. Free bus and ski lift pass.

Breakfast buffet was great, they have a lot of pastry and bread choices, cheeses and cold cuts. Coffee should've been more accessible though other than the vending machine. The waiters on the buffet wasn't that accommodating though. It was late for me to learn that you can order coffee through them. The hotel receptionists were helpful. Location is great because it is within the old town so it is walking distance to shops and cafes and it offers amazing views of the church and the mountains. I had the room with the balcony. The single room was perfect and spacious.

Everything was clean, room was ready when we arrived, and the service was very good.

Charming old hotel near the old city. Great location for walking to sites in the old town and wandering around shops. They offered a Brixen card which allowed us free access to museums and had we stayed longer, free bus transportation. I wish we had stayed longer.

Great, relaxing two days. We hiked in the day and enjoyed the pool/sauna afterwards. Very nice and friendly staff, comfortable rooms with great views. The restaurant was disappointing but the wine was good!

great location, terrific spa and pools, included breakfasts are wonderful, staff helpful, rooms a tad shabby and stingy on providing shampoo and amenities.
