Its a disgrace that hotels.com sells rooms for gthis appalling dump. There is no reception . You get a code for the door and a code for the room. Its essentially a youth hostel. The phone number is not answered My basement room was down two flights of satirs, there is no lift, I had to help an extremely stressed elderly couple I found on the doorstep who couldn't open the front door and could not hope to carry their suitcase down two flights Eventually they gave me a room key which didn't work as apparently the lady who cleans the room had engaged a lock which can only be opened by the code! I spoke to the manager's son and said he had a very stressed couple in their late 80's and he was to come stright away ...his repsonse was "don't tell me what to do !"

The hotel staff and owner were courteous and friendly. The shower pressure and function was good - only problem was that it was a tiny space. As I turned around, I bumpted the tap, which resulted in dangerously - hot water. And I’m a small person. The tap needs a temperature moderator asap.

Calling this a hotel is a stretch. This is a boarding house. This is not made clear when you book. You’re renting a room and sent a code to get in the building and your room before you arrive. Often there is no one at the front desk. When I was there internet did not work. There was no soap or shampoo in the room for a hair dryer.

This was my second time attending the film festival in Cannes. Last year, I shared an apartment with friends. I knew that this year I once again wanted to have the ability to make a cup of coffee and something to eat before heading out. Hotel Bellevue was perfect for me because I was allowed to use the mini-fridge, microwave, and water kettle in the kitchen. The hotel is only a 5 to 8 minute walk to the festival, but returning to the hotel is an uphill walk the entire way. I enjoyed the exercise, but some people might not be up to it. Alex, the proprietor, went above and beyond my expectations! His English is perfect, and he was always helpful with information I needed throughout my stay. Also, he was always cheerful, friendly, and approachable. The housekeeper, Gloria, doesnt speak English, but she was always very sweet. I felt very at home at Hotel Bellevue, and really enjoyed having a place to retreat to. Theres a patio with comfortable seating, and a resident cat who is usually out there, sleeping in the sunshine. I liked Hotel Bellevue so much, Im already planning to stay there again next year!

Dirty, smelly, loud, simply disgraceful! Expedia should not even offer this hotel. Looked like the hotel in “the beach” with leonardo di caprio! Felt groes and i left after one night even though i booked teo.

Hotels.com website says there is staff from 2pm-7pm daily. When I arrived at 5pm no one was there. I knocked on the door for 30 minutes until a women got irritated and let me in. She was very kind and called the front desk for me since I didnt have a phone. The person I talked to on the phone told me room number 5 was unlocked and that was it. The key was on the bedside table and the nice women who helped me inside showed me the door code. The bedding and bathroom were clean. Walls and curtains are full of stains. The bed was comfortable enough. The location is good and easy to find.

A good stay for solo travellers as this place did not charge a supplement or extra for singles. Fairly central in relation to the train station and other transportation to get around the local area.
