Upon arrival you are met by lovely staff who swiftly check you in and give you a welcome drink. Our room wasnt quite ready when we arrived but we were a few hours early. We dropped our bags and went for lunch
We were in room 503,which was right next to the lift. This concerned us initially thinking it will wake us up though the night, but we didnt hear a peep.
The room itself was larger than i expected for central london. It was spotless and well equipped. Had a minibar with a few free drinks (soft drinks) and other chargeable items (alochol) The bathroom was very unexpected, had a tv the bathtub, the toilet was typical Japanese style with heated seats, water spray and a dryer.definitely an experience!
For we had avacado on toast with poached eggs and a few items from the buffet. We were lucky that the breakfast buffet was included as being vegetarian, there was very limited options apart from pastries and fruit.
One issue however.in the evening, we decided to try the hotel bar.. Firstly, there wasn't much life there, but thats no fault of the hotel. We opted to try something from the cocktail menu and was recommended the Mexico drink. At £22 each i was expecting this to be a pretty good cocktail, made in front of us.But it was simply poured out of a bottle into our glass and served.Really not what i would expect at that price.I want my cocktail made in front of me, fresh so i can see the ingredients etc. I dont know when this was made. £50 in total with service!

After years of traveling and multi trips to London each year for work, we have found our new go-to. Traveler comfort and the finest details were so highly considered at the Prince Akatoki London. The rooms are as well designed as they are comfortable, and the staff is accommodating and highly responsive with requests. We felt well taken care of each day, and were so very happy here.

Our go to place in London. Love the warm welcome from the front desk, special shout out to Adrian and Isyampi! Great central location in Marylebone, close to Hyde Park, Oxford circus, and station. Great for exploring central London-even on foot!

I only stayed one night and staff couldn’t have made the stay more comfortable. Hallways were dark but room was bright and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Not much of a lobby. Missed out on live entertainment in the restaurant (which sounded awesome—should have lingered a little longer to hear more). Lovely hotel, would absolutely recommend.

The Prince Akatoki London offers a unique, affordable, and memorable experience. Passing in and out of reception to while exploring London, we were always greeted with a very warm welcome that was incredibly comfortable and welcomed.
The room, reception, restaurant, and bar were all beautifully designed with a unique style breaking from the normal hotel model.
We will absolutely return to this hotel and seek out other similar properties from the group. Thank you to all of the team that made our stay special.

Stylish boutique hotel based on Japanese simplicity. The lady who checked me in and out (Joy) was extremely professional and sweet. The location, close to Marble Arch was extremely tranquil

Unfortunately, this hotel is a travesty- the only positive is the location, which allows you to be outside the hotel. We arrived early, at 1:15 pm, for a 3 pm check-in and let the front desk know we needed two twins vs. a queen, said we were happy to wait until check-in time but they told us it would only be 5-10 min so we should hang around. Then they told me it was $100 pounds additional for twin beds. After 1.5 hours and some stern words with the front desk, our room was ready, we were told three different reasons why it was late (tv issue, housekeeping problem, separating the bed..) When we arrived to the room, it was incredibly small with the beds simply two touching twin mattresses on a queen frame (we paid an extra 100 pounds for this!) - the accessories in the room were Ikea, the bathroom was outdated, and you could not turn off the heated towel rack in the back of the shower when showering. We flushed the toilet in the evening, and it would not stop running/gurgling. I was already asleep, but my friend had to be put in a different room because the hotel could not fix it. She was placed in a room below the hotel. Additionally, weird items: turn down service with teapot and cups (cute) but no hot water anywhere to be found for the tea. Bag tags snapped off luggage with nothing said. I truly have never had an experience like this at what was supposed to be a high end hotel, more in line with a Residence Inn.

Since the moment we stepped in the staff has been very welcoming, professional and caring. It is a small hotel where every detail is taken care of, from the furniture, the general vibe and ambience, in-room amenities and a perfect breakfast offer and service.
We spent one night with a infant and everything was perfect, we will be staying again for sure

Wonderful hotel. So calm and comfortable. Definitely will be going back.

Upgrade upon check in offered only upon reminder and then a room on the first floor looking into the backyard. Otherwise pleasant and clean hotel. Very low ceilings and shower therefore a bit claustrophobic. Staff extremely friendly and attentive.

Wonderful stay. Staff were helpful. Adri went above and beyond. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we were left a beautiful selection of petit fours.
Bed was comfy. Lovely selection of teas and toiletries. The only slight niggle is that we felt breakfast although nice wasn’t to the same standard as the rest of the experience.
