Apartment had no views/balcony or even the ability to have the window wide open (ground floor), entirely negating the benefit of having its own kitchen, because the darkness of it made you want to go out and eat every meal. The main double bed was lovely but the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Not much better than simply sleeping on the floor. The following night we booked ab Airbnb property that was similar in every way but only a third of the price. In fact it was considerably better because it had a balcony with chairs and tables on.

Great stay and very convenient location. It could be just a bit better in cleanliness but overall 5 star.

I had a very lovely stay here on a solo trip. Room was spacious and clean with a terrace. Everything is in walking distance from it and it is close to a stunning costal view.

Very welcoming reception, nice location, and comfortable accommodation. Booked two nights but my plans changed and I checked out after one night. Still everything was good. Recommend it.

We had a great stay. I was able to call up a ahead to ask about parking and they reserved a space for me in the private car park. The staff was very nice, advised on what we should do with our day in Biarritz, and allowed us to check in an hour early as our room was ready. The room was very comfortable and the aircon worked well. We will definitely comme back.

My partner and I stayed a week for a last minute holiday in Biarritz. We did not rent a car, and this hotel is very central. It was an enjoyable experience walking everywhere and we were able to walk back to the hotel throughout the day due to proximity to the main beaches and restaurants. I appreciated having an always-staffed front desk, a balcony, and quiet accommodation to relax. Thank you :)

Good location.
Friendly staff.
Big room.
The area is a (expensive!) nightmare to park.
Cleaning was not very well organised.
Toilets with leaking flush (sometimes)/lack of ventilation

A great place to stay, close to walk to beach. Block away from nice small park. Very clean. Quiet rooms. Two options for breakfast. Could eat inside or little patio. Friendly front desk check in and help. Easy walk into town

I booked the room after through Expedia about an hour prior to my arrival. There was no notice or warning about check-in times and the system let me book the room. When I arrived, the door was locked and there was nobody at the reception. The intercom failed to connect me to anyone. I had to spend the night in my car, after a 2 hour flight followed by a 3 hour drive.

Hotel in great location. Close to the see and the beach, surrounded by picturesque houses in adjacent streets. We stayed in an apartment (renovated from an older structure); it was spacious and it could be a convenient base for a longer stay. Agreeable staff and we enjoyed the visit, except for a poor breakfast.

Tiny room. Very tiny bathroom facility. Sink looks more like a miniature urinal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Minimal parking available, and apparently requires advance reservation.

A perfectly decent 3 star type hotel. Good clean place to stay a night. Reception Was helpful
2.5
Wonderful little hotel, ideally located (close to the beach and the center, yet at the quiet end of the street). Very friendly and helpful receptionist - really 5* service experience. The room was small, but very bright, functional, with a nice balcony and a spacious bathroom.
The only problem was the cleanliness issue - on one pillow there was a long black hair..

Staff and front desk personal were excellent! Very helpful!

It would have been good to have darker curtains as the street lights kept us awake and so did the internal water from flushing of toilets and showers . The upstairs floor has thin floor as we heard all
Movements and footsteps

Very welcoming people. The isolation between rooms was not perfect.

The hotel is clean and well decorated. Very simple room. The problem that we encountered during our stay was that the rooms are extremely noisy. The windows when shut, even with the shutters down, still somehow permeate all the noise coming from the street. Scooters, trash truck, cars, peoples conversations, can all be heard. You can also hear people in other rooms. However, other than this the hotel room is nice and only a short distance to the center of Biarritz.

No problems with this hotel except perhaps that the en suite toilet was a bit modestly proportioned! Everything else though was fine. Didn't try the food but staff were helpful, terrace on our room (41) was great (distant sea view with sunsets, sun loungers, table & chairs), air con was fine, black out blind rendered the room totally black, bed comfortable, room size ok, decent safe, good shower. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay in October here. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast.

I opted for one of the 4th floor rooms with a terrace, a decision I did not regret. The hotel is on a hill, heading up from the old port, and the 4th floor is a little bit above the other buildings in the neighborhood, which means there are nice views and a sense of calm. There are a fair number of hotels in the vicinity, and a number of good restaurants within a few blocks. --It did take me a while to find the hotel when I arrived from the train station by bus, even though the hotel is signposted at nearby junctions. (Id recommend arriving with a full city map, not just a printout from the web site.) Once youre settled, you can easily walk to the old port, beaches, and other attractions.

We stayed for two nights. Our room was modern clean and comfortable. Complimentary bottle of water each. Tea and coffee with biscuits and kettle om a tray. Safe for valuables and air conditioning unit in room. Staff were welcoming and friendly on reception. Full breakfast was well worth the cost with home made cakes and freshly baked bread and delicious coffe but you could just have had an express breakfast also. Situated away from the busy part of town - peaceful nights sleep - easy to walk to all bars/ restaurants and beaches. Biarritz is an exceptionally pretty holiday resort and this hotel is typical of the local architecture.

The hotel room was very comfortable to stay in. If there were more than 1 person in my room it would have felt a little cramped (the room had a queen sized bed).
The bathroom was very nicely decorated however I would have preferred a shower curtain or glass divide next to the shower as when I used it the water got all over the floor and made it very slippery to walk on.
The breakfast buffet was very tasty and there was a lovely selection of French cheeses and pastries.
Overall, the hotel was good, however, as there usually is with most places there were a few things which could be improved.
