My wife andvI had never been on vacation since she arrived here 4 years ago. All we have done is work. We decided to go to Pt Pelee because it was close to home. I saw your hotel online and didnt want to go to a hotel chain. Just a small, quint hotel. There is no elevator and the rooms are clean, but not deluxe. It was just the fact that we were getting away from it all. This place was perfect. It is conveniently located near the marina and the ferries to Pelee island. We had a great time and slept comfortably in an absolutely quiet place. Thank you for the hospitality.

The hallways and staircase the carpets were worn and should be replaced. TV did not work offered an other room but would not replace the tv.

Great location right on the beach.

Great location, but not so great service. The bedsheets were stained and there is noone at the front desk after 6 pm so we slept on top of the blankets. Room was okay, nuce fireplace, but seating was backless bar stool or 1 wooden kitchen chair. Comfier seating and a coffee maker in the room would have improved our experience.

We liked the location, The restaurant and ones in area were closed on our stay

Horrible stay loud and no staff on site and no emergency phone number. Crazy loud till 1130pm .would not come back.

Had a great stay

The bed was extremely uncomfortable there was no comfortable chair to sit in just wood kitchen chairs the floor was slippery somebody used too much soap when they cleaned it. It was a nice location right there by the beach but the bed being so uncomfortable ruined our stay

The seacliffe inn is located right by the water. No on a cliff but very close to the water. Room could have used a bit of maintenance but overall it worked great for us.

Clean and tidy. Great location, we could see the beach and harbor from our window. A pleasant waterfront walkway to the marina is right across the street. Very helpful staff!

Our room looked on the lake which we loved also a very comfortable room.

Character property with the most convenient location for visiting Point Pelee National Park, or going off for a trip to Pelee Island. Great location, unique place - have stayed here regularly.

Great location to the beach and the ferry to Pelee island.

Charming and right on Lake Erie. Just lovely and such nice staff.

The room was very clean and beds were comfy, I wish the tv could be seen from the bed better or comfier chairs or a sofa to sit on instead of a hard wood chair. Also would have liked a lamp beside the bed so we could find our way to bed once the ceiling lights were turned off. And the bathroom door stuck and needed to be pushed from outside the bathroom unless we left the door open a little bit. Otherwise it was a beautiful room with a great location.

We arrived late had trouble finding a way into the property. We had no way to contact anyone on our confirmation. We finally followed a guest into the check in area. There we found a basket with our key. Otherwise we enjoyed Chuck’s for dinner. However if had known the lively bar downstairs with live music.

I recently stayed at Seacliffe Inn and had a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptionally nice, making the stay feel very welcoming and homey. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay.

The room was very spacious and clean. Perfect location to take the ferry to Pelee Island. Close to the beach also.

The only downside is that there is no elevator. It's only 3 floors, but if you have mobility issues book a room on the 1st floor.

Very nice location with lake view.
Pelee Island Ferry and the beach are a minute away.

We were on the 3rd floor of the Hotel and it was a very hot and humid night. Room never got below 80 until well into the next night. AC flow was minimal did not work well at all.

Rooms were nice size and clean.

The Inn is a bit tired , but rooms are large and clean . The location is great if planning on using Ferry ,and biking distance to Provincial Park . Staff were accommodating . Not sure why they went with higher end dining experience and not renovating the INN itself . Overall 7/10 and decent .

Great safe and comfy place to stay for a reasonable price while visiting Point Pelee. Great BBQ joint right across the street, fast food, perch and ice cream all within walking distance. Hotel is directly above a fancy restaurant as well.
Be prepared if you stay here in late April, May if you are not a birder. The hotel will be full of birders and we are out the door before 5 am. We try to be quiet, but its sometimes hard.
Rooms can sometimes be a bit odd. For example the one I was in had a desk but no outlets near the desk. They are also not your traditional hotel room, they're more homey with a four post bed and carpet. The room I was in even had a gas fireplace. I will book there again on my next trip.

The property was clean and the staff person who checked me in was friendly and professional. Overall, the hotel is a bit dated but it’s clear that the staff is intentional about offering guests a good experience.

The seacliff inn was beautiful.

Wonderful experience, but I wish the fireplace we had in the room worked. It never fired up. We would have loved that. The bathrooms could use an update...the tub inserts are very flimsy.

Lake view room was lovely and spacious. Short walk or drive to the ferry. Though we got a note that there are no coffee makers in the rooms, we arrived to find a well stocked coffee bar with 2 Keurig machines in the hall on our floor. The room was spacious and covers clean. Will be back!

I wanted to love it. Really, I did. But the description of the Inn and the surrounding area was so over-embellished. The front-desk person 'upgraded' our room - which we did not ask for - but we were placed directly over the patio area where there was live music or taped music played loudly until 1 am. Fine if you're into that or didn't drive 5 hours beforehand. In its day, I'm sure it was a wonderful Inn - but now just underwhelming. The centipede, and slippery tub in the bathroom were another disappointing feature. We canceled our second night. Sorry Seacliffe - but the food at Seacliffe 13 was overpriced and underwhelming, too.

Seacliffe Inn is clean but dated. It is in need of some modernization and minor repairs.

This property is so overpriced considering the lack of amenities which are standard in similarly priced accommodation. Our room was on the 3rd. floor and there is no elevator. Fortunately, for octogenarians, we’re in pretty good shape and managed without too much difficulty. The front desk is only staffed from noon till 6.00 pm. The room itself had only one bedside table with the only lamp in the room. No designated clothes closet, only a small open area with ONE hanger and a shelf where the bath towels were located, OUTSIDE the bathroom. No hairdryer. No towel racks in the bathroom, only 2 cheap plastic hooks. No light above the bathroom mirror, only a ceiling light, making it impossible to properly apply makeup. No waste basket in the room, only one in the bathroom. No telephone. No room darkening shades/drapes and the window was streaked with bird droppings. The room is badly in need of an update and - in fact, the whole place needs an overhaul or a drastic reduction in pricing. Also, when we arrived at 9.30 pm, we had difficulty finding a parking space as all the parking had been taken, not by guests of the Inn, but by patrons of the restaurant. There obviously was no thought given to reserving parking spaces for guests staying at the Inn.

Enjoyed the spaciousness of the room we had and good air conditioning. We liked the "light" nautical theme in the hotel and the convenience of the location to the ferry (which we were taking to the island). Parking was easy and plentiful.
The wifi was not very good, though we weren't there for that. Bed was a little firm for my preference.
We didn't realize that the front desk wouldn't be open when we were arriving so the front desk staff gave us a call and let us know the door code to get in and grab our room key.

The location is very nice across the road from the beach. If you are looking for a new updated property this would not be the place for you. TVs are old and only stairs in use.

Good location for the Festival of Bird's at Point Pelee.
Easy check-in and out. Nice staff.
Nice rooms.
Would stay again.

The only problem we are not giving a higher rating is that we requested to have a ground floor room because we have many luggages on the trip but the male staff did not give us a room downstairs and we had to carry our luggages up to second floor . Hard for we seniors !

Charming Inn. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
