Based in a service station area. Arrived receptionist was cheerful and informative. Had to walk up stairs to room then the smell in the corridor hit us just wasnt pleasant. Room was ok but not hugely clean bed didnt give a good sleep mattress was worn. Felt we had to put chain on door. Price was cheap and after all it was for only one night ...had to put key in box in morning as no one on reception at 10am

Motorway service station hotel, so probably not anyone’s first pick for a holiday, but room was massive, clean and shower very good.
For the cost of the hotel, it’s very good value for money.

I felt quite isolated but i guess thats what happens staying on a motorway, Also i couldnt get into my room 3 times as the key didnt work and the master key had to be used, they were aware of this before may stay and it wasnt sorted, for these reasons i would stay again x

This is a motorway services hotel. It's cheap and cheerful.
Yes the bathroom and carpets could do with some TLC and the beds arent the comfiest. BUT the service was brilliant. Friendly and helpful. And the room was exceptionally clean. Oh and surprisingly quiet. Yes there is constant drone of the motorway, but it doesnt sound like you're on the motorway. And considering our room was at the entrance, right behind reception, it was very quiet.
Just what you need for a stop over. Stayed with 2 medium sized dogs who had a very settled stay.

Excellent

Convenient location but tatty room and shower didn’t work
3.8
Convenient stop off on the motorway handy for food which is next door and an EV charging point

Room was ok .tv not good few channels. Bedding not good stiffening makes you sweat not sleep unpleasant sleep.

This is a low price hotel and as such it gives good value for money. The staff are friendly but not always available. The manager was very lovely and gave us a great welcome.
We stayed for 6 nights which is probably unusual, if we asked for tea/coffee top-ups or new towels, it happened, but on the whole we had a lot of privacy. As a stop-over it's convenient and although it's basic, it is comfortable enough. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Friendly, professional reception staff.
Hotel clean and presentable
Exactly what you would expect from bargain hotel

The staff were very helpful and nice and the room was clean would stay here again and recommend to others

We had no cold water either at the sink or bath, we were given four bottles of water to compensate, we were not offered another room and could not have a shower as the water was too hot. The room was not clean nor was the bathroom. Luckily the beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. We will definitely not stay again even though the price was good it should still be clean and in full working order

The Hotel is very tied. Staff were great rooms are very poor old style locks so you had to chain yourself in.
Bathroom was dirty & dated.
I booked for 2 nights but left the key the first morning and didn’t go back

It was ok
3.8
As always, a reasonably priced room which was warm, spacious, convenient and clean.
I also liked the discount voucher for food at the service station and the manager who took the trouble to tell me about the short cut to the opposite site of the motorway.
I look forward to my next visit.

Get what you pay for!
Tatty and needs refurbishing

Reasonable accommodation

Very basic room, spacious with all the essentials. However the bed sheets were stained, washed but with old staines. Hair in the bath and lots of stains and marks on the carpets and bathroom walls.
3.8
Middle of the Rd for condition, price, service . All good
3.8
No frills budget motel at motorway services, with Mcdonalds and a WHSmith next door.
3.8
Cheap.ok for money

Nice staff clean room
3.8
No good. Too dated and dirty. Not a nice stay. Would not stay again. Not recomended.
3.8
Nice room with loads of space for 4 persons clean and all you need for our stay.Nice one
3.8
Very little food nothing said the only small cafe closed very early so it’s fine if you don’t mind Mac Donald’s in the evening but anything else you can’t have. And nothing open for non fast food until 10am
3.8
The bathroom light was not very bright.
3.8
The receptionist was the most rude horrible person I’ve ever dealt with in my life
3.8
Motorway services sleep stop during long car journey.
3.8
Terrible place. Will never consider a Days Inn again. Filthy carpet, no teaspoons, no decaffeinated coffee.
Furniture had been broken off the wall and not replace or repaired. Bedside light didn't work. General light in the room and en-suite very poor, perhaps so you couldn't see the state of the room.
No glasses in the bathroom and shower head filthy. No facilities to eat for evening meal or breakfast.
3.8
Clean comfortable room, pleasant receptionist

I enjoyed the place, it was a great room, at a highway service centre so fuel, food and travel all very easy to do. I personally didn’t not see if rooms are on the ground level or not, which given the apparent lack of an elevator could mean that disabled or overweight may struggle. However I would be surprised if there isn’t ground floor rooms. I simply didn’t see them.

We have stayed at so many places that have only one chair in double rooms!!!! This one had two. Next door to service area meant it had everything we needed.
3.8
Was good, did the job in terms of accommodation. Pity TV kept pixelating and cutting off making it impossible to view anything. Guess the absence of plug for bath is to make you shower and use less water. Bed comfortable so main thing ok.
3.8
Everything so far is very good
3.8
Clean and comfortable
3.8
As always, you get what you pay for. It’s clean and tidy and we always ask for a particular room. Our request has always been always granted. A clean bed and a decent hot shower is all we look for and we have never felt let down.
3.8
Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with great amenities. Ideal location with easy and convenient parking.
3.8
Not well connected on google maps, which gives you ridiculously long ways to get places, going 5 miles up the motorway before double-backing down again. It was only because the receptionist told us a back way that we didn't drive 9 miles out of the way to get somewhere.

We stayed here overnight as a stop off to break up a long journey and it was perfect for that. It was North bound and we were heading south so we had to turn around at the next junction and come back but it wasn't far and didn't take long. Don't get confused by the sign at the Southbound service exit, we almost came off there but there is no Days Inn there!
Reception staff were friendly, check in easy and check out simply drop keys in a box.
Room was clean but basic, beds were comfy enough for a one night stay.
We could hear other guests from our room, coughing and talking then I was awoken by two alarms. For the price though, we expected basic.
We were surprised by the lack of breakfast options at the services, but we did leave quite early. Some cafe places didn't open until 9am.
