Great hotel and spa. Some modernisation needed but overall a good place to stay.
The food could have been a little better but that is just personal preferences.
4.1
Another lovely stay at this hotel. Good toddler amenities with cot and highchair available. Would possibly look at getting nee highchairs as both we gad were torn and trays were not cleanest.
Room was nice and spacious with balcony and large bathroom. Clean room and bathroom. A few cobwebs in bathroom. Would like to see dairy milk alternatives in rooms. Breakfast was good choice and nice set menu allowing pick and choose. Nice view of golf course from restaurant. Bigger mugs for coffee would be good for breakfast - end up having 2 small cups. Gym was good, would say temp needs to be a bit more mild as aircon was quite cold. Equipment was good. Friendly ladies on checkout and checkin. Would be nice to have dinner menu in rooms or in reception so can see beforehand without needing to wonder around the hotel to see dinner options. 25/30mins to Bicester Village for shopping. Overall another lovely stay and would stay again.

The hotel and golf club is a beautiful building set back from the road by some distance leading to a very peaceful and quiet stay.
The room I had was a classical style, large, and included a small outside terrace looking into the central courtyard. Tea and coffee facilities available but no bottled water.
Breakfast was beautifully cooked, and good continental options available too. Really nice orange juice!!
Had an evening meal in the bar, which was satisfactory but perhaps slightly overpriced for what it was.
All in all, I had a lovely couple of nights and would happily recommend the hotel to others.

Very good

Had a nice stay, room and bathroom spacious and clean, nice comfy bed but overall the hotel is a little tired and spa is quite shabby not as nice as it looks in the pictures. Overall pleasant stay for one night

Place was nice... food outside the restaurant was a bit ropey.

Wonderful place to stay and the staff were amazing. We did have a lovely meal in the Sakura restaurant but were somewhat surprised when we were told they hadn’t done the gourmet society discount for 2 years. I have to say though the meal we had was superb.

7/10 room was ok, staff were friendly and food was good, balcony overlooked the bins at the back of the hotel
4.1
We were there as a couple for an night away. Unfortunately, even though we had an executive room, it was disabled and so the shower had a seat right under the shower and there were 2 sinks at different levels.
The room was otherwise ok but we found the hotel in general a little bit dated. Reception tried to change rooms but there was no availability.
Breakfast was ok but not especially amazing.
We found it quite expensive for what it was
4.1
Nice hotel and very quiet. Spa and swimming area a bit old looking, but staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Have stayed here twice now and would stay again 👌
4.1
Lovely setting and views of open countryside. The facilities were great and nice to have use of the spa inclusive in the price. Relaxed but also felt quite luxurious.
The only minor grumbles were the lack of working lockers in the spa and the coffee machine at breakfast used longlife milk.
Room size and facilities were great!

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel. Excellent customer service.

Great for a good golf atay

The property was as expected (we stay once annually) but, lacking a view from the window. The toilet flush was only working in part and the basin tap was very stiff. The wardrobe had not been dusted top or bottom:a little more attention to detail would lift the rating somewhat.
4.1
Fantastic hotel, great food and the room was immaculate
4.1
Helpful staff lovely rooms and food was excellent. The only downside was no children allowed in the pool after 10:00am which was disappointing as we specifically chose the hotel for the pool so had to have 2 very early morning starts.
4.1
Beautiful countryside location with great running trail.

Fantastic stay and lovely food! Definitely would come again!

Receptionist was very unhelpful in the afternoon and not compassionate to the face that the Orr in the other room I booked had Covid so couldn’t attend. Bedroom was dated and bathroom was old and dirty with a cracked shower tray.

We stayed for 3 nights for the British Grand Prix. And what an amazing place. Staff were so grits d welcoming. Food was great. Really nice and pleasant place to stay. Unfortunately we had to leave on the last night as our son was taken into hospital but will definitely be staying again at some point

Dreadful staff in restaurant
Nice comfortable room

Many visits, all satisfactory with one exception when the booking was cancelled on the day of the visit - very poorly handled on that occasion. Otherwise, nothing but praise for an excellent hotel
4.1
Everything was great here. Lovely setting, comfortable bed and very clean. There were decaffeinated tea bags in the room too and a nice selection of toiletries in the bathroom, little touches make a big difference.
4.1
I booked a suite 302, however when we arrived a half used toilet paper , dust on table, bottom of bed had no hook so it kept splitting in half. Restaurant was poor choice, poor service, and over priced on night one. Never went second night and had room service. Breakfast was better but again service poor asked for toast three times and in end give up and walked out. No mini fridge in the suites which was very odd, and to be fair the room was not worth the money. Could be so much better with some detail and care. No normal teabags in room and no milk left, again poor housekeeping for arrival.

Great value for money. Shame we couldn't stay for another night. Room and bathroom was huge! Only downside was no fridge.

Staff were cery friendly and welcoming, room was really nice and the spa was so relaxing...and the food was lovely ..dinner abit expensive..but apart from that all fantastic...would definitely recommend

It’s nice and tidy, stayed here many times in the last few months while working in the area.
4.1
Very nice and very isolated, stunning views, property a little tired in places, but still very nice bedroom very nice, had dripping from gutter onto balcony which was a little annoying (room 206) apart from that nice and fresh. Would stay again if in area.

One of the nicest hotel stays I have had for a while! Room and bathroom was far better than an average hotel room, and good quality toiletries. Breakfast was best hotel breakfast I’ve had for years! Spa/sauna was nice. Lady on reception was super helpful and friendly :) :)
4.1
The first room I was given smelt of damp golf shoes that had been left overnight (I know that smell because I play golf :). The Oxfordshire was kind enough to who me to another room which I am thankful for. I also left my shorts behind and Lei on reception was a star and located them for me and posted them back to me which I received on Saturday.
4.1
A really enjoyable stay, one of the best hotel stays we have had in a very long while. Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed making the most of the spa facilities which were quiet and clean. The room was spacious and also quiet and clean. We would definitely stay again.
4.1
Very nice hotel and grounds - great breakfast too
4.1
Fantastic location and lovely views. Eat in the Bar food was good and service was excellent. Very good facilities and good Gym. Breakfast also very quick and well presented and good food. Would recommend and will use again when in the area on Business.
4.1
It’s was small and quiet
4.1
Very relaxing no hustle and bustle just chilled
4.1
The hotel is well kept and clean, but traditional looking. We stayed in a suite and had a limited, restricted view of the golf course.
The staff answer all questions but the hotel does not cater well for families, especially with younger children. For use of a mobile cot, payment had to be made which is not something seen often today.
Use of facilities like the swimming pool for families with children under 16 is very limited. Only a few hours in the morning. So this can spoil your plans for the day especially if weather dependent.
Breakfast was nice enough but selection is also limited.
Dining at the hotel is costly with limited meal choices for vegetarian or specialized diets like Halal catering.
