The hotel is very centrally located. The construction site just outside of the hotel was a bit annoying. Room was strange but nice. Views to the fortress from my room - nice. Receptionists were helpful. Breakfast was basic - but okay.
If you come by car, make sure you know where to park, the hotel has absolutely no parking of its’ own.

Fantastic hotel, this is the 10th time I have stayed here and it isn’t the last

Check in was terrible- the lady could not find 1 of the bookings and was quite short in her tone- it was embarrassing as i had 2 clients with me- not acceptable- also i no its not guaranteed as a VIP member - but never get a room upgrade and the room given the last 2 visits tiny- its a shame because it could be a great place

Take advantage of the spa. The pools alone are worth sitting even if you do not get a massage.

Short but lovely stay at Aire Hotel in Almería. Perfect location, cafes, shops and restaurants at your doorstep. Quiet, clean and comfortable after a long day of driving :-)

Roman baths and massage were excellent value for money and a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
Rooms were ok and although the pool area on the roof top looked very inviting we found some of the decking and sunbeds were broken and the area generally untidy with dirty plates and food left on the tables and even a nappy ! There are bins up there but even so some people are lazy and I felt there really should be someone manning the area. No bar apart from a vending machine so basically self serve.

Beautiful Hotel. Clean and the use of the Ancient Baths was an added experience. The staff really tried their best to service me in English. I am not fluent in Spanish. Having the bi-lingual staff added good customer service.

I stayed in room 203 and felt it was an example of design over function. The toilet and shower were in an opaque glass box in the room but you could still see into the shower. I was travelling alone but anyone sharing a room might not like it! Also, there was nowhere to hang longer items like a coat or a dress (the wardrobe didn’t have a long section). No full length mirror either. Nice toiletries but no tissues. “Smart” toilet like those in Japan - but I didn’t fancy trying the various options! The breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and a great view of the Alcazaba.

The gentleman at the check in desk was so helpful and kind. He went above and beyond for us. So thankful to him!
Great experience!

Hotel Breakfast area very Dirty. Shower area visible from the room. WiFi poor. Beware Room 105. Twin Bed request not received by the Hotel. Unable to make contact with Hotels.com

BEWARE: After 45 minutes trying to find this place after dark on old narrow streets we found their very small sign, but NO PLACE to unload or check in. It appeared perhaps unsafe. We called but could not understand where to find their parking and we simply gave up after learning we would have to walk a few blocks if we ever found their parking. Get there early and plan to walk if you can even find this place, but I would NOT recommend it. We gave up and stayed at HC Marriott.

An afternoon in the baths and an evening in Almeria. Super hotel with the most amazing and helpful people on reception. Fabulous room (junior suite) and a lovely breakfast

My wife and I extended our trip to Almeria to experience the luxury of AIRE Hotel & Ancient Baths. The hotel impressed us with its chic decor, upmarket vibe, and English-speaking staff. The room was comfortable, and the rooftop pool offered a cool place to relax. The underground spa was the highlight, with an incredible couples massage by Cristina and Lucina. The spa had various pools and relaxation areas, providing a truly indulgent experience. Although we were disappointed not to receive the complimentary wine as advertised on Expedia, our overall stay was still enjoyable. The hotel's location was convenient, allowing us easy access to town, the beach, and the Alcazaba.

Front desk staff was beyond fabulous-especially Marni (?)

We couldn’t stand / move in the shower so had to put a towel on the floor to stop us slipping. Black stuff kept coming out of the sinks and one got blocked, but it was dealt with quickly by staff. Tiles need to be non slip. We loved the view from room 303 but sadly the noise from construction on the hill wasn’t pleasant. It is the only room with a private terrace but we spent most of our time there asking people to leave us alone. Perhaps stronger info or a small gate ? We had to leave our private space more often than we would have wished due to these visits. The staff are great and always helpful. Despite the few things we have mentioned the hotel does the job, we would defo stay again we enjoyed the square and Hotel being in a good position in town.

Mina and Ramon at the front desk were so helpful! We needed guidance on where to park and Ramon really took care of us. The spa experience was relaxing and calm. I would definitely recommend!

Nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Ever.

The hotel shower was loose and water didn't flow properly. Reported 1st night
Wifi..didn't work ..reported right away..no resolution
Weird bathroom set up..glass door between toilet and bedroom but if turned light on in bathroom could see person using facilities.
Ok if traveling by oneself but not if more than you.
No conditioner in shower, asked for some, none arrived.
Took dirty paper coffee cups and didn't replace with clean ones so not able to use coffee maker.
Overall, disappointed in hotel considering they are supposed to be a 4star facility.

very quiet hotel.

Modern hotel in historic centre of city with exceptional views of castle. (Very) small pool on roof terrace. Large immaculate rooms. Minor problems with technology. Lots of qr codes to access maps etc. Some rooms have quite a few steps to enter.

I had to ask for a room change because the room 103 was terrible. Entrance through the bathroom and stairs in a tiny room. The new room was ok but it's design though very futuristico has no privacy if You go as couple. For single occupancy it is fantastic

VIP
- I had to ask 4 times for the wine
- We we’re refused an upgrade even though rooms were available
Staff
- the most unhelpful people I’ve ever encountered at a hotel
- patronising tone & looks every time you asked a question
- wouldn’t provide any info re the surrounding area
Hotel
- clean & in a nice location
- pool area is nice but the process to get a towel is ridiculous & took 45 mins
- parking was a nightmare. None at the hotel & reception staff were unhelpful in directing us to the nearest & then on check out didn’t explain what you needed to do with the validated ticket, leading to a lot of confusion & another 30 mins of wasted time
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone - we have been travelling through Spain & Portugal for 3 weeks & this is by far the biggest disappointment.

Loved the property. The only problem was the lift that you could hear through the walls of the hotel into our room all night. Apart from this we have a great stay.

Great spot in Almeria with excellent accommodation & spa

Este hotel está en el centro. Las muchachas de la recepción son muy agradables. Lo unico a señalar es la señal del internet, solo se puede conectar en el lobby. Seria muy bueno tratar de resolver este problema.
1.5
Nice hotel with potential but some of the girls at the front desk were not nice and seemed overwhelmed with having to book spa appointments and provide good customer service. The room staff/cleaning staff was excellent. The spa pools were incredible and the massage was good.

They were impossible to reach.

Difficult location to get to. When arriving, found out that parking was not on site, but an underground car park, which, although was only 5 minute, was inconvenient with bags etc, more importantly, so difficult to drive to with all the 1 way roads. Then to find out we had to pay 14
euros to park there was annoying. This information should be on hotel site.
2.5
Great rooftop, good service, right in the heart of Almeria.
4.0
The room was large with lots of natural light and overlooking a large square which had lots of activity as it was a rallying point for participants (parade and bands) for Corpus Christy ceremonies. Hotel has spa atmosphere with very dim reception area and hallways. Staff were uninterested. We had to draw information from them as to the pool, restaurants…Room 101 had a water rumbling noise until about 23:30. Was it related to the spa activities?
I would ask for a less noisy room.

Beautiful Hotel, right in the middle of an ancient courtyard in the middle of Almeria. Lovely friendly helpful staff and unique, smart, modern rooms. The Hotel is also really clean. Great place to stay, with a full spa and baths on the ground floor
2.5
Amazing stay! I would definitely recommend. In Almería it's a must going to the ancient baths!
