Went above and beyond to get us an early check in after having flight issues. Great staff. Great breakfast. Only thing was the shower water smelled, other than that it was great.

This is our second time staying at Hotel Klettur, and once again, we loved it. Its proximity to great restaurants and shopping is second to none, and the property is run very professionally. The breakfast is fantastic, and the room was extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great: LOCATION - walkable to major attractions and fantastic dinner restaurant just a few blocks right around the corner! PARKING - free, private, closed garage parking. EARLY CHECK IN (for a fee, and if available) was much appreciated after not sleeping on an overnight flight.
Okay: BREAKFAST was adequate, but have had better in Iceland. CLEANLINESS could have been better, particularly in the bathroom. SOUND was okay within the hotel, but our room faced what did not appear to be a busy road, yet a surprising number of cars came through day and night, so it was not the most restful.
Overall, an okay stay. Good for one night for sure.

Good location. Breakfast was good.

Good location at the edge of the center of town. Good coffee across the street. Close to the public pool. Friendly staff. Direct drop off with Flybus.
The bed could be more comfortable.

it was perfect location , helpful staff , no issues easy to go around for shopping and travelling , very nice

Parking available and space was clean. Walls were a little thin and the door made sounds due to outside winds, so some nights could be noisy. Other than that, location was convenient and bed was comfy.

It was comfortable enough. The parking garage fills up quickly and then you have to find street parking, which is a pain. The building is completely boxed in so there are no views and it's a mostly residential area. We were there just one night and it was fine for that. Breakfast was decent.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff! Only 5 minutes to the city center and a good breakfast buffet. Definitely a good choice for an affordable stay!

The room was very comfortable with the view on the sea. The breakfast was very good and the bar is ideal for rainy days! Just 5 minutes walk to the city center and nice, helpful staff. I can only recommend it!

It had a reasonable price with free local parking. However the parking garage is small and always full, tgere is free parking outside but you have to be careful not to park in paid spots or tow away spots. They have a small pool table and areas for reading which is nice. Breakfast was good.

Very close to many areas for site seeing

The property was clean but hard to navigate the different elevators and floors (where things were). Staff were always helpful but a bit of a walk to points of interest.

Good overall property and well located

Great property, staff and location. The breakfast was super busy, but good. I also appreciated that because of the location, tour companies would do direct pick-up.

Wonderful stay. Close to the center. Very clean room and a good breakfast

Large hotel that is trying to rise to elite status. Good breakfast. The room I was first assigned to was in the basement. It was depressing and dark The view out the window was staging set up in an alley. It would have been much better used a a storage room.. I went to the front desk and was reassigned to a better room. It was an impersonal hotel and for the price I could have done much better.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms were a bit too hot and there wasn't much ventilation, but the beds were comfortable and the place was clean.

Great location in the city. The beds were really narrow though, the plugs to recharge phones were inconvenient, the breakfast was really weak and lots of tours stay here good price for location

The property was very clean and well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very well stocked, clean and fresh. 10-15 minute walk to museums and other attractions but there are plenty of cute shops along the way to enjoy.

The hotel was in convenient walking distance of the main street and interesting sites.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the location was right near everything without the chaos of being right on the main street. We always went to breakfast which was a great starting point for the day and enjoyed several nights in the bar before bed.

Street noise was a bit loud right outside window and the beds were a bit firmer than my liking. Other than that the stay was wonderful, big selection on continental breakfast.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The black out curtains were great. I was pleased with a hair dryer and shampoo and conditioner. The hot pot worked for my coffee. Staff was great. I enjoyed wine from the place to buy food/wine at the desk. The hotel is close to everything I needed and I walked.
The elevator was slow and very busy at certain times. I used the stairs.

Signs could have been used in restaurant reminding people to wear masks when going up to buffet. Iceland is now on red alert for Covid

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. It is a value for price paid. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. It was the best hotel experience we had this particular trip to Iceland. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
