This charming hotel makes you feel like you stepped back in time yet offers all the modern amenities to make you comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of food options and was delicious. There are places to sit and relax, in one of the lounges or on the terrace.

A beautifully renovated, quaint and quiet hotel with friendly staff. I would definitely recommend and return again.

loved staying at the Berida hotel. Staff are well trained, and it was nice being recognised as returning cutomer.
the only downfall is that pool is still being renovated.

Has to be one of the best accommodation options in Bowral if you are after luxury, hotel facilities and dining options. When we were first asked about booking the restaurant during our stay, we declined, thinking it's some average offering that was not going to stack up to the many restaurants. Well how wrong were we. We ended up getting squeezed into a last minute booking and I would say one of the highlights of staying at Bowral. The Hotel itself has an old regal style to it, and every single staff member we interacted with, was amazing. 5 Star bedding, blackout curtains, mini bar, quality bathroom supplies and everything else you would expect from a good hotel. If you want something special, book this hotel. Well done to management and the staff.

Rooms were dark.
Property was tired.
Meal was below par.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful French provincial decor, modern, clean and pretty. Staff are amazing. The bar and bistro are open all day and evening. The food and service at the on-site Bistro Sociale was impeccable.
The one disappointment was we were in room 20 which is right next to a common seating area and people grouped there and talked loudly.

Friendly and professional staff... Thanks Paul for a great evening with good bar food, conversations and truly outstanding whiskies...
If only you had more personalised music (rather than the piped corporate stuff) in the whisky bar, it would have the evening absolutely perfect!!
Thanks
Adrian

Well presented. Dinner was delicious. Pity breakfast was only a continental meal as dinning room was being renovated.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was like a wonderland from another era. A gem. The food was beautiful and the drinks and wine spot on.

Absolutely beautiful decor and so lovely to be in a renovated old-world building. Pool was fabulous and had a rail going down the steps into the pool, which is great for those with mobility issues like mine.
Sadly the spa was not available as it was undergoing maintenance. I'm not sure how easy it would be to get into though but maybe that is being addressed by the maintenance activity. Sauna is a dry sauna and even after 45 minutes I was not sweating. So, it would be good if you could add water to the rocks. It was great that shower/bathrooms were available to use near the pool and gym and they are spacious. Gym was good too.
Room we stayed in was lovely and while not large was an adequate size. Overall this is a lovely place to stay.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Lovely decor. Well appointed rooms. Nice staff. Only issue was my room (2) was over the lobby.
Woken up a lot at night by loud people coming in chatting and early morning.
