Over priced restaurant with limited menu😳

Beautiful place lovely comfy room Staff very friendly.

The restaurant is extortionate. The menu very limited. Obviously have their French regulars. Plenty of space in the restaurant and we were place out of the way from the main tables. The waiter was a nice guy but the food was ok but very much overpriced really let our stay down. No hot water once one person had a bath. No milk in the room ☹️

Laisser le temps filer sans rien faire ! c'est tellement bon !

le calme ! la situation géographique est exceptionnelle au milieu de la foret avec cette vue magique sur la montagne. Le travail de la jardinière est à mettre en avant également tellement c est magnifique ! Nous venons principalement en automne car la fréquentation est raisonnable ce qui permet de se détendre réellement. La chambre 11 était parfaite avec tout le confort désiré. Pouvoir se rendre en peignoir (prêtés par l'hôtel) à l'espace sauna piscines depuis sa chambre est très appréciable , pourvoir déjeuner également en peignoir est formidable. Le personnel est très accueillant et toujours à votre écoute. Je conseille également de prendre un soin , nous avons eu un massage en couple de grande qualité. Nous avons pris les repas du midi et du soir sur 3 jours , ce qui nous a permis de gouter à une bonne partie de la carte et nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons également pris l'apéritif au bar loundge , très cosy avec un large choix de boissons et cocktails et notamment un whisky écossais merveilleux. Nous reviendrons c'est certain .

les marches sombres de la piscine sont difficiles a voir et dangereuses.

Wonderful getaway

Clean, rustic, professional.Quiet, fresh air, super people. Highly recommended.

The salt air room seats were of stone. Too hard on bad backs and old people.

Great surroundings, great food but a little pricey.

Everything was clean, the food was delicious, there were more than enough loungers for everyone, breakfast went well past the 10am cut off, my wife and I arrived at 9.15 and stayed till 10.40am one morning and there was no hint of an issue.

The food, although absolutely DELICIOUS, was both expensive and very small portions. My wife and I would have a three course meal and leave with space for quite a bit more. Again, the food is really good. I just wished there was either more of it, or it didn't cost quite so much. Even small things like water at €7 each and a small glass of beer at €8 is a bit steep.

Very nice and clean pool and spa area. Beautiful location. A great place to relax. Great, spacious family room with a large balcony and great views of the forest and pool area. Very comfortable beds.

Only one restaurant on site with a small meny which is a thing to consider, when you are in a somewhat secluded location. First courses and desserts were very good, but the main courses were disappointing (we had dinner in the restaurant twice). Hardly anyone (except for the front desk staff) spoke English.

Great Alsacian luxury getaway for hiking, biking, and fine dining

Really nice gem of a property tucked away in the forest. Just out the door you can hike to the Grand Ballon, and explore the Grand Ballon, Le Hohnneck, le Petit Ballon on bike. The restaurant was really yummy after all that hiking and biking. Great selection, local favorites and wine pairings, and super service.

Good, but lacking attention to detail

The location is amazing and the property is beautiful . It's nice to have the Forest nearby. The restaurant has live music in the evenings

There is a huge lack of attention to details, which really make the difference. The fixings in the toilet were loose and coming off (the shower head fell off and almost hit my friend in the head mid shower) There is a small fridge In the room that was turned off and not working, there is a coffee machine but only with decaf coffee pods, the spa offers treatments for children, yet there are no child sized robes or slippers, this is a spa hotel, yet you can't book treatments in reception and the therapists are also the ones handling the booking so if they are all busy you can't book anything. The beds by the pool have the straps torn, even some of the robes have the straps that hold the belt torn off. The hair dryer in the toilet didn't heat up, and half of the staff seemed a bit rude with us not speaking french. Like, the property is so amazing, yet the lack of attention to detail left us a bit disappointed

Beautiful setting, great room with balcony and fantastic spa. Staff super helpful.

WiFi was really poor. Don't know whether this was because we were in Batiment B. But download speed was insufficient to stream TV on my laptop.

Great long weekend over all. We will come back and so are our friends and family

Fabulous place to stay and relax. Years ago I suggested EV charger. Now they have installed it. Now they need to make sure it’s advertised.

We had 3 rooms 6pax or 3 couples and we all agreed that the rooms and specifically the carpet needs urgent attention.

The quiet paradise

(almost everything) Staff was very friendly and welcoming, great service quality, excellent food, wellness center, spacious rooms, quiet, the perfect place to relax, easy parking, surrounded by nature

in all happiness about the place we only had one criticism. The treatment in the spa was not up to our expectations. The survey was only in French (ah you don’t understand French??) and the massage was rather an oil treatment and barely felt. The masseuse had clearly no interest and for 105€ I would have expected more from this treatment. why did I fill out a survey that had in the end no results in the massage?

Lovely indoor/ outdoor heated pool, balcony views, decent restaurant. Good value.

Nothing much, although the red & gold styling throughout won’t be to everyone’s taste, but that hardly matters.
